When a unicorn can't sleep

Summary:Leola can't sleep so her father, Aaravos helps tire her using his favorite method.

{sorry it's so short this took like a week and a half to write}

“goodnight my little unicorn” Aaravos said to his daughter as he tucked her in and walked out of her bedroom.”goodnight daddy” A few hours passed by, and she still couldn’t sleep she looked at the clock on her bedside table “11:00”.Leola couldn’t believe she had been struggling to sleep for 3 hours straight.

Leola looked for her dad, after a few minutes of looking she realized “the study” she walked towards the study were he spent most of his time.She opened the door “daddy?” she called out.The elf in question was sitting at a table reading a book, but he stopped when he saw his daughter standing in the doorway “Leola what's wrong? come’ere”.She walked over to him, and he sat her on his lap.”Now why are you up so late, little missy?” he asked, poking her belly as he did “dahahaddy stahahp i cahahn’t  slahaheep”she said giggling she as did.

He stopped “can’t sleep huh” “no” she said he thought for a moment “how to tire her out” then he got an idea.He started to poke at her belly again this time at her sides too, she giggled and squirmed “dahahaddy noahahoooo” “no what I’m not doing anything” he teased her.”what’s so funny, my unicorn?” he asked fully aware of what he was doing, “iahaht ti- EKKKK DaHaHaDdY NOAHAHT THAHAHRE” she screamed as he tickled her bellybutton.He stopped 5 minutes later (which felt like 5 hours to poor Leola) he cleaned up his office and carried her to bed “[yawn] hey daddy?” she asked half asleep.”yes unicorn” she smiled “can i sleep with you?” he looked down and smiled at her. A few minutes later, Leola laid over her dad’s back as they both slept.

How do you draw troll children so well???

A lot of practice, also reference! IMO drawing troll kids isn't too bad when you realize they are just cuter, softer, tinier versions of an adult. And I'm still learning how to get it right so I still lack consistency when I'm drawing them, and that's ok haha.

Ivy STILL isn't final but I'm drawing her more to get her right. Her little self has bigger and rounder eyes, bigger ears, button nose, scruffy hair. She sort of grows into those features as an adult, but as a little baby she is so round and squishable :3 It IS tricky drawing trolls as children but I feel the more you draw them the easier it gets. But looking back at this art I do see things that could change, like her hairstyle and maybe exaggerating the features more.
