I'm a huge fan of how they framed Joel's hospital fight. The gunshots are muted and the music is somber. Yeah, Joel saved Ellie, but he's not framed as the good guy as he continued to run through that hospital and kill everyone in sight. He may have saved his world but he screwed over everyone else.
