When I look at someone's art for too long my visual brain artstyle becomes the artstyle of whoever's art I looked at (with some exceptions) which also means my brain animations are in their artstyle so it feels like I'm plagiarizing by having thoughts

I genuinely think if pokemon didn't have the nicknaming feature I wouldn't like it as much as I do. There is something special in finding a little creature and giving it a name and a personality. I get very defendant when people refer to a pokemon species as if there's only one in the whole world instead of it being a species because it feels like taking away that aforementioned personality stuff.
