Hey, I absolutely love your work and your short stories and I always think they are so sweet and they never fail to make me smile. 🥰 I was wondering if it was possible to request one with Hunter and he braids his S/O’s hair.

Hunter never really did much with his hair. The bandana seemed to work well and he never grew it out too long. He loved your hair though. He loved the way it felt and smelled. He loved watching you play with it.

You had already been awake for awhile and sighed to yourself, thinking you might as well just pull your hair back into a bun again.

"What is it," Hunter asked, looking over to you as he finished his ration bar.

You shrugged. "I'm trying to figure out how I want this to look."

"Want me to give it a go?"

"Really?" You turned and looked at him. He was completely serious. You shrugged and handed him the brush.

Hunter moved the brush through your hair a few times, loving the feeling beneath his fingertips.

"How about a braid," he asked.

You had tried braiding each other's hair before just for fun and you could see the glimmer in his eye as he clearly remembered that night too. You nodded and he got to work separating your hair into strands. Hunter took his time. There was something about the way he worked that made you feel safe and seen. Every so often he would leave a kiss next to your ear or along your neck. When he got to the end of the braid, he tied it off and peppered kisses on your face. He rarely did that and only ever when you were alone, but you loved his more playful side and found joy in being the person he could really let his guard down around.

He wrapped his arms around you. "You look perfect, mesh'la."

"Thanks to you," you replied.

"No," he assured, "You always look perfect."
