Tim has literally no idea what he's talking about. But that's not about sense, that's about spirit
Simple observation I made from reading these comics. DC, stop making their dad an asshole and make him hug them more.
Also, the hugs in these comics:
Tim's hug is not in Red Robin but it's during the run and when Bruce comes back in time.
Cass' hug is weird because they're suicidal freaks who think fighting is therapy. They fought while being drugged, and blew up a brigde. It makes sense for them only.
Jason's first hug (Outlaws) is after he tries to apologize for his crimes and Bruce refuses to let him to do it, because his boy is innocent for him 🥺 (and then, they fucked it up with Ethiopia because they cannot let them have nice things 🙄). The second one (Red Hood & Arsenal) is started by Jason, who is just very happy to see that Bruce is alive, even if he has lost his memory.

“liking something in fiction doesn’t mean you condone it in real life” but instead of dark fanfiction tropes it’s about liking jeeves and wooster while being a socialist
in my ideal world there was a second yj98 spinoff comic that ran in 2003 called "saint elias" that is gotham academy-esque and followed the adventures of newly-humanified greta and recently-retired anita as they joined saint elias school for girls alongside cissie and traya
I am definitely going to be posting more about this >:) potentially even with a fic series if I can get my shit together heart emoji

don't make me a killer!
the dialogue around babs and her disability is so cooked because if there was some understanding that disabled people with a mobility aid — whether it be a chair, a frame, a walking stick, a scooter, prosthesis, whatever — aren’t “trapped” by the devices designed to help them navigate the world we wouldn’t be stuck having the same reductive conversations. kim yale and john ostrander reintroduced babs as a disabled woman who took pride in her intelligence and abilities and saw her wheelchair as a means of reclaiming her independence and autonomy. she removes the handles on the chair because no one, whether it be her father or batman or darkseid, gets to push her around. taking that from her is an act of violence, whether ur tom taylor who can’t envision a world where disabled people are respected and capable unless they are magically cured, or a random online who thinks stealing the wheels off someone’s wheelchair is funny
despite the cass cain heavy apperence this is both a dc and a marvel blogcass cain just happens to be the coolest person ever(and the charcter that got me into comics)always happy to talk about all things comic related!!!(though I admittedly know more about DC)
