Being a semi-inactive (marvel) comics fan is actually the funniest thing sometimes cause like I grew up reading my dad's old comic books where the runs were like 75% complete (if i was lucky) so I'll be sitting here, assuming I know a decent amount about a character only to be BLINDSIDED by something everyone else seems to think is common knowledge

im always saying this
When I tell you I audibly gasped
people don’t like it!?! it’s genuinely some of my favorite art of a lot of the batfamily characters
@vinelark you know what’s up. the art style is half the reason why I constantly reread cass’s batgirl run
petition for tim to steal inherit more of jason's identities since he already got robin and red robin from him
exactly, like this is exactly the ‘don’t yuck my yum’ shit we learned in kindergarten
you don't need to minimize other people's favorite because you have a favorite: it's okay to love damian, you don't need to shit on tim's character/erase his trauma. you can love tim and not shit on jason's run as robin. you can have cass or duke as a favorite and not diminish the other kids relationship with bruce and each other. and on, and on, and on.
I guess no one ever accused the kid literally named Impulse of thinking too hard, but I like how he sees the villain making a motorcycle getaway and was like "it's a real headscratcher. How am I, Bart Allen, grandson of the Flash and Speed Force user going to catch up with her... oh, I know!" and then he steals a car despite not knowing how to drive.
a chill goes down my spine each time these posts begin appearing on my feed
nothing like ao3 being down to remind you what little joy the rest of life brings you
this is the living status for the majority of marvel superheroes 😭 comics, ily
genuinely starting to believe my theory that being handed 'Batman' or 'Amazing Spider-man' makes even the best writers go insane with power and instantly start producing mid to terrible stories for the duration of their run
Superman as a symbol is nice I enjoy him but more importantly Clark Kent as a guy is incredibly funny. Midwesterner who’s nigh indestructible because he’s also from space. Weirdly jacked guy working in an office building who says ope let me sneak right past ya
despite the cass cain heavy apperence this is both a dc and a marvel blogcass cain just happens to be the coolest person ever(and the charcter that got me into comics)always happy to talk about all things comic related!!!(though I admittedly know more about DC)
