They're so grown up
From junior worlds to senior worlds 🥺
Basically, how I believe some figure skaters would be as parents.
Ilia Malinin
- I feel like he wouldn't want his kids to skate because of the pressure he feels from the media, and there would be an even bigger expectation for them as their dad is the 'Quadgod'.
- He would be really caring and involved in his kids' lives, I feel like he has at least two kids, and he supports them in whatever sports or hobbies they do.
- He does teach them how to skateboard, though.
Mikhail Shaidorov
- Did someone say girl dad?
- Seriously, I feel like Misha has 3 girls, and they are his whole world.
- He does teach them how to skate but doesn't want them competing. All he wants is a quiet life in Almaty with his family, away from the media.
Alexandra Ignatova
- Sasha has stated in interviews how she's excited about having kids, and I believe she would be an excellent mum.
- Those kids will have a dog each and will know how to ice skate by the time they are 3.
Makar Ignatov
- He has said in an interview that he is ready for kids but would be scared if he had daughters because he won't be able to protect them when they are older.
- Very overprotective but not in a suffocating way.
- Wants them to skate but won't push them to compete if they don't want to.
Junhwan Cha
- Another girl dad. He has twin girls who are an exact copy of him.
- Takes them out on adventures to explore the local nature and helps them collect leaves and flowers.
Yuma Kagiyama
- Only has one kid and is so supportive of them.
- I feel like he would encourage them to learn to skate, and he would coach them if they wanted to compete. He would be absolutely terrified of them injuring themselves, though.
Amber Glenn
- She is the most caring and supportive parent ever.
- Anything that her kids want to do, hobbies and sports, she will be making sure that they are able to do the best they can.
Dennis Vasiljevs
- Has one girl and one boy.
- Teaches them at least two of the many languages he knows.
- Both of his kids have his hair, so if he grows it out, they all match by putting it in a ponytail.
I personally think that Misha and Jun should be able to kill Grassl and any ISU judge they want
happy 2025. here’s my stupid bingo card of stupid figure skating predictions for the year.
Could you do more Jun and ilia head cannons?
Ilia Malinin
- He choreographs one of your gala performances to Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez.
- Sometimes, he sneaks up behind you and hugs you from behind with his arms around your neck. Especially if you are busy talking to someone when he wants your attention.
- Will spoil you if you get your period. He drops whatever he is doing to make you a hot water bottle for your cramps and will cuddle you whilst massaging your stomach area.
- He takes you as his plus one to any awards shows he is invited to and matches his tie to the colour of your outfit.
Junhwan Cha
- BEAR HUGS!!!! He wraps his arms around your neck whilst you bury your face in his chest. He uses this to calm himself down if he gets stressed.
- He helps pick out your outfits because he clearly has an amazing fashion sense.
- Spending a chill evening with him, listening to shared playlists that took way too long for you both to make whilst cooking together.
- After he has a bad skate, he comes back to the hotel room and lets you hold him while lying on the bed with his face in your chest.
his tuoy
KIMI IS ON POLE?????
HOLY SHIT LETS FUCKING GOOOO
THE BEST DAY EVER HOLY SHIT
oh to be standing in front of the statue of nike, goddess of victory, as an olympian..
- Such a cutie, his face lights up everything he sees you.
- Cuddlebug. Will cuddle or hug you anytime, anywhere. Buries his face into the crook of your neck.
- You are definitely the same height or taller than him. This leads to putting snacks on the top shelf, so he has to ask you for help and using his shoulder or head as an armrest.
- If, somehow, you are smaller than him, (me), he will LOVE it. Honestly, he loves resting his head on your shoulder when you're standing in front of him.
- Being his personal cheerleader at competitions by either hyping him up or just being beside him to calm his nerves.
- Since he can be quite shy, you speak up for him or join him in places he isn't familiar with.
Just a short one before I stress over the grand prix finals.
I don't know how I'm going to cope this weekend.
Either I need very clear instructions of how to act or do something, or I don't want any instructions at all
do you hate being told what to do?
