i love fucking kilgarrah so much but this sounds so LOGICAL.

while Morgana and Mordred are ultimately the outright cause of most of Camelot’s suffering, Kilgarrah is the real villain of the show, because he was the one who manipulated Merlin into distrusting them and trying to stop them at all costs, therefore turning them towards evil because they had nowhere else to go. if Merlin hadn’t listened to Kilgarrah and had instead reached out to either of them and helped them with their struggles, Morgana wouldn’t have turned evil and Mordred would have been reasonable. it was Kilgarrah’s certainty in the matter that made Merlin paranoid and unable to trust anyone. in this essay, i will 

paul dano’s riddler is probably the best one fucking ever. he had me gripping my chair hunched over waiting to see what would happened next. he freaked me the fuck out at times. and at times that silly little voice made me laugh. but he played him so fucking well he did an incredible job. i’m truly obsessed and i cant wait to see it again with my friend.
