Starting to run out of flower pictures ...wish spring was here soon could use some colours irl
So ive finally realised what was making my stitches all wonky when knitting colorwork!! ...but only after having already finished the first mitten... 🫠
i could redo it esp since its too big for me anyway but i already reknit it onced in hope ill be smaller so now im just sick of this pattern lmao
Cute kitty!! Also I empathize, congrats on the pregnancy ❤️ becoming a mom is a wonderful journey.
Introducing one of the main reasons I have been unable to get any knitting or projects finished. This little rascal came into our lives back in January. Her name is Evie and she is about 12 weeks old. She refuses to let me knit without being involved in someway. Even as I type this she is happily gnawing on my laptop.
All the same we love her and are so glad she came into our lives.
The second reason I have been delayed, is I am currently almost 12 weeks pregnant. So I have been quick sick with first trimester yuckies, and often really only have the energy to either nap or watch tv.
Now that I am on the up and up, I am hoping to at least get these mittens finished! I do have a massive pile of sewing projects and knitting projects just waiting to get started on.

for that rare moment my kids are all asleep at the same time 📚🐛🌱
I have this card from the 90s
I've done quite a few other Pokemon as well, Chinchou happened just because I bought some glowing yarn and wanted to make a Pokemon that glows. Ditto to use the leftover plush yarn from Espeon. Gengar, Drifloon and Mimikyu were Halloween projects but I also made Drif and Mimi as Pokemon Sleep predictions! Snom was a prediction too, but sadly did not happen 🥲
I thought I'd make a handful of mittens for the winter, but I've been so happy with one pair I made awhile ago that I've just never bothered. Took awhile to convince myself, but I finally made another pair! I really like these simple ribbed gloves because the thumb gusset has a nice clean increase section to continue the rib which looks quite nice. This yarn is an alpaca and silk mix, so it's nice and warm with a bit of sheen and I won't have to worry about the alpaca stretching out over time!
