Sonic, what’s the cutest thing Shadow’s ever done so far, and vice versa?

When we first started dating, it took a while to transition from rivals to, heh… boyfriends. Shadow and me got into a fight, you know, the usual, and he was calling me dumb and pathetic and all that jazz. Then afterwards, he kind of panicked and started apologising to me. He thought he hurt my feelings! I was like, dude, don’t stop insulting me just ‘cause we’re dating! But it was sweet how worried he got.

… he wags his tail when he sees me. Every time. We live together, and he still does it. It makes me wanna punch him…

Why you should read this: it starts with the simple plot idea of "what if Sonic was the one to have found Shadow first in the lab" and then becomes an absolute masterpiece as Shadow discovers what is it like to actually be treated as a real being with feelings and what it is like to live life and he learns it side by side with Sonic and the help of the Wachowski family while the events of the Movie takes place differently. Not gonna lie its angsty and dark and so full of love your heart will explode - and you should really be mindful of the tags - but it's so worth it I've harassed the author with comments about how amazing this was for the past two days and you should do the same
