Just watched Scott's newest rats smp shortened episode.

I wasn't completely sold on Scowen before but yeah no that's fucking adorable. I'm all in.

But also does anyone else feel like r!Jimmy definitely has an unrequited crush on Scott?

Like he shows Scott Sniff's balcony with the view of the farms, and asks him things like "Isn't this what you wanted? Don't you like it?" As if trying to gage Scott's reaction to it. I'm probably reading into it too much but it almost feels like his tone is longing and disappointed, like he was hoping for more.

And you can tell Scott at the time is just kind of "Oh, yeah, that's cool" and that's it. That's as far as his reaction goes. Like it's a nice surprise but that's all there is to it to him.

But then he turns around and shows the balcony to Owen, and there's slow, almost romantic music, they both say this is the happiest they've ever been, they watch the stars together and say they're glad they met one another. And it's adorable!

But I can't help but feel like that was the kind of moment Jimmy was hoping to have with Scott. Combine that with the fact that Scott gave him a flower in like the first stream, with a very tentative promise to try and find him another one? And yeah, you've got a pretty good setup for an unrequited love storyline.

Again, I'm probably reading wayyyy too into this. It's probably just the part of my heart that refuses to let go of Flower Husbands. But it made me sad to think about so now I'm inflicting it on all of you.
