Soooo….

I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it, Lance Stroll is an enigma. He’s a good driver who doesn’t have the confidence he once held. And in a sport like this, confidence is everything. His driving style is precise, driven, and he’s a good defender when he has a good enough car to do so. He may not open himself up to the media as much as he used to but that’s the consequences of how shitty the media treated him in the first place.

literally begging everyone to watch an interview given by baby lance, whether it be 11 year old ferrari junior lance or 18 year old williams rookie lance and understand that he wasn’t always this way, always this reserved and closed off and unexpressive. the media has beaten him black and blue and scrutinised every little thing he says and used any excuse they can to say that he is clearly a spoilt brat who will never amount to anything.

he gives them nothing because they can't make anything out of nothing. but of course they do it anyway, they make him out to be someone who thinks he's 'above it all' 'tired of the sport' 'entitled little shit' when in reality he loves F1 with all he has and hides himself in a protective shell of quiet indifference to try to avoid media scrutinisation.

mark webber once said (in his book) that fernando alonso was a very shy and reserved person in reality. yet when he teamed up with lance, he took on the brunt of the media duties specifically because he knew lance struggled with them.

lance isn't spoilt, entitled, or bored of f1 because he doesn’t express much in press conferences. he's simply incredibly introverted and has been worn down over the years by the constant scrutinisation he has been subjected to by the media.

So….. after bits of writers block I can proudly say three chapters being posted today… two for my lance series and one for a completely different series…. Who to thank for the inspiration this is who….

I swear my relatives make me wanna commit crimes.:.. because what do you mean your girlfriend is coming to dinner with her four kids….. Okay so I get discharged tomorrow... yayyy but until then.. have some thoughts about the stories I was meant to post but can't because I only have my phone (drafts are in a notebook at home).

I kind of wanna redo the lance story and change the face claim.... The Lewis one shot is not social media-ing and may become a written thing. . .

I'm convinced that if i wheeze hard enough tiktok won't go bye-bye (Joe burrow and Sabrina Carpenter edits keep me alive) but in reality it just makes the doctor want to keep me in the hospital longer (Debt finna taste yummy)
