had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing
did i seriously just read a news article saying the UK population is too "woke" to fight in wars since apparently trans people exist, women exist and therefore it just isn't fair on the white males who are now being discriminated against? This is utter bullshit my man. You look at 160 white men being denied because the military already has enough white men nd say "ooh noo it's because we're too woke!" get over urself. you can't start complaining that "too many Andrews and Craigs are getting their dreams crushed" when the waiting list for gender-affirming surgery is years long.
the UK's 'anti-BDS' boycott bill is returning to parliament for a third reading and vote Wednesday 10th of January.
this proposed law is not aimed at individuals, it would be impossible to stop people from boycotting, but instead targets public bodies like universities, public sectors, and councils in the UK. this would prevent public bodies from making ethical choices about where they want to invest their employee's pension funds. e.g. pension funds could be invested into companies that make arms for countries committing genocide.
the anti-boycott bill explicitly mentions Israel, trying to give them protection from public body boycotts as well as undermine the Palestinian led campaign for boycotting. it's disgusting and disgraceful.

i love it when characters are unfair, actually. i love it when they’re uncouth and cranky and hypocritical, i love it when they have cognitive dissonances, i love it when they make good and bad choices for the wrong reasons. i love when they’re short to anger and hard to understand. i love it when they’ve destroyed themselves for nothing but can’t even see either part of it yet. i love it when they’re messy and selfish and bad at communicating. i love it when they get convinced of their own ego and stuck in a feedback loop regarding their own warped paranoia. i love it when characters actively make their lives unknowingly harder for themselves. i love it when characters don’t know they’re in a story. i love it when characters are like real people
I haven’t drawn much in a long time, every time I do I just kind of stare at it
also I keep pressing my back button on my mouse and its like, irritating me.
