I got this fold-out flyer in 1988, before the movie opened (like a lot of promo material, it calls the movie a “hit” before anyone ever saw it).  I can’t remember exactly where it came from.  I think it was free in a movie theater.

I usually stay out of discourse too but this fandom has so much discourse it's hard to ignore that this point tbh, honestly when I joined the fandom I didn't think there would be discourse especially with ships since I'm in some fandoms that have shipping wars and anti shippers but it's not as bad as the antis in this fandom.

But this fandom has lead me to make friends and that's the best part for me, the anti part is so hateful but the other part is so caring and supportive and honestly this is the best fandom I've been in for a long time considering how nice it is aside from the horrible people in it.

Okay so basically this is a rant about the antis.

So I'm getting real annoyed with antis since most of these antis seem to ship Beetlejuice X Adam and that's fine so to their logic if Lydia was a dude, they would probably ship it and say it's okay because he would one of their "Precious UwU soft yaoi Bois" because we all know most of them are fujoshi which are fucking disgusting.

Fyi: Fujoshi are girls who fetishize gay men and alot of the time ship two guys together for the perpose of them being gay and having a usually very sexual relationship and these fujoshi write "lemons" of these two male characters because all they seem to think that gay men only exist for their fantasies of their OTP
