No light to trust, for the moon gave no cover to the girl as she stumbled over roots. Run... Just keep running: that's what she kept telling herself. She could hear their voices, shouting to bring her back. Back to that white room with nothing but a minimal bed and a restraint system in case she got violent.

She was 8. Permanently 8. That's why they wanted her body as it slowly rotted away from her bones. They wanted sick, sick answers that she would refuse to be the subject of. They weren't welcome here. They landed and never disappeared. 8 years old and she ran through a woodland full of a misty blanket. Home. That's where she needed to get. To wriggle through the gnarled gates of the citadel grounds, and beg for help. Beg someone to tell her father that she was home.

She reached the gate, and almost as soon as she had, the gate swung over and she was hauled off the ground into the arms of a man. Pale tri-coloured hair was all it took for her to know that she was safe.

"You're safe, Cas, you're safe", the voice of one of her fathers rang through her ears and she lifted her head slightly. She saw the gleam of metal walk by, slow and deadly. Far too curious for her own good, she turned her head to watch as the woosh of air was met with the wet squelch of flesh and blood. A few thuds followed, presumably heads of the bodies that collapsed down to the floor.

"They were coming for me...", the forever young girl spoke, staring at the bodies outside the gate. They had been so close to getting her. Broke from her staring by a hand on her head, she looked up to the gentle brown eyes of her second father.

"They will never have you, Cassie, not if I have anything to say about it".

It wasn't uncommon for Dazai to attempt to kill himself - he even went as far as to call it a hobby. There was no meaning to life in Dazai's mind, so why would he live something with no meaning? Dazai witnessed murder, abuse and every other crime you could think, and also committed a large number of them as well. Even so, for some reason, someone cared.

In the Port Mafia, it was Odasaku. Even if Oda saw that there was no life or ambition behind the dead of Dazai's eyes, he still cared about Dazai. If it wasn't for Oda, Dazai would never have left the mafia.

Now, it was his work partner, Kunikida Doppo. But Kunikida was different. Kunikida specifically would find a section of his perfect schedules, and that section would be 'check on Dazai'. He would dress Dazai's wounds, make sure Dazai ate, and see it that Dazai slept. All before Kunikida would focus on himself.

Today was no different. Kunikida was in Dazai's apartment, at the same time everyday. He stood at Dazai's cooker, making the former mafia member something to eat. Unfortunately, Kunikida hadn't gotten there before Dazai had drank a few too many - and Kunikida had yet to find out.

"Why do you help me?" Dazai blurted out after he'd eaten what Kunikida made. The mathematician was in the midst of redressing Dazai's wounds, some old and some new - most self-inflicted, few accidental.

"Sorry?" Kunikida was confused, no doubt.

"Why do you help me?" Dazai repeated. He tilted his head, laid on the back of the couch, towards Kunikida.

"Why shouldn't I? You're worth the same care as everyone else" Kunikida replied, finishing with wrapping Dazai's arm, moving round to the other.

"Am I? You know what I've done... It's punishment is it not?" Dazai stared at his ceiling as he said this.

"You've proven you can and have changed, Dazai. Yes, you drive me nuts, but when you don't it leaves me concerned. You're not the kid you were, alright?" Kunikida said with a tone that only a teacher could manage, using his ability to get another reel of bandage, realising he'd ran out.

"Heh, and I'm the crazy one... You're insane if you think that makes anything better" Dazai grumbled, watching Kunikida.

"Never said it made what happened better. However, you're helping in an effort to make Yokohama safer".

"Kunikida..."

Kunikida glanced up from behind his glasses, finishing the other arm. He immediately noticed that Dazai had tears rolling steadily down his face.

"... Why of all people do you keep me as your partner...?"

"You're more than a damn partner Dazai, and you know that. You're a part of me as I am a part of you" Kunikida moved to sit beside Dazai, pulling the shorter detective into a hug. Outside of Kunikida's usual actions, yes, but it would happen occasionally and Dazai would relax into it. Dazai fell silent, before wrapping his arms around Kunikida, sending the ex-teacher onto his back, only so Dazai could rest his head on Kunikida's chest. He would do this when he got like this - lay and listen to Kunikida's heart, and fall asleep to it, knowing that he would be safe.

"I'm not going anywhere, Dazai. I'm here to stay".

I've mentioned these theories many times, and I think you TWST lot here may like them!

Specifically about Crowley! (Crowley Hate is NOT allowed on my blog as he is my #1 favourite character from TWST)

In brief, Crowley is Malleus' father, but Crowley is also cursed.

Now to explain.

Let's start with Crowley is a Fae. We know 3 (?) other characters with the pointed ears {Malleus, Lilia and Baul}, of which all are Fae. Crowley has the same pointed ears as those three. There's no other race in TWST with those pointed ears.

Now, we also know nothing about Crowley's age, homeland nor past. We also don't know the reason for the mask he wears - this is where the curse theory comes in. What if the mask is there to potentially hide the curse marking or something? The curse in question being that one day, unknown to Crowley, the people around him will suffer in many ways. This could be part of the Overblots too.

Now, how does that work into the Malleus' father theory? We know Crowley runs from danger and problems - we don't know why he does this, so is it a state of attempting to protect people? In which case, could he have ran from Malleus and Malleus' mother to protect them?

Also within that theory - appearance. Crowley and Malleus have identical hair colour, and similar complexion shades. They also have a similar facial shape, and as weird as it maybe, expressions.

AND! The creator of TWST yassified the fucking crocodile... And there's no crow in Diasomnia, but Maleficent has a crow (Diablo)... Why wouldn't the creator YASSIFY THE CROW?!

I am in a multitude of fandoms, including Final Fantasy (7/15/16), Twisted Wonderland, Obey Me, Demon Slayer, Genshin Impact, Criminal Minds and Shadowhunters... Just to name a few.

I am also British! So if I have some "incorrect" spellings, I don't. It's just the British way of spelling the word(s).
