I believe the stories of Christoper Kapessa (13) and Shukri Abdi (12) need to be shared everywhere. These two beautiful children were murdered in the U.K. by racist bullies from their schools a month apart in 2019.
Shukri came to this country in 2017 as a Somali refugee and was bullied relentlessly at her school - Hazel Wood High School formerly known as Broad Oak High School (Greater Manchester). If you’re wondering why their name changed it’s because they tried to rebrand after her death. Shukri’s mother had told the school many times that her daughter was being bullied with the bullies sometimes following them home. The school REFUSED to intervene. Shukri was pushed into traffic on one occasion but was lucky to get out in time. Her murder: Shukri was forced into a river by these same bullies; they knew she could not swim. They taunted and laughed as she drowned. Police closed the case almost immediately, ignoring key witness accounts and substantial evidence that showed a pattern of racial abuse and threats from Shukri’s murderers.
Similarly, Christopher was also pushed into a river in South Wales where he lived. Christoper could not swim either and his killers watched him drown. CPS believed there was sufficient evidence that pointed to Christoper being pushed into the river yet they refused to prosecute his murderers. This case was closed just as soon as it was opened because his murderers were deemed ‘mature’ with ‘good school records.’
These cases received little to no exposure and the police helped to protect these children’s murderers. Who’s story has also been hidden? If the children in these areas are racially abusing and murdering black children so openly, what else is going on?
Here are some petitions you can sign which demand justice for Christoper and Shukri.

The story behind The Laundress.
Well this is just disgusting and terrifying and reprehensible all rolled into one.
Are we all going to forget on Criminal Minds season 8, episode 4 that Alex got all up in Spencer's business like it was her's?
Some people out here really being like, "I'm so sorry I was racist. I was just having a bad day."
Hi Tumblr
The things happening over in america are horrendous, but also making way for changes for the better. They’re making the whole world have a discussion about racism still woven into our societies.
But please. It’s pride month. My country, my people need this to be on the lips of the world.
