I was looking through my files and realized I had way more Kaput and Zösky stuff I never posted. Images are captioned with extra info about the individual pieces if that’s what you’re into!
Show’s 20 year anniversary is coming up very soon! Gosh and this year was my 20th, too. Birthed in 2002, we both were. Clearly it was destiny.
I knew I drew them a lot but damn this is like, a lot a lot. Oh well, I just do what the little aspergers demon in my brain tells me to. :P Hope you enjoy!
How did you do the background for 'The Mabel Treatment'? I love it and I wanna know how you did it!
Heya, anon, sorry for the late reply! Thank you for the ask!
I wish I could tell you that it was some sort of laborious act of love for my craft but it's actually just a built-in filter in Photoshop called "Crystallize"! There was a period of time where I was trying to use filters as quick-fix backgrounds and crystallize was one of my favorites. Plop down a gradient, stick the filter on and bam, cool and artsy!
If you're looking to crystallize something of your own but you don't wanna sacrifice a goat to the Adobe tyrants check out Photopea, its got all of Photoshop's features right in your web browser. Directory is "Filter > Pixelate > Crystallize..."
Hope you had an awesome Halloween! /|\^. .^/|\
Study, ~2 hr
Feeling weird about my process rn and figured it'd be good for me. Mainly trying to work on color, light as it plays on fur, shape language and behind-the-scenes stuff like layer blend modes and orders. I feel I learned a lot about light here, actually! Subsurface scattering is way more prevalent than I thought. That, and leaves are very reflective.
Original by @luneri ! Tell your kitty I think he's a very pretty boy
They're like the same guy to me
If Adult Swim is joshing about Smiling Friends season 2 dropping this Sunday I will literally hl2_death_sfx.wav PLESAE I NEED IT SO BAD
One of two pieces I did for Art Fight this year xDc Better than nothing, and I had fun! Focused on going with the flow and exploring.
This is my dear friend @mintytrashcannot's character Albert (and his alien dog Spluty)! I felt he seemed like a rather traditionalist guy who would stand by his country's greyscale palette even after color was legalized, so this is kinda meant to highlight that contrast between his natural color and his conservative values
(Hope that makes some kinda sense...the lore is a bit complex)
This is gonna be incomprehensible for like 9/10 people
Context under the cut
My sister has been begging me to draw over this meme for literally almost a year now and it was finally time.
I was laughing the entire time I still can't look at it I'm so borken in the brain
Destined to fall, like all those before him.
I really love Veen with divine motifs <3 Half-inspired by @dimneo1010's really awesome YV design; I think I had something like this sketched up quite a while ago but they definitely put it back in my brain. The look suits him!
Bad art output lately, mix of stress and program issues. This was done in CSP and while it's a fantastic program I like Photoshop more. Can't use it for long periods of time though bc it lags my laptop so much! Blargh, I miss art, specifically painting; ideally this would be painted ;_; Oh well, hope you like it anyway!
Forgot to post again lol, this one’s a trade with my buddy Jam featuring their absolutely adorable sweet baby boy Miles! Lots of fun with this one :D You can totally tell I got lazy near the end though bahaha. Nonetheless I enjoy this piece a lot and I hope you do as well!
Hi! I want to preface this by saying that I mean absolutely no disrespect; nothing but support to my fellow artist, your style is unique and valuable and that doesn't go unappreciated!
With that being said, I really do not think this technique should be relied on for beginner artists. The individual parts are there, but with fundamentals it's REALLY important you understand how they're put together; they serve as the basis for everything you draw and getting to know them right can save you a TON of hardship in the future!
It's also worth mentioning that the sad truth is that neither of these techniques are gonna take you only fifteen minutes if you're drawing anything other than a sphere haha, but I really enjoy the process personally! Everything's made out of shapes, so put on a video essay about some game you've never heard of and do your thing, it's therapeutic!
Remember to be careful when it comes to online tutorials and not just take my or any other rando's word for it! I'm not an expert; ideally you'd be learning things like fundamentals from professionals. Marco Bucci and Proko are two of my favorites who provide their super valuable knowledge for free on YT in really digestible ways; they've helped me a lot throughout the years.
And, most of all, remember that there's really no wrong way to draw as long as you're having fun. If you're getting something out of the experience, then you're doing it right!
Happy arting, everybody! ^^
fast rendering tutorial for when you dont want to put in any effort
Inspiration struck at three in the morning and I couldn't sleep until I fulfilled my destiny

Also hello again! When I finished that fic I had to physically get up and go for a night drive and lived life in a hollow stupor for the next three days. Pain agony. I didn't think it was possible for me to actually feel bad for the bastard triangle
