Keefe: that's what family is
Keefe: people who can't kill you because they will be the first ones questioned
Sophie: no offense but your family is already killing you
Dex: only his mom at least
Sophie: no, one time cassius dropped him on his head as a baby
Dex: maybe it was an accident..........
Keefe: Have you met him?
Tam: well..... that explains a lot
Thinking about Jason Grace, a kid who fought for approvl for a parent he never really knew yet still feared. Felt like he couldn’t do anything without his father, praying to him for power. Boy who died and his father barely cared, boy who DIED FOR THE GODS and ultimately died for nothing, STILL not getting tbe one thing he wanted for most of his life. Jason Grace is really a sixteen year old kid isn’t he? Because god knows I felt the same. God knows Jason Grace. I know. i know.
Oh. My. Gods. The parallel hereee maybe im going crazy but humor me
In the last olympian the last line of chapter 22 is "it was pretty much the best underwater kiss of all time"
And in the chalice of the gods the chapter name of chapter 35 is "pretty much the best goodnight kiss of all time"
Since an underwater kiss is smth not normal ppl can do (sadly) it tells us that percy jackson will still not have a 'normal' life but since this was the last line it tells us that it's the end of an era (the pjo series)
A goodnight kiss is seemingly normal and it being used in a chapter title signifies that it is not the end and this time it's for more personal and normal stuff
Maybe im reading to much into this , maybe im just stating the obvious and i know that rick is going to write 2 more books but i just had to get it out of my mind
What book are you currently reading? How are you liking it? What book are you going to read next?
Honestly im not currently reading any book i just finished reading six of crows and watching the shadow and bone show but i liked soc a lot and im going to read king of scars and rule of the wolves
“that meme is dead” i’ve had some of these sitting in my camera roll since october please don’t mention it 😭
No, but keefe was the only one holding sophitz together in legacy ?????????
He wasn't even in the relationship
Fitz: I'm playing a new drinking game
Fitz: it's called everytime I'm depressed, I take a drink
Dex: that game exists, It's called alcoholism.
It still gives me the icks that oralie just agreed to give up her child to the black swan, like no shade on them or anything but im not going to be comfortable with the knowledge that my child is probably going to be experimented on and face a LOT of trauma.
And she just told sophie "I did it because it was the only way I could ever have a child" like excuse me!!??! This a job that requires a lot of responsibility not something you can just check off from you to - do list.
And we know she was a councilor at that time and she probably wasn't resigning soon so she knew that sophie would be matchless
Oralie definitely deserves the way sophie is acting towards her (which isn't even that extreme)
in case you need a reminder of where the crows ended up:
kaz- still a crime boss. he needs to explore other career opportunities
wylan- businessman
jesper- stock bro and wylan's sugar baby
inej- CRIME-FIGHTING PIRATE VIGILANTE WHERE IS HER BOOK
matthias- he's dead lol (sobbing)
nina- queen of fjerda. queen of fjerda. we should have seen this coming.
What happened to tinker in the past .... do we get to know more about her backstory in the 10th book ?????? Do dex and her become good friends ??? Do they have competitions in who can builda better gadget???? I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP
If they have competitions then tinker prolly lets dex win cause he's competitive
Elysian probably receives the souls and abilities of dead elves.
Think about it like Elysian is probably who gave all the elves their power so it would make sense if it takes it back after elves die...
Keefe's ability detecting power now makes some sense
