Anakin Skywalker was a dad to Ahsoka before Luke and Leia were even conceived so I will not sit here and hear this BS talk about “Luke and Leia are the only ones that can bring out the Anakin in Vader.” No. Shut up. You don’t know shit. If that’s what you think you’d have to be more stupid than Jar Jar. She was his first kid for Kriff’s sake!

I would personally disagree with the sentiment that TCW is the worst interpretation of Anakin.

I understand the point. But, I feel like clone wars can act as a way of looking at Anakin from an outside perspective. The rest of these characters don’t see Anakin suffering until it’s too late we aren’t seeing what a mess he is how fragile he is how his fear is consuming him.

Ahsokas just happy to see him again, Obi-wan is growing tired and wearing thin these are things we see the most in that final season.

Season seven almost acts as how Ahsoka saw Anakin. Strong, Quippy, Always looking out for the little guy.

To her the Anakin she left was just as whole and alive when she returned.

we know that’s untrue but that’s what she sees.

I understand that the show itself probably wasn’t reading in to deep and was using nostalgia off of the previous seasons to drive season seven.

but. I choose to look at it in a sadder way a way that allows for that version character to exist.

The clone wars is about Ahsoka and Rex at the end of the day. And to them, Anakin never changed.

I refuse to believe that no one saw the bad vibes on that man.

star wars rebel AU

so… Star Wars is one of those things where I love it so much because of the way the story turned out, but at the same time I have a million AUs for how I also wish it could have gone.

I-I just really want one where Anakin doesn’t turn/turns back early and ends up as a leader of the Rebel Alliance (the Jedi Order having still been destroyed), while Padme remains on Coruscant as a senate spy to leak intel to the rebels. of course, they’re separated to the public eye, and end up with one twin each… so ~*~THE SPOILER ~*~ is still a spoiler for Luke, it just happens earlier haha. and I love the potential dynamic of switching the twins around… X)
