Pairing: Din Djarin x F!Reader Rating: M Summary: When Din finds himself back on Tatooine, he strikes a deal with you. As he works through his grief and his anxieties, he never expects that he’d fall in love — or that you’d feel the same way. Word count: 8,305 Notes: The title refers to a few things in this story. I kind of glossed over what happens once Jabba’s palace becomes Boba’s palace because I think The Book of Boba Fett will cover that a lot better than anything I could come up with. This also ended up being a lot more than I set out for it to be. Originally it was going to be just shy Din with a crush on the reader, but it turned into an exploration of what might happen after The Rescue. There’s grief and uncertainty and soft, sweet Din Djarin at the centre of it. Reblogs appreciated! Warnings: Grief/mourning, implied death, canon-typical violence, mutual pining, older man/younger woman (not a massive age difference, but still there), non-explicit sexual content.

“Y/N?”
You would recognize that voice anywhere, even if it weren’t for the British accent that was a dead give-away. A smile appeared on your face as you looked up from your project and spotted the agent at your door. Your grin transformed into a smirk when you saw the way Peggy was lurking in the doorway, a nearly sheepish smile on her lips, clearly just about to ask you for another favour that you were more than willing to grant her once again.

Ooh, may I have # 18 on the soulmate prompt list with Marcus Pike, please? I'm very curious as to what sort of animals show up and where it's gonna happen! 💕
Thanks so much for the request! I really love the idea of this universe, and there are so many possibilities! I had to think long and hard about what kind of animal Marcus might have, before I settled on the bloodhound - loyal, gentle, determined, it's ability to sniff out leads... that ones a bit of a stretch but I stand by it lol Also how can you say no to either of their faces?! I hope you enjoy it! Soulmate AU prompt list here can be found here!
Marcus Pike x Reader, Soulmate AU where everyone has a "soul animal" that only they and their soulmate can see
The hallway outside your apartment was littered with boxes and furniture, a team of movers working to get everything inside and placed. They nodded apologetically at you as you maneuvered through the maze they had created but you waved off their worries. You had heard someone was moving into the vacant apartment across the hall and apparently today was the day. You hovered near the open door to the apartment, considering popping in to introduce yourself to the new tenant. From the doorway, you tried to watch for someone who didn’t have the same uniform as the other movers, but no one passed your field of view.
One of the movers was hanging a large piece of art on the far wall. The painting took up the majority of the open space, a swirl of colours but mostly red and yellow. It was more abstract than anything, and you wondered if it had any particular meaning. A dog sat a few feet behind the mover, watching intently as he worked. It was nearly comical that the dog seemed to be supervising the mover, like he was worried something would happen to the painting.
Almost like it sensed a new presence, the dog turned over its shoulder to spot you. It stood right away, his long jowls and wrinkles swaying as he faced you. Before you could greet the dog, he barked one low woof at you.
The stoat on your shoulder startled at the bark. You felt it uncurl itself from where it was happily laying, perking up on its hind legs to stare at the dog. It started chirping angrily at the large, wrinkly bloodhound. You learned over the years to follow the instincts your soul animal had, so you backed out of the apartment, leaving the dog alone. You wondered why the slow-moving creature had aggravated your little stoat, trying to get it to settle down as you made your way to the elevator. Aspen, as you had named it when your family had gone skiing when you were young, eventually stopped chirping and squeaking, but it seemed on edge for the rest of the day. You wondered if the dog was mean, or if your stoat was picking up on the energy of its owner. You hoped your new neighbor wasn’t going to be hard to live near.
You didn’t see the newest occupant of your floor for a few days afterwards. The movers and clutter were gone, so you assumed they were settling in, possibly even sorting out their routine. Things like commuting to work, where the nearest stores were. Moving somewhere new was a lot of work. Despite not seeing them, Aspen still seemed extra on alert anytime you passed their door.
You were standing in the hallway, unlocking the door to your apartment, when you heard the sounds of another lock being opened. Before you could turn towards the sound, wondering if you were finally going to meet your new neighbor, your soul animal had skittered down off your shoulder. You watched as it bounded towards the opening door, stopping only when a man stepped into the hallway.
“Hi there,” you called over to catch his attention.
He looked up at you, seemingly startled but he quickly recovered with a polite smile. “Hello.” He greeted, adjusting the hamper on his hip. He was wearing a plain t-shirt and sweatpants, clearly on his way down to do laundry.
“You must be the new neighbor.” You pointed out before giving him your name.
“Marcus.” He introduced himself, closing the door now that the bloodhound had toddled out beside him.
“What’s your dog’s name?” You asked, curious.
Marcus seemed to freeze on the spot, looking at you with wide eyes. You faltered under his spooked gaze, almost wondering if you had said something other than what you had meant to.
The stoat on the floor started chirping at the dog, kicking it’s little feet. You had never seen it get this worked up before. You frowned, worried that this man and his dog really meant trouble. His bloodhound looked at your stoat, tilting its head curiously before letting out a lone bark.
Your own eyes widened as you watched the stoat move closer, the bloodhound sniffing at the ground as it took cautious steps forward. You had never seen an animal react to your stoat before, you thought only you could see your soul animal-
“You can see Silver?” Marcus gaped, slowly setting down his hamper.
It took a second for you to catch up. The dog could see your stoat, your stoat could see the dog, you shouldn’t be able to see the dog-
“Silver is your soul animal?” You breathed.
The bloodhound had lowered it’s head to the ground, showing submission to the stoat. Apparently pleased, your stoat closed the gap, sniffing directly at Silver’s nose. Silver’s tail began wagging as he patiently let the smaller creature examine him.
“And that…” Marcus pointed, apparently having not seen your animal until he was no longer holding the hamper.
“Aspen,” you filled him in on the name you had given your soul animal as a child.
“Aspen is your soul animal.” Marcus stated.
You watched in disbelief as Aspen climbed up on top of Silver, sniffing at the dog’s fur on it’s back once it was there. Silver looked over one shoulder then the other, trying to keep an eye on the tiny creature. His tail kept wagging even as he tried to locate it.
You looked away from the animals, meeting Marcus’ eyes properly for the first time. He was looking at you with soft, brown eyes. Even in the short distance between the two of you, you could see the shine of hope and affection he wore on his sleeve. You’d never been looked at quite like that before.
You smiled shyly under the attention. Marcus was attractive, and you could tell under his lounge clothes that he was fit. You had just returned from running errands, sunglasses pushed on top of your head, lazy sandals on… You wondered what Marcus thought of you.
“I, uh…” You started nervously. “If I knew I was meeting my soulmate today, I would have dressed up.” You joked, trying to ease the tension.
Marcus smiled brightly, a dimple showing on his right cheek. It was absolutely adorable. “No, that’s a perfect outfit to wear to dinner.”
“Dinner?” You frowned, quirking an eyebrow in confusion.
“Unless you already ate…” Marcus backtracked, starting to look a bit like a wounded puppy. You had to grin, already beginning to understand his soul animal. Even if you had, how could you say no? Those eyes were going to get you into all kinds of trouble, you could tell.
“Dinner sounds great.”
Marcus’ smile shone once more, relieved you'd accepted his invitation, although it fell quickly only a moment later. “Any recommendations? I don’t really know the area yet.” He chuckled, running a hand through his hair.
“I’ll take care of it.” You nodded. “Meet me back here in 5?”
He picked up his hamper, resting it on his hip as he opened his door once more. “Make it 3.”
Having noticed Marcus opening the door, Silver stood up. He shook his head, his jowls wagging back and forth. Aspen jumped ship, choosing to jump off instead of being thrown off the larger dog. It chirped in annoyance of being dislodged from the bloodhound’s back. The stoat seemed to already be pretty attached to the slow, lazy dog.
“See you in three.”

Summary: y/n spends the night celebrating with someone else dancing. while din feels himself growing envious, storming away. Y/n and din find themselves confessing feelings
👉👈🥺
Warnings: slight angst I suppose. FLUFFFFFFF and season 2 SPOILERS!!!
*gif not mine*
He wanted to leave this place, get as far away from this planet as possible. But you was having the most fun you've had in a long time. Your usual stressed out tense self was finally letting loose, forgetting the fact you, the child and din was wanted souls among the galaxy, planet hopping and traveling the galaxy every other day or hour.
You was currently caught up in a celebration, the town of Mos Pelgo celebrating freedom from the krayt dragon that was lurking under the tatooine systems sand. Since you and din had so graciously helped the people of Mos Pelgo out, cobb vanth, a friendly local of the village, the role of leader rolling off him. had asked you and din to stay for the celebration.
You and the child wanted to stay, having spend every second in the razor crest was boring. So when the opportunity to spend a night in a safe town where bounty hunters surely wouldn't find you was exciting. But unfortunately a certain beskar wearing mandalorian didn't want to spend another second on the planet. He wanted to leave and continue the usual running away, hiding on planet after planet. But din found it rather hard to say no to the big wide begging eye's of the child and your sickly sweet pleading y/e/c's.
So he gave in, saying that the three of you would participate in the celebration for only a few hours. A few hours turned to three, much to din's dismay. And as the night carried on, the mandalorian stood in a corner of the cantina with his arms crossed, watching you chat up cobb vanth. The man saying something to make you giggle. The beautiful sound making din's heart flutter while at the fact it was cobb making you laugh made a unmistakable rage burn in his chest.
Din didn't like this, he didn't like how friendly the man was being with you. How he flirted with you shamelessly. You took it as the man trying to be friendly but din knew what the man was doing, he saw how Cobbs eye's roamed every inch of you with a little smirk on his face. And as much as din wanted to beat the man for even looking at you like that. He couldn't blame him, for you was a gorgeous woman. But that didn't give cobb the right to gawk at you... You took din's breath away with every beautiful laugh, you had his heart melting with every smile or kind gesture you always offer the man. Helping him tend to his wounds or making sure he's eating enough.
Maker, din was falling hard for you.
But what he didn't know was you was falling even harder for him. You loved the man ever since you started traveling with him all those years ago, way before the child came into the picture. He may be a ruthless, badass skilled warrior in the public eye, feared by all. But to you? He was a sweet tender hearted man. He cared about you, you knew. He was always so protective over you, always making sure your safe or armed whenever he can't be by your side - which was a rare occurrence. You didn't have to see his face to know that under his helmet he was a beautiful man. Because he already shown you his true beauty with every sweet word whispered to you late at night or every fleeting touch, his kindness towards you.
A slight tug at din's leg made him tear his glare off cobb and you and down at the green little child that took a pretty big portion of his heart, you owning the rest. Picking him up din sighs, "what do you want?... hm?" din coos so lowly it was nearly a whisper.
The child gives him a little smile and rests his head on din's shoulder, a sign that the child was tired. "all this excitement has you tired eh?" amused at the little yawn that emitted from it he chuckles. Small babbling was din's reply before the child's eye's flutter shut, falling asleep. Sighing din looks back up, seeing cobb talking you into dancing with him.
"c'mon beautiful! Just one dance!" he cheered happily while you giggle and shake your head, not that you had anything against the poor man. But you didn't want to dance, "just one!" his voice rang through the cantina while the other civilians of Mos Pelgo danced.
"i really should be going... Mando's most likely wanting to leave" you said, using dins nickname knowing that his actual one was reserved for you and him only. Quiet nights on the razor crest when he allowed his true name to roll of your tongue.
Din let's a relieved smile grace his face upon hearing your words, pleased you wanted to leave as well. But cobb was being a persistent man and you finally gave in, having a dance with him.
And din felt his heart aching at the sight of your beaming smile while cobb had his hands all over you. You looked so happy, laughing whenever Cobb twirled you. Din thought in that moment that perhaps you loved the man holding you. The thought had the mandalorian feeling a wave of mixed emotions, angry, sad and insecure.
Why would you waste time loving din when cobb could give you so much? Cobb vanth could give you peace, safety and a permanent home. A face to look at....
What could din give you? A dangerous life of living on the run, fear, and no place to call home. You didn't even know what din looked like, what if you thought him to be ugly? What if you didn't like his big brown eye's or patchy facial hair?
"let's get you to bed...." din muttered to the child while carrying him out the door, stepping outside into tatooine' twin sun's setting. A orange hue cast over the sand place.
You was completely oblivious to his absence, you was to busy trying to talk cobb out of letting you leave. You didn't want to rub off as rude by just walking out the door and leaving, but with how he kept making up excuses to keep you in the cantina that seemed like your last option.
"okay cobb, I should really be going. I've already over stayed my due" you say with a little smile, still dancing with the man, his hand in yours while is other was on your waist. It felt... Off, his touch. It wasn't anything compared to din's warm delicate touches.
"oh c'mon y/n, one more dance!" he laughs joyfully, his breath evident enough he drank more spotchka then needed.
"no - really I've stayed to late, me and Mando need to get the child to bed!" you spoke with a polite smile and try slipping away from cobb, who sighs and let's you free.
"I hate to see you go... It's been a real pleasure meeting you beautiful" he takes your hand in his own and kisses your knuckles. You pull your hand back fast with wide eye's of shock, not liking how wrong his lips felt on your skin. Cobb gives you a confused look until you wipe your hand on your pants, in hopes you'd forget the feeling of his lips on your hand.
"look cobb you're a really nice guy - and I was honored to be a part of the celebration but... I -
" you can stay! Here with me... Ive never felt this way about anyone and I really don't want to watch you go y/n... " he cut you off, stunning you. This conversation taking a turn for the worst. Oh maker you didn't want to hurt the man but your heart belongs to din, not him....
"I can't stay... I belong with the child, with the mandalorian... They are my home cobb. I can't just runaway from them...i love them" you explain carefully, face burning at your confession. For that's the first time you've spoken your love for din aloud.
Cobb looked disappointed, his eyes darting to the floor while he swallowed thickly. Nodding his head, "you better get going then, I don't wanna keep you waiting" his words was short and rushed out as he walks away.
You sigh with relief ready to find din, but as your eyes search the cantina you can't find him. "maker where is he now?" you murmur to yourself and leave the building in search for him. Luckily you spot him loading up the speeder, jogging over to him you offere him some help.
"I've got it" he replied timidly and harsh. Strapping the mandalorian armor he received earlier on the speeder.
You looked at him confused, "what's wrong? You sound bothered?" you ask softly, concerned about the man.
"you shouldn't have stayed so late. I specifically said a hour! You stayed nearly three!" he snaps, roughly strapping stuff to the speeder. You feel a wave of guilt wash over you at keeping him here for so long.
"you should have came got me then... I lost track of time, this is the most relaxed I've felt in months" you whisper, looking down at the sand below you. Your eyes landing on the child who was asleep in the satchel.
"I didn't want to interfere with you and Cobb... You two looked rather relaxed" he grumbled out while finishing up. Standing tall now as he looks at you. You could always decipher his expressions through his body language, and right now you knew he was pissed.
"and what's that suppose to mean?" you retort. Brows furrowed in confusion and frustration. Din only shakes his head while turning away from you. But you wasn't having it, grabbing his shoulder and spinning him around. Your chests was mere inches from touching each other's, as you stared up into his t-shaped visor.
"what's wrong with you din... You act all pissy over me finally letting loose! I mean - you nearly got yourself killed today! I should be the one acting pissed! Do you know how stupid that was of you?!" you snapped, the memories of today crashing into you harshly while you run a hand through your hair stressfully.
Din knew that you was upset with his way of taking out the krayt dragon. Your tearful eye's angry glare fixated on him when he had emerged from it's mouth was more then enough evidence of that.
"y/n I -
"I thought maybe if I let loose tonight and tried forgetting that dumb stunt of yours I'd feel better - perhaps not even try and kill you myself but maker din...." you spoke more calmly eye's falling shut as you let out a deep breath. You felt the tears surface, but refused to let them fall.
"I'm sorry... I know it wasn't my best idea but i needed to do something before any harm was done to you or the child" din said while moving closer to you, gently placing his hand on your cheek. The cool leather a familiar feeling you could never tire of.
"you need to be more careful din... I can't do this without you..." you whisper while your lip trembles. You look up into where you could only believe his eye's would be.
"I'd never ask you too, I'm sorry for scaring you... I'd never leave you cyar'ika" he spoke the last bit in his native tongue. He often called you that word you never quite understood, usually on long days or nights you both spent restless.
"then stop being a reckless jerk" you joke unamused, a hand gently wrapped around the base of his neck. He leans his forehead on yours while chuckling.
"I'll try my best cyar'ika...." he whispers in his deep modulated voice. You feel a warmth spreading through your chest at the sound.
Then, you decide to wrap your arms around his neck. Slowly swaying you both. Din of course stood stiff, unmoving while you slowly try and get him to dance with you. And after a few minutes, his hand slides from your face and rests upon your hips, as he ever so gently starts swaying with you.
The moment was perfect to you, how he held you delicately. His shoulder still resting against yours, chests pressed together. This was din djarin, the tender hearted man who showed you his loving side. Not the mandalorian warrior everyone feared. You let a soft sigh of complete bliss pass through your lips while you bask in this moment of peace, of being held in the arms of the one you loved in a rare moment of silence.
"hey din?..." you spoke up quietly, he hums to let you know he's listening, "what does that word mean? The one you always call me?...." you decide to question him as your curiosity got the best of you.
He smiles under the helmet as his nerves kicks in, he knew you cared about him, just as he cared for you... But the bond between you both was a unspoken thing he wasn't sure you was ready to bring up. But unbeknownst to him, you was more then ready to bring up, you was waiting for him... For you thought he didn't want what you longed for....
"it's mando'a... It means - uh..." he seemed more nervous then you thought he could ever be, this making a smile etch its way on your face. He was adorable... "it can mean... Sweetheart, darling... Beloved." his eye's flutter closed, his heart pounding in his chest while his grip on your hips become more firm.
And your heart was doing flips, a wide smile on your face while you almost became overwhelmed with love. After all this time you had no idea that din was calling you such sweet things. You gently press your palms to the sides of his helmet while placing a small peck to the beskar. His face blazing red beneath the helmet.
"who knew the mandalorian could be so sweet?" you tease him, his nervous chuckle escaped the vocoder. "I love you din... You don't have to say it back if you don't feel the same way but I thought maybe -
"I love you too cyar'ika, always" he stops your ranting while relishing in your loving touch.
But as the sun's began to set lower in the sky din knew that it was time to leave this horrid planet. So he climbs on the speeder and assisted you back on, loving how you held him tightly from behind while he made sure the child was securely set in place. Then you both speed into the desert place, ready to leave tatooine. Even though din hated the place, he found his fondest memory being made here. It would forever hold a special place in his heart.

The way people just dont have Shang-Chi in their radar is beginning to concern me a bit.
Like, I go, "Shang-Chi this and that."
And then its like, "I'm sorry what?"
"The new Marvel movie that's coming out."
"Spiderman?"
Like, I heard Marvel is doing its absolute best NOT to promote the movie, and its just weird and sus to me. This is a marvel asian led movie, it should be everywhere, its important. For a corporation, it would make sense to promote it, if the social motivation is not enough. But its not happening. And its one of the few movies of this phase which actually interests me.
and if you turn to ur left you’ll see the emos
Rex x Fem!Reader
Trigger Warning: Breakup
“We were a perfect match. Maybe that’s why we burned out.”
It started subtly. Rex didn’t call or message as much when he was away. Whereas he used to call every chance he got, you were now lucky to receive a short message saying, “sorry can’t talk, I’m ok.”
No, ‘see you soon’ or ‘I love you’ attached, but you brushed it off thinking, maybe it’s just a long mission or he’s just really busy. Then it leaked into his mannerisms when he was home, he would spend more time are the barracks and fewer times with you. When he was with you, it was awkward and tense. Comfortable silences were replaced with tense ones. Little things that used to seem cute to him, now left him frustrated or annoyed. He used to love how you hummed while you cleaned and how your feet shuffled when you woke up. Now, instead of small smiles, you were met with:
“(Y/N), I’m sorry, but I could really use some quiet.” and “Pick up your feet, the entire building can hear you.”
So, you made the adjustments, no realizing how you stopped feeling completely comfortable around him. And then you realized, the same thing was happening to you. You used to think it was adorable how he stole blankets, and how he didn’t help with dishes because he never learned how. Now, it drove you up the wall. This was how you felt on first dates and when you have important house guests, not how you should feel around the person who you were in love with. Sometimes, it seemed like y’all would argue about nothing. Nights of snippy comments because someone left the light on. When you kissed him goodbye, he didn’t kiss back. Honestly, you didn’t know what happened to the two of you, but nevertheless, you waited for it to blow over.
Then, one fateful night, in an effort to not spend another tense night on the couch, not actually watching the news, y’all agreed to go to 79′s with the rest of the 501st. That’s when it made sense.
The two of you walked in, and when you looked up at him, he had that look of awe that he used to reserve only for you. But now, you watched him throw it across the room at an all too familiar togruta. That’s when you understood. He had fallen in love with someone else, and out of love with you. You spent the entire night deep in unhappy thought, but Rex never noticed- only occasionally ordering you more drinks, not noticing the four other still full glasses in front of you. He was too busy laughing at Ahsoka’s jokes. And God bless, you tried to hate her, but she was so nice and amazing, it was impossible to be mad at her. And it was hard to be mad at Rex for falling for her. So now you were sitting in a booth, just sad.
Finally, you had enough and you asked Fives and Echo to let you out of the booth. They both flashed you looks of concern, but you gave them a small smile of reassurance. You were almost out of the door when Rex finally noticed you left.
“She looked upset- you might wanna check up on her.” Echo suggested, watching the Captain crane his neck around to look for you. “She headed towards the door.”
“Yeah, Yeah, I’ll do that.” With that, he squeezed out of the booth and went out to find you. You were already a block away when he caught up with you.
“(Y/N), what’s wrong, you left by yourself?” He asked, but made no move to grab your hand or hug you like he once might have. You sighed and crossed your arms, putting on a brave face.
“Surprised you noticed. That you came.” You shrugged, it wasn’t snappy or accusatory, but just defeated. Rex knew what was coming.
“Of course, I came. (Y/N), what’s this about?” He was already puffing up for a fight, but you had left the ring a few hours ago.
“Rex you’re not in love with me anymore. It’s obvious. And it’s ok, but please tell me so I can find someone who does love me like you did.” It came out as a plea, and Rex realized what you meant. His muscles tensed up defensively.
“That’s not fair, (Y/N).” Was all he said, he eyes weren’t soft like usual. You shook your head and gave him a stare just as hard.
“No. It’s completely fair.” You started, arms unfolding from your chest do gesture wildly, “Rex, if you’re still completely in love with me- like you were in the beginning- then please, help me work this out. But if not, then it’s unfair for both of us.”
Where there were once soft words and promises of forever, there were crossed arms, harsh words, and shattered promises. Rex knew this and only admitted it by letting his gaze drop to the ground.
“I’m sorry.” It was soft and sincere and for the first time in a while, he actually looked sad to see you go. You just nodded, praying the tears would stay in until you were gone.
“Ok then,” You paused and sniffled, Rex knew it wasn’t his place to wrap his arms around you anymore, but he always hated seeing you cry, “Take care of yourself, Rex.”
Rex watched you walk away for the last time, and just like that, it was over.
Two months later:
You spent quite a few weeks crying over him, but eventually, things got easier. Fives and Echo were the only ones who kept in touch with you, and they checked up on you, but you never saw Rex again. Soon, You started going on dates, or more accurately your best friends forced you on dates. Some of them were ok, and some of them were hilariously bad, but no one was quite like Rex. But you kept going on, and eventually, life was close to normal again- even if your apartment was quieter and colder than it once was.
But occasionally, you would run into some of the older members of the 501st. You would flash a friendly smile and wave, but turn around and walk the other way to avoid an awkward conversation. They would wave back, remembering when their captain was so in love with you that he couldn’t think straight. Then, you realized when you lost Rex, you also lost a lot of amazing friends. Soon inside jokes turned into awkward waves and those turned into pretending you didn’t see them.
And even worse, occasionally you’d catch a glimpse of someone who looked strikingly like Rex and your heart would stop. Then you would realize, this trooper had green armor and a similar haircut. But that didn’t stop the memories of love and laughter of the good times when you felt more love from a man worlds away, but it also tore open the wounds of the bad times, when you felt the loneliest when he was lying right beside you.
After the war:
It might have seemed dramatic, but four months after the breakup, you decided to move. You chose one of the more developed planets in the outer rim and found work rather easily. No more Rex, no more memories, a fresh start, and it went well.
But even then, when the war was over and the Empire rose from its ashes, rumors of the Jedi and the clones swirled and demanded to be heard- even in the outer rim. And every now and then, you couldn’t help but wonder what did happen to Rex, because somewhere in your heart you still loved him and always would.

—CHAPTER TWO: little things
pairing: Javier Peña x f! reader
previous part | next part | masterlist
a/n: a little look back in time, a little insight into what’s going on, a lot of pain and angst but maybe some hope ? these two a easily carving out a place in my heart, I hope y’all are as invested as I am bc there is def more to come
Falling in love with Javier had happened pretty fast.
It wasn’t the exact moment you saw him, but it may as well have been.
There was a gorgeous kind of levity to him as he hid his laughter behind the neck of the bottle of beer dangling so casually from his grip, a beautiful kind of stoicism to him as the mood around the table died off and the blonde man sat beside him pulled himself to his feet, tossed a few bills down and shuddered him with a sturdy hit to the shoulder. He surveyed the crowd out of what seemed to be genuine curiosity, scanning the field just like all the single men seemed to be, but there was a reverence in the delicious color of his deep eyes, something you didn’t know how to quantify as they landed on you. There was a depth to him that words could just never come close to describing.
