Are you ever just randomly scrolling and get reminded that hey, Tech is kinda dead! I still think they’ll bring him back- but the fact that in the show, everyone thinks he’s gone. And it’s not denial!! It’s that I’ve consumed so much fan content on here; fics of his rescue, seen him constantly through great fanart, it’s like he never left. And then I’ll see someone mention the fall again and it’s like- Oh. There is actually a very real possibility he is dead.

But I will die on the Tech lives hill cause us believers are gonna have one of the best “I told you so” moments in the fandom I guarantee it

So I was thinking about CX-2 (Tech’s) memory

Like he has all of his old skills like encryption and flying a ship but didn’t remember the location to Pabu

But there are those moments of hesitation around Omega and Phee, deja vu perhaps…

And head trauma from The Fall could have caused most of this amnesia

But… what if Hemlock did something to Tech like what the capitol did to Peeta in Mockingjay?

Where they twisted his good memories so when he saw Katniss he wanted to kill her

…And that also got me thinking of a Real or Not Real interaction between Tech and Phee…
