Ageless blogs & minors, DNI!
Probably the stupidest post I'll ever make (might end up deleting this later), but here we go!
Is it weird/wrong to make &/or like Malleus x reader fanfics? Especially of the nsfw variety? Lemme explain.
If the translations from Lilia's farewell party in ep. 7 are accurate (PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong), Malleus isn't an adult yet? He's currently 178 years old & dragon fae must be 1,000 years old to be considered an adult( both according to Lilia). Again, PLEASE let me know if this information is incorrect. I'd hate to spread misinformation.
The point of me bringing this up is that Idk if I should make Malleus x reader fanfics if he's not an adult (in terms of dragon fae kind). Yeah, he looks like an adult & acts like one (even if immature at times), but is it weird to make romantic &/or sexual fanfics of him? I'm confused & I hate that I'm overthinking this.
To anyone who's at least 18 yrs. old, I'd love to hear your guys' input on this matter. It's probably really stupid of me to think about this (most likely is & I'm sorry for that), but I'd rather ask than to dwell on it for so long.
I honestly love this! It puts me in a good mood as I'm starting my winter intersession classes.
In which Grim's bragging causes the whole school to become aware of (Y/n)'s amazing cooking skills — to the point where everyone wants to try her cooking now.
Request by @azureflame.
"(Y/n) always cooks for me! And her food is delicious, too!"
Grim had his chest puffed out when Ace and Deuce leaned across the table to take in the delicious smell wafting over to them. Their eyes were glossed over, and they looked like mindless zombies when they were about to instinctively grab the lunch box he held in his paws. Luckily, the cat monster managed to jump out of their way before they could steal his lunch.
That's when the duo snapped out of their trances again, being pulled back into reality by the loud chattering and noises within the cafeteria.
Ace looked down at his stomach to find it rumbling, which didn't go away when he looked at the dreary cafeteria food. His eyebrows furrowed in exasperation, he cried out, "(Y/n) makes you food, Grim?"
The cat monster nodded in happiness as he pulled out a fork you had given him and threw it over his head. As if he would ever use cutlery with these paws of his. Instead, he grabbed the entire box and dug his face into it, causing his two Heartslabyul friends to shy away in disgust. "Yeah! She always says I have to eat a lot if I want to become the greatest mage of all one day!" he murmured after he had finished the rice with tuna. Yet, green bits of vegetables remained, and he eyed them in dismay. "Until then, I have to eat my daily portions of broccoli..."
A fond smile appeared on Deuce's face. "My mom always made me eat broccoli, too..."
Ace punched Deuce's shoulder before raising his hands into the air proudly. "Deuce and I are big boys now." Then, he sent Grim a sly grin and crossed his arms. "No one is forcing us to eat vegetables."
Deuce let out a huff, rolling his eyes. "Riddle always tells you to eat your carrots though—"
"Shut up. Grim doesn't need to know that," Ace hissed while whacking Deuce over the head. As the blue-haired teen rubbed his head in pain, his other friend turned to the cat monster again, the arrogant grin quickly having dissolved into something akin to desperation. "Anyway, can we try her cooking? Just out of curiosity, of course."
Grim, after having swallowed the broccoli, nodded. "Sure! I'm sure she'll whip something up for you two easily."
"Count us in."
The three boys slowly turned their heads into the direction where that voice had come from, only to find all the dorm leaders and standing by the end of their table, all of their eyes focused on the cat monster and the empty lunch box in his paws. Immediately, panic became evident in the three first-years' eyes, all of them fearing that they would be punished for some misdemeanor again.
"Huh—?" Grim choked out nervously. "When did you guys get here?"
Leona waved him off and yawned. "I'm not sure if the herbivore's food is better than what Ruggie usually gets me, but if meat is involved, then I'm in," he murmured, not waiting for a reply before he turned around and returned to his table, where he put plugs into his twitching ears before nestling his head into his arms to take a nap.
"But—" the cat monster tried to protest, but was cut off by another dorm leader.
"Are her tarts as good as Trey's?" Riddle asked with a quirked eyebrow.
Cater's eyes shone in excitement as he turned to his dorm leader and grabbed him by the shoulders. "I can see it happening already: The Great Bakeoff: Twisted Wonderland Edition!" he cried out in happiness before turning around and dragging Riddle away. "Oh— that's gonna bring in so many views!"
Grim's ears were starting to hurt with how many people were talking at once, and none of them seemed to pay him any attention, too! So this must be how you felt all the time when spending time with Deuce, Ace, and him.
"Would she be interest in working at the Mostro Lounge as a cook?" Azul asked with a little grin on his face, already counting the Madol he would make in his head.
Grim bared his teeth at him. "Back off, she's my cook!"
"I pay well."
Grim's aggressiveness immediately vanished and was replaced by a smile. "Alright, you can have her!"
"Oh— oh!" Kalim butted in and took the cat's paws into his. "Do you think she can make curry?"
"I think so—"
Squeals of excitement escaped Kalim's lips. "What splendid news! Please ask her to make me something, too. But put a lot of spices into it! I don't like bland food... and a lot of people from the other dorms tend to only add salt and pepper to their food, sadly."
Vil tilted his head to the side. "How about smoothies?" he asked, to which Grim couldn't help but nod in disgust. So many times had he tried your weight-loss smoothies, but nothing could beat regular tuna. The Pomefiore dorm leader seemed satisfied with his answer. "Add me to the list of orders, please."
"Wait, it's a list already—?" A frustrated huff escaped the cat's throat. "Help, I can't keep track of everything!"
"Don't worry, I got the whole conversation recorded. I can send it to you later," it came from the floating tablet, Idia's frail voice ringing out from the speakers. "As for me... c-could (Y/n) make me... make me..." He trailed off, the gap growing longer and longer as he tried to think of something. Yet, when his mind became completely blank, he cried out in defeat and embarrassment. "By the Great Seven, why must I always be like this when ordering?!"
When Malleus stepped up behind Grim, the cat monster felt every hair on his body stand up in something akin to fear. "If I may," Malleus began, his large shadow looming over the shaking cat, "can I ask for my Child of Man to make me something sweet?"
That was enough — too many people trying to talk to him at once. A scowl on his face, Grim jumped up from his seat and climbed onto the table to wave his short arms around in the air. Much to his luck, he was able to draw everyone's attention, causing them to quiet down and look at him expectantly. Taking a deep breath, Grim began, "You know what." A mischievous smile made it's way to his lips. "You can all get your food— for a certain price."
"How many Madol do you want?" Azul asked while pushing his glasses up.
The grin on the cat monster's face grew at that question. "No, no. The great Grim doesn't deal in Madol," he exclaimed and clapped his hands together. "He deals in tuna cans!"
Another thing to add that others have noticed: Malleus's voice isn't distorted like how the OB gang's voices were.
Malleus OB theory and commentary
So I don’t think malleus has fully OB yet
Because, from what I’ve seen, he was still in control of himself.
He was controlling the magic and the spells and we don’t see the OB creature behind him.
He hasn’t fully let him emotions run wild yet
So, for sure, there’s more phases to his OB
Omg! Thank you so much for this! I love it!
Well since requests are open, may I request prompts 2 & 8 with Yandere Malleus? He courts her & asks if she wants to be his queen, to which she says yes. He's ecstatic about this, but he later learns that this was because she was scared of him hurting anyone, especially her friends.
You could never get used to this. Not really. As flattering as it was to have countless of dresses and jewelry right under your fingertips, it came with a certain expectation. A responsibility to repay all the money spent on your clothes and accessories alone, and you hadn’t even counted other special yet conditional treatments you received.
Because a stranger, especially an alien like you, didn’t deserve this kind of wealth. Let alone ruling myriads of dark creatures and humans.
“You look gorgeous, darling.”
You gasped softly and tensed when a pair of arms enveloped you from behind. Just like how you could never truly get used to being a queen, you weren’t used to being the recipient of Malleus’ affection too. It just felt… wrong. Sure, you loved him, but as a friend! He was this awkward gentleman that you couldn’t help but adore, and you even sacrificed half of your resting time just to meet him at night.
So, then, why did he have to break your trust? Why did he have to hurt you with his feelings? Why did you have to suffer for your kindness?
“Thank you.”
You toyed with the emerald pendant on your neck. Sometime after your friendship had fully established, Malleus began to give you lots of presents. Clothes, jewelry, and occasionally small services like fixing the holes on the ceiling. There were also times when he brought you strange yet magical things that worth more than your life. The latter reminded you of a cat sometimes, and that was perhaps one of your mistakes; believing he was as harmless as a cat.
Because even a cat wasn’t without its claws.
Except he didn’t scratch you. He would never scratch you, but your friends weren’t an exception. And if let loose, he might attack other people too. That was why you agreed with this arrangement. Another reason was to repay your debt for accepting his gifts, because no matter how generous he was as a friend, he was still a fae and you couldn’t trust a fae.
“What are you thinking about?”
Many, many things. Things that you couldn’t fully tell him even if you tried, because that meant you’d have to suffer more and you weren’t ready for it.
“… Just the future.”
“Aw… are you scared?” he chuckled in your ear and leaned forward even more until he rested his chin on your shoulder. His hand stroked your cheek, and had you were in a different situation, you would’ve closed your eyes blissfully and melted at his touch. “Don’t fret. Everything will be fine. We will have a big family and we will have our own happy ending.”
You gripped his arm. Happy ending… did it even exist? You’d always known that you’d be stuck in Twisted Wonderland forever, what’s with Crowley disappointing you over and over again, but it hadn’t truly dawned on you until Malleus forced you to marry him. Still, life was infinitely better when you had your friends beside you.
Not in here, where you sat on the dressing table clad in a royal attire that was too heavy and too thick and too crushing. Not in here, where your other seniors became guards and protected you against anything and anyone who harmed or saved you. Not in here, where your husband and captor cradled you from behind like vines that sprouted from the tower.
And although you did this for the sake of your friends, it didn’t mean you weren’t sad.
“Don’t cry. Tears don’t suit you.”
Unknowingly, a tear slipped from your lash and Malleus quickly wiped it away. A trace of white powder clung to his gloved finger like a stain, a drug he’d gladly consume over and over again if it meant he could drown in the euphoria of love. Of what he thought was love.
Or perhaps he’d always known it wasn’t love, but choose to ignore it instead. After all, why should he concern himself with the semantics? You were here, and that was all mattered.
“You’ve been doing so well, after all. And I hate to see you in anything other than a smile. So, for the sake of your friends…”
Slowly, you raised your head.
“Won’t you smile for me, my love?”
And smile, you did.
For the sake of your friends.
Welcome to my humble, little blog where I’ll occasionally post various creative works of mine.
While this is a mostly SFW blog, it will contain NSFW posts, so minors DNI.
Twisted Wonderland
Cookie Run: OvenBreak
Hazbin Hotel
Helluva Boss.
Even if your favorite series doesn’t appear on this list, don’t hesitate to send me an ask about them.
This post just proves that Tumblr NEEDS to add a search filter in the liked posts page.
I’m not sure how they think getting rid of NSFW content would help their revenue. A lot of people (including myself) go to Tumblr PRECISELY because of that. Considering that you have to be at least 13 years old to make a Tumblr account, I don’t expect all of the posts to be sunshine & rainbows (sure people lie about their age, but that’s beside the point).
are you kidding me
Fandom: Twisted Wonderland
Characters: (Y/n) (gender neutral), Crowley, dorm leaders & Leech twins
Word count: 908
Warnings: Slander towards various characters, but mostly Crowley.
Author’s note: I’m so sorry for being inactive for so long. Life’s been hectic & I’ve been suffering from creative block. Anyways, please keep in mind that the opinions (Y/n) expresses about other characters are my own.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me correctly, Headmaster. I’ve decided to transfer to Royal Sword Academy” (Y/n) replied bluntly.
“But I’ve been kind to you since the beginning! Not only have I given you a home & money for necessities, I’ve been conducting countless research on how you could return to your world. How could you be so cruel” asked Crowley.
“Consider this as karma for all the times you’ve dumped your responsibilities onto me.”
Gasping, Crowley stood up. “I’ve never done such a thing!”
Without skipping a beat, (Y/n) brought up Leona’s unsuccessful sabotaging of the inter-dorm Magshift tournament back in October, Azul’s “assistance” with the final exams, the time they called Crowley during winter break & the multiple instances where they begged for less tasks.
As (Y/n) kept talking, Crowley tried to think of an offer that was too tempting for them to pass up. “If you so wish, I could increase the Madols I give you.”
They shook their head knowing that this paltry raise would be temporary.
“(Y/n), please reconsider. The students would react poorly upon hearing your desire to leave Night Raven College.”
“I know that, but I have to look after myself. Everyone will graduate one day & so will I. Where am I supposed to go afterwards?” (Y/n) adjusted their uniform. “Anyways, I’ve already contacted the school’s headmaster about my situation & he said he’d get in touch with me soon.”
“You’ve talked to Ambrose already?! When did you do that?!”
“During lunchtime.” Just now, (Y/n)’s phone rings. “I think that’s him. Goodbye, Headmaster.”
“Wait!” Crowley watched as (Y/n) left his office. He sat down in his chair, contemplating on his next move.
Time skip to a Thursday evening at the Mostro Lounge…
“Koebi-chan! Help me with the dishes, will ya?”
“Floyd! Stop telling others to do your job” barked Azul.
“Why am I stuck on dish duty? It’s soooo boring!”
“Because you threatened our customers with the prospect of being squeezed! Again!”
“It’s not my fault they didn’t want to tip me! I had to make my time as a waiter worthwhile.”
(Y/n) couldn’t help but chuckle at their banter. While Floyd can be disruptive, he can liven up the place.
“Hey, can I get some service here” asked a student who was with a few classmates.
“Coming” replied (Y/n). Until the day they can officially transfer to Royal Sword Academy arrives, they’ll continue to work at the Mostro Lounge.
At the Mostro Lounge VIP room…
“Here is your paycheck for the week, (Y/n)” said Azul, handing (Y/n) their Madols.
“Thanks, Azul.”
“(Y/n), before you leave, I have something important to discuss with you. Several customers have been complaining about your declining service. Care to explain why?”
Sighing, (Y/n) replied “I haven’t been feeling good lately. Crowley keeps giving me tasks to do & every time I express my concerns, he keeps reminding me of how he’s always been so ‘graciously kind’ to me.”
“Is that so? If you wish, we could have a talk with him” stated Azul in an eerily calm tone, gesturing to the Leech twins who stood behind him.
“There’s no need. I’m-” (Y/n) paused. “I’m gonna be fine. Don’t worry about it.”
“If ya say so, Shrimpy~. We’ll be around if you change your mind.”
“I concur with Floyd. It would upset me greatly if something were to happen to my fellow mushroom enthusiast.”
“As I’ve said, there’s really nothing to worry about” said (Y/n) before quickly leaving the VIP room.
On a Friday afternoon in Ramshackle…
(Y/n), not having anything to do, decides to go to the admissions & records office.
Suddenly, the sky turned dark & it began to rain.
Huh? Where’d this rain come from? Whatever. Grabbing an umbrella & bag, (Y/n) ran to the front door. Upon opening it, they saw all seven dorm leaders who were either upset or worried. “Can I help you all?”
“You can help us by explaining why you’re planning on leaving us, Herbivore”
Since they knew the truth, (Y/n)’s expression became much more serious. “You all know about my issues with Crowley, so I won’t repeat them. What I haven’t mentioned before is that I’ve also taken umbrage with most of the guys here.” Before any of the dorm leaders spoke up, (Y/n) raised their hand for a second. “I know we get along these days, but it wasn’t like that when I met you all. Malleus & Kalim are the only exceptions & even then, I’ve hardly talked to the former.”
All dorm leaders felt various levels of guilt after (Y/n) went over some of the things they’ve done, such as Riddle insulting their education & their parents & the massive disaster that was Malleus’s overblot.
“(Y/n). I can’t speak for everyone when I say this, but I apologize for burdening you. By trying to take away your dorm, I became something worse than those who’ve mocked me in the past. Nothing I will do will truly repair the damage I’ve done to you, but if there’s any way I can gain so much as an iota of your forgiveness, please let me know” said Azul.
The other dorm leaders also apologized for their past actions & begged (Y/n) to stay, saying how much they mean to them.
Not wanting to truly regret their decision, (Y/n) said they’d think about it some more.
Yuu: Hey, Tsunotaruo?
Malleus: Yes, Child of Man?
Yuu: How come I'm the only one that you refer to as "Child of Man" even though there's other humans in Night Raven College as well?
Malleus: They all may be a child of man, but they're not my child of man.
Yuu: O-Oh... *Blushes*
Malleus: *Is now smirking*
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! I was legit surprised when you turned my idea into an entire fanfic. Also, I love Myza now.
In which Malleus introduces (Y/n) to his fiancee, who promptly grows fond of (Y/n) to the point where she and Malleus are fighting over who is a better friend to (Y/n).
Idea by @azureflame.
"Lady Myza, this is—" Malleus began, but was interrupted when the tall fae next to him broke away from his side and just swooped you up in one motion.
"A human! You have a human friend—?" she cried out happily while holding you hostage in her boa-like grip. Overwhelmed, you tried to wiggle out of her arms, but her hold on you only tightened when you began struggling. Soon, your legs that hung uselessly over the ground went limp, much to Malleus' concern. His fiancee would have none of it, only continuing to press her cheek against yours, a sign of affection from her kind — the serpent fae. "You never told me that your friend is so small and squishy and oh... just so very adorable..."
It was only when you mustered up enough energy and willpower to tap on her shoulders that she realised she might have used too much force. Now concerned, too, when she gazed upon your unusually pale face, she gently lowered you to the ground again. You wheezed and gasped for sweet air, your hands resting on your trembling knees.
Despite your near death experience, you still managed to smile up at her, straining your neck while doing so. "Thank you?" There was an unsure twinge to your voice as her purple eyes bore down at you in such an intense way that you almost forgot how to breathe for a moment. "I'm (Y/n)!"
Your friendliness made her chuckle in amusement, covering her mouth like it was custom for nobles to do. It was only then that you managed to get a better look at the imposing girl who was almost as tall as Malleus. The deep-purple dress she wore was decorated with all sorts of feathers, giving it an over-the-top look — but you had to admit that she could rock it without a doubt. As if the feathers on her dress weren't enough, she even had some tucked into her extravagant hairdo.
"I am delighted to make your acquaintance!" she cheered eventually with such vigour that you almost yelped in surprise. It looked like she was about to shoot forward and envelop you in another hug again, but her fiance luckily stopped her from almost killing you again. So, with a sheepish smile on her lips, she merely curtsied and flashed you a charming grin. "I am Myza Amaru, a noble from the Valley of Thorns. How I wish I wasn't though... you see, I was born in another kingdom far away— where it was actually warm and the weather was delightful to say the least..."
Malleus quirked an eyebrow when you began laughing at her words. "Our weather isn't that bad, is it?" he asked, maybe a little bit offended.
Myza scoffed and flicked her slender wrist in a nonchalant way. Despite her vice grip, her limbs looked weak and rather bony on first glance. When she shook her head in an energetic way, her large blue earrings moved with her. "It is very horrible when you start moping about your 'Child of Man', Malleus..." she shot back, her arms crossed in amusement. "I do not wish to live in a kingdom where murderous green lightning bolts and angry thunder might appear at a whim's notice."
Your lips were pulled up into a giant smile by then. You found her humour to be golden and barely could hold back the laughter that was already threatening to spill out of your throat — you only held it in for your dear dragon fae friend, as a matter of courtesy. Speaking of him, he looked quite embarrassed and aghast as his fiancee spoke of such things so freely, causing tension to soon rise up.
To dispel it, you offered your arm out to the tall girl — a comical sight to possible witnesses. "Well, how about I show you around campus, Lady Myza?" you asked as she eagerly wrapped her long fingers around your lower arm.
Myza began giggling like a little school-girl, blushing like one, too. "Oh, you need not address me in such a formal tone!" she cooed while giving your head a little pat, as one would treat their pet or perhaps a child that one adored. "All friends of Malleus are my own!"
Then, leaving behind a perplexed Malleus, Myza pulled you off into the distance and asked you to explain all sorts of things — from simple plants to complex oil paintings — just to hear your adorable voice.
•••
After your wonderful tour of school grounds — despite the awful weather that plagued you throughout it, and everyone knew who the perpetrator was with the furious green lightning bolts — Myza was now wandering through campus, her analytical purple eyes scanning the area for a certain student. It was a cat that you had described to her, with grey fur and blue fire coming from his ears.
And it was soon that she found her subject napping underneath a large tree, where he originally had sought shelter from the horrible weather that had now cleared up after a certain mage was allowed to spend time with his dear human.
Myza grinned, her face pulled into a frightening grimace, as she stepped in front of the cat. Her presence alone was enough to wake the poor being from his peaceful slumber, and he bolted upright. Once he found a shadow looming over him, his wide blue eyes slowly trailed upward until his eyes met striking purple ones.
"Grim, is that what they call you?"
Still busy rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes, Grim replied, "Yes, that's me." His ears were raised high in alarm, and he narrowed his eyes at the suspicious fae he had never seen before. It was only a few moments after meeting her that he realised what immense power she radiated. "Woah, you're scary..."
Myza giggled, and her frightening aura disappeared for a brief moment. "I don't think I'm scary," she cooed, although that sweet side of her soon was replaced by that scary one again when she rubbed her palms against one another, a scheming grin on her lips. "Aside from maybe being the third most powerful mage in Twisted Wonderland~"
Grim's jaw fell down. "That's impressive..."
The noble bowed in a mocking way, as elegant and graceful as ever. When she straightened her back again, her eyes were more determined and fiery than ever. "Anyway, I need your help. Just earlier today, I got to meet your owner, cat." A smile soon appeared on her face, and she couldn't help but swoon in happiness she hadn't felt in a long way. She had always loved humans, as had her ancestors before her; did you know that way back then, some humans used to worship her family? That spark of kindness and courage in your eyes — she adored it. "And what can I say? I'm smitten! Oh, her kindness, humour— beautiful, she is too, but no one can rival my beauty, of course. Anyway, I want to get closer to her, but Malleus' jealousy will not let me. I need a way to get rid of him."
"What? Get rid of Malleus—?"
"Oh, just something harmless!" Myza wasted no time in waving off his worries. "Like turning him into a fly! In that way, I get to spend time with (Y/n) and convince her that I am a much better friend than Malleus is."
Grim raised an eyebrow at her plan. "Are all fae this petty?"
"No, it's just the nobility, silly cat," she drawled, giggling. "Anyway, you'll be my assistant, alright? I'm in dire need for one."
"...aren't transformation potions illegal?"
Myza quickly covered his mouth with her pale fingers, a large scowl on her face that immediately caused the cat monster to quieten down again. "Hush," she hissed with her eyes wandering around the area. "No one needs to know about my little hobby, cat..."
Grim shrugged, and she soon removed her hands from his mouth again. Once he was free, he rose to his feet and put his hands on his lips. "What do I do as an assistant?"
"You just do whatever I tell you to. Like pulling levers so that we can get to my super-secret underground hideout where I brew all my potions." Grim still looked very much suspicious of her offer, not really sure if he should get himself into such dangers like this; you would surely scold him and blame his misdemeanors on Ace, wouldn't you? Myza hummed and added, "Besides, I'll pay you a hefty amount of tuna. (Y/n) said you loved tuna."
"Easy, easy!" Grim immediately yelled out, his eyes glowing in happiness. "I'm in."
Myza clapped her hands in happiness and hastily bent down to pick up the heavy cat monster. Within a split second, purple smoke swallowed them and spit them out in front of an ominous looking stone-door again. The serpent fae lowered the cat monster to the floor again and dusted off her expensive dress.
Grim's eyes were wide in fascination, never having witnessed such extraordinary teleportation magic before. Being the third strongest mage in Twisted Wonderland sure had its perks, no?
Once the fae looked flawless again, she gently pushed her newest assistant to the door, on which multiple levers were attached. "Alright, Assistant, pull the lever!" she yelled out.
Grim shrugged and pulled the lever located on the farthest right. "Done," he murmured, only to turn around and witness as Myza plummeted through the hatch that had opened up due to him pulling the lever.
A shrill scream escaped her lips when she landed on a floor beneath him, everything being dark and warm. There were other presences she could sense — and they all seemed to be hostile. "That was the wrong lever—" she screamed out as she turned her gaze up at the cat monster, who sheepishly waved down at her from the hatch. She was about to return to him when a horde of angry and hungry crocodiles threw themselves at her, causing her to sigh nonchalantly while fending them off. "I swear, I shouldn't have kept these crocodiles that Sebek gave to me..."
Grim quirked an eyebrow as he watched her. "And this lady is supposed to brew a potion that turns Malleus into a fly?"
•••
"Myza is such a nice person!" you chirped with a large smile on your face, causing Malleus' to immediately frown.
Sitting in the Diasomnia common room with him after your tour with Myza had ended, Malleus hoped to talk with you about other things — but it seemed like all you wanted to talk about was his fiancee.
Malleus' hands tightened into fists as she shot you a forced smile. "She can be very dramatic at times... even two-faced. But I do admit that she has a very charming side to her." Then, he paused, not very sure what more he could say about her without sounding rude towards his fiancee. A sudden rush of jealousy within him caused him to turn to you and almost remark in a sneer, "I have to confess that I didn't expect you to get along so well— almost too well..."
You hummed along, just happy that you had managed to make a new friend. "Me neither."
Comfortable silence laid itself over the two of you, and you just enjoyed each other's presence without any bothersome words. Your fae friend was allowed to cool down, and you were able to just reminisce about today's events with a large smile on your lips. Eventually, he even worked up enough courage to extend his hand and take your hands into his.
But before you could ask him if he needed something or if something was wrong, a new figure barged into the otherwise empty common room and marched over to you, interrupting your moment.
It was Myza.
"(Y/n), my dear human!" she exclaimed, and you immediately let go of Malleus' hand to pay her your full attention. Her cheerful demeanour immediately brought a large smile to your face. "It is time for us to embark on our quest of brewing some potions — just like I promised you earlier!"
You nodded eagerly and rose to your feet, leaving behind a perplexed dragon fae. "Oh— yes! Let's go—" Gasps escaped your lips once you noticed various bitemarks and bruises on her arms — and her dress looked a little bit worn out, as if she had gotten into a fight. You furrowed your eyebrows in concern and took her left arm that was especially bruised into your hands. "Wait, are you alright, Myza? Your hair looks a little bit singed... and are these bite marks on your arms?"
Myza waved you off, silly giggles escaping her lips. "Oh, they're nothing. But I appreciate your worries," she cooed, flattered. Although a little bit suspicious, you hummed and shot her a little smile. Without wasting any time, she took your hand and dragged you off to the exit of the common room. "Now, shall we go? I will show you how to bring a beastman to his knees with a simple potion—"
Her endeavour was interrupted when she felt a certain resistance from you. Turning around, she found Malleus to have grabbed your other free hand. Thus, you were now the centre of a tug-of-war game.
Malleus had his eyes narrowed threateningly. "Myza, you can't just steal my treasure from me—"
She rolled her eyes, like a mother scolding her child. "Malleus, yes I can," she retorted casually before continuing to pull you along with her, only to result in you shrieking in pain at how you were almost being pulled apart by the two fae holding onto one of your hands, none of them willing to let go.
"Guys..." you cried out, sensing that chaos was about to happen. "Can't we all get along?"
"I saw (Y/n) first!" Malleus growled.
Myza quirked an eyebrow and clicked her forked tongue. "And? You dragon fae always see your loved ones as objects to hoard, although they're not. Is (Y/n) not free to make friends with others?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. Malleus faltered for a moment and lost himself in thoughts, wondering if there was some truth to the serpent's words.
