Word Count:2800+
Request: “with steve, reader and steve are close friends and hanging out at reader’s house when reader accidentally opens up about being insecure and steve comforts and then maybe a little nsfw to really prove it to them…” -Anon
A/N: Aight! I’m starting to work on my requests, so if you sent one in I should be getting to it soon! I haven’t had a chance to look through all of them yet, and I’m going from the bottom up! I hope you all enjoy this one! I kind of tapped into my own insecurities and used them a little bit. Not a whole lot of nsfw though so I hope you don’t mine. Let me know what you think!! Enjoy my lovelies! ♥♥

“You’re all out of pop.”
Y/N looked up over the back of her couch to where Steve stood, staring into the fridge with a frustrated scowl on his face. She couldn’t stop the soft giggle at the pout, partly resembling a dejected toddler that was denied his cookie. Or soda in the case. She shook her head with a wide grin and turned back to her book.
“Well, then add it to the list. I’ll get it when I go to the store tomorrow.”

I have been having an argument with a friend and he says that Marvel is for guys, please help me prove to him that there are lots of women who like Marvel!
my favorite Millennial Thing™ is when a group of us are standing around and talking and someone asks a question that no one knows the answer to and suddenly it’s a race to get out your phone and google it and be the first to know, and then someone starts reading the Wikipedia article about the thing aloud to everyone else, and what started as a casual conversation is now A Learning Opportunity and we all walk away a little more knowledgeable about a random topic
Like, Boomers hate when we do that, but I think it’s one of the best things about us.
So long as we have internet or a cell signal, all of the world’s collective knowledge is at our fingertips, and damned if we aren’t going to use it.
can we please stop reblogging that post about david bowie being a p-dophile because he supposedly slept with an underage groupie
the groupie, lori mattix, said in an interview with thrillist that she lost her virginity to him in 1973 when she was 15. but in an earlier interview with paul trynka, she claimed it happened in october 1972 when she was only 14. she also completely changed the narrative, first saying she snuck into his hotel room and later deciding he approached her at a restaurant.
also, according to another ex-groupie, she was confirmed in a relationship with jimmy page in the summer of 1972, well before bowie ever toured in california, where she lived.
he was pretty vocal about his stance against p-dophilia as he wrote “shopping for girls” about child trafficking in thailand, threatened to fire his drummer for sending teenage girls to his hotel room, and refused to perform the kiss scene written into the movie labyrinth because jennifer connelly was 14 at the time.
its good to fact check before spreading accusations as serious as this, especially about an activist who campaigned against racism against aboriginal people in australia, openly criticized MTV for not playing music videos by black artists, and, with his wife iman, donated millions of dollars to various human rights organizations in the third world.

I’ve been watching all of the interviews Gal Gadot has done for Wonder Woman and I keep seeing her standing while everyone else is sitting. At first I was confused but then I realized she must have hurt her back carrying the entire DCEU.
“Those poor boys”
“She deserves to be punished too.”
“I’m not saying I support rape, but-”
“Sorry to say - she deserved it.”
“She put herself in harm’s way”
“But if she was fingered, then that’s not rape.”
“She ruined their lives.”
