Author's note: This is my first ever fanfic, but I'm certain y'all are gonna love it! I'd like to give thanks to a friend of mine on Discord for suggesting the title via Discord because lord knows I can't come up with creative titles. ALSO, PLEASE tag anyone (with their consent ofc) who'd be potentially interested in this story, especially people who like MalleYuu.

Christmas break has arrived for the students at Night Raven College. Every student expressed their joy knowing that they don’t have to read a single damn textbook for some time. Some considered traveling to another country, some were wanting to spend some quality time with their families & some preferred playing video games in their room all day. Unfortunately for (Y/n), they had none of those privileges. Instead, they’ll just have to survive the harsh winter as best as they could. They were fortunate enough to have the ghosts & Grim around to keep them company.

As for Malleus, he wasn’t neither thrilled nor upset about returning to his home for the holidays. As much as he appreciates Lilia, Sebek & Silver’s company, he wishes he could make some fond memories with someone new, someone who doesn’t fear him… That’s when he realized something! (Y/n) fulfilled both of those requirements!

Seeing Malleus’s face suddenly light up caused Lilia to appear by his side. “What’s on your mind, Malleus” asked Lilia. He already knew Malleus was thinking about (Y/n), but he still wanted to see his joyous expression that appeared once in a blue moon.

“Lilia. Go see if (Y/n) has any plans for this Christmas break. If not, please inform them that they’re invited to stay at the castle” Malleus requested.

“Fufu. As you wish” chuckled Lilia before teleporting to the Ramshackle dorm. After knocking at the front door & shouting “Prefect! Are you there,” he only waited for a few seconds before (Y/n) answered the door.

“Hi, Lilia! Come inside. It’s getting cold already” requested (Y/n). They were preparing for the harsh winter by washing their warmest clothes & thickest blankets, gathering firewood & so on & so forth. It was precisely because of their preparations that they were caught off guard by Lilia’s arrival. “I’m sorry that I can’t offer you anything to eat or drink, Lilia” (Y/n) lamented. “I’m gathering anything I can for Grim & I to survive this winter. I heard that it’s gonna be a harsh one.”

“No need to worry, (Y/n)” replied Lilia as he waved his hand. “I came here on behalf of Lord Malleus. He wanted me to inquire you about your plans for this Christmas break. It seems that you lack any, yes?”

(Y/n) lowered their head in shame. “That’s unfortunately right. But why does Tsunotarou want to know about that” asked (Y/n) without trying not to cry. The thought of not being able to open presents, eat plenty of good food & create fond memories that’ll be remembered for years to come left them in a state of mental anguish.

“Well, well” said Lilia with a chuckle. “Fortunately for you my lord wanted to let you know that you’ve been invited to stay at his castle for this Christmas break. Do you accept the invitation or not?”

(Y/n) looked at Lilia with a look of genuine shock & surprise. They get to stay at an actual castle?! In their mind, it would be stupid to not accept the invitation since they’d be living in much better conditions than in the Ramshackle dorm. “Yes! Yes, I accept the invitation! I’ll tell Grim the news right away” exclaimed (Y/n). They haphazardly threw on their jacket & ran outside to call for Grim who was collecting sticks for firewood. “GRIM! GRIM, COME INSIDE! I’VE GOT GOOD NEWS!”

He ran toward (Y/n) with a few sticks in his mouth & spat them out by the time he was at the front door. “It better be that I don’t have to collect any more sticks” complained Grim. Even though (Y/n) collected some firewood, they asked Grim to help gather some more. He was, of course, annoyed that he had to do manual labor, but seeing them do so much to prepare for the harsh, winter cold made him felt a tinge of guilt. Plus, he knew the Ramshackle ghosts & (Y/n) would give him hell for not helping the latter out.

After ushering Grim inside, (Y/n) shuts the door with a large grin across their face. “We’re staying at Tsunotarou’s place this Christmas break! Can you believe it? We don’t have to wonder if we’re going to eat or not! We’ll only have to think about what we want to eat!”

After seeing Lilia nod, Grim’s eyes widened. “Does this mean I can have as many deluxe canned tunas as I want?! Any meal that I’ve ever wanted to try, I can have?!”

“That’s right. I also want to let you both know that you have the rest of this day to pack all of your personal items,” said Lilia.

Suddenly, (Y/n) & Grim panic. It was already afternoon & they didn’t have a travel suitcase. There could be one somewhere in the Ramshackle dorm, but it would take way too long to find it.

Seeing their panicked faces amused Lilia greatly. “Oh, I was messing with you two. We’re heading to the Hall of Mirrors to arrive at his castle tomorrow morning. If you guys want, I’ll also lend you a travel suitcase so you could quickly pack your items.”

“Lilia! You nearly gave us a heart attack” screeched (Y/n).

“Yeah, I was worried that I wouldn’t have enough time to get ready” yelled Grim.

Now Lilia couldn’t hold back his laughter. He knew that he could scare them by saying they’d have less than a day to get everything ready, but seeing their legs nearly give out was not what he anticipated. The look of dread on their faces was just icing on the cake. “Alright, alright. I’ll head back to my dorm & get the travel suitcase for you.”

After Lilia teleported back to the Diasomnia dorm, Malleus was quickly informed of the good news. “To think that my dearest Child of Man will be staying at my castle for this Christmas break. How shall I spend time with them? Should I show them my rose garden? Should I show them some of the beautiful scenery that the Valley of Thorns has to offer? I cannot wait for them to arrive at the Hall of Mirror tomorrow morning” Malleus thought to himself. The immense wave of euphoria had him oblivious to the fact that he was shaking on the spot.

Speaking of Lilia, he was having a field day. Not only did he scare the living daylights out of both (Y/n) & Grim, but he’s also getting to see the Malleus Draconia behave like a child (Malleus is still a child in his mind). He knew that this Christmas break would be an interesting one.

As he was on his way to get that travel suitcase for (Y/n) & Grim, he thought about what the former had said earlier. To think that they genuinely thought of going into starvation broke his heart. Just how neglectful to those two can the headmaster be?! Before finding what he was looking for, Lilia rubbed his face while sighing heavily. He could only hope that (Y/n) & Grim could stay at the castle for more than just Christmas break.

so uhhh I don’t normally get the Animatic Urge, but for some reason I really wanted to do this little bit from 6-37! there’s not really a punchline or anything, I just…inexplicably felt like drawing this scene (by which I mean the first little bit of this scene, minus a few lines for ~streamlining~ and the sake of not spending forever on it).

Author’s note: I’m so sorry for being inactive for so long. Life’s been hectic & I’ve been suffering from creative block. Anyways, please keep in mind that the opinions (Y/n) expresses about other characters are my own.

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me correctly, Headmaster. I’ve decided to transfer to Royal Sword Academy” (Y/n) replied bluntly.

“But I’ve been kind to you since the beginning! Not only have I given you a home & money for necessities, I’ve been conducting countless research on how you could return to your world. How could you be so cruel” asked Crowley.

“Consider this as karma for all the times you’ve dumped your responsibilities onto me.”

Gasping, Crowley stood up. “I’ve never done such a thing!”

Without skipping a beat, (Y/n) brought up Leona’s unsuccessful sabotaging of the inter-dorm Magshift tournament back in October, Azul’s “assistance” with the final exams, the time they called Crowley during winter break & the multiple instances where they begged for less tasks.

As (Y/n) kept talking, Crowley tried to think of an offer that was too tempting for them to pass up. “If you so wish, I could increase the Madols I give you.”

They shook their head knowing that this paltry raise would be temporary.

“(Y/n), please reconsider. The students would react poorly upon hearing your desire to leave Night Raven College.”

“I know that, but I have to look after myself. Everyone will graduate one day & so will I. Where am I supposed to go afterwards?” (Y/n) adjusted their uniform. “Anyways, I’ve already contacted the school’s headmaster about my situation & he said he’d get in touch with me soon.”

“You’ve talked to Ambrose already?! When did you do that?!”

“During lunchtime.” Just now, (Y/n)’s phone rings. “I think that’s him. Goodbye, Headmaster.”

“Wait!” Crowley watched as (Y/n) left his office. He sat down in his chair, contemplating on his next move.

Time skip to a Thursday evening at the Mostro Lounge…

“Koebi-chan! Help me with the dishes, will ya?”

“Floyd! Stop telling others to do your job” barked Azul.

“Why am I stuck on dish duty? It’s soooo boring!”

“Because you threatened our customers with the prospect of being squeezed! Again!”

“It’s not my fault they didn’t want to tip me! I had to make my time as a waiter worthwhile.”

(Y/n) couldn’t help but chuckle at their banter. While Floyd can be disruptive, he can liven up the place.

“Hey, can I get some service here” asked a student who was with a few classmates.

“Coming” replied (Y/n). Until the day they can officially transfer to Royal Sword Academy arrives, they’ll continue to work at the Mostro Lounge.

At the Mostro Lounge VIP room…

“Here is your paycheck for the week, (Y/n)” said Azul, handing (Y/n) their Madols.

“Thanks, Azul.”

“(Y/n), before you leave, I have something important to discuss with you. Several customers have been complaining about your declining service. Care to explain why?”

Sighing, (Y/n) replied “I haven’t been feeling good lately. Crowley keeps giving me tasks to do & every time I express my concerns, he keeps reminding me of how he’s always been so ‘graciously kind’ to me.”

“Is that so? If you wish, we could have a talk with him” stated Azul in an eerily calm tone, gesturing to the Leech twins who stood behind him.

“There’s no need. I’m-” (Y/n) paused. “I’m gonna be fine. Don’t worry about it.”

“If ya say so, Shrimpy~. We’ll be around if you change your mind.”

“I concur with Floyd. It would upset me greatly if something were to happen to my fellow mushroom enthusiast.”

“As I’ve said, there’s really nothing to worry about” said (Y/n) before quickly leaving the VIP room.

On a Friday afternoon in Ramshackle…

(Y/n), not having anything to do, decides to go to the admissions & records office.

Suddenly, the sky turned dark & it began to rain.

Huh? Where’d this rain come from? Whatever. Grabbing an umbrella & bag, (Y/n) ran to the front door. Upon opening it, they saw all seven dorm leaders who were either upset or worried. “Can I help you all?”

“You can help us by explaining why you’re planning on leaving us, Herbivore”

Since they knew the truth, (Y/n)’s expression became much more serious. “You all know about my issues with Crowley, so I won’t repeat them. What I haven’t mentioned before is that I’ve also taken umbrage with most of the guys here.” Before any of the dorm leaders spoke up, (Y/n) raised their hand for a second. “I know we get along these days, but it wasn’t like that when I met you all. Malleus & Kalim are the only exceptions & even then, I’ve hardly talked to the former.”

All dorm leaders felt various levels of guilt after (Y/n) went over some of the things they’ve done, such as Riddle insulting their education & their parents & the massive disaster that was Malleus’s overblot.

“(Y/n). I can’t speak for everyone when I say this, but I apologize for burdening you. By trying to take away your dorm, I became something worse than those who’ve mocked me in the past. Nothing I will do will truly repair the damage I’ve done to you, but if there’s any way I can gain so much as an iota of your forgiveness, please let me know” said Azul.

The other dorm leaders also apologized for their past actions & begged (Y/n) to stay, saying how much they mean to them.

Not wanting to truly regret their decision, (Y/n) said they’d think about it some more.

I crack my eggs against the side of the bowl I’m gonna whisk them in.

we literally have just a few days to act. the senate is debating about putting KOSA, the Kids Online Safety Act, into the omnibus spending bill. if it is added, it WILL pass. despite the title and content of the bill seeming to be about protecting kids, we know everytime someone claims they are "saving the children" they have more sinister goals

which is why Senator Blumenthal is working with one of the biggest transphobes in the senate, Marsha Blackburn, to force this bill through, and claiming they are listening to LGBT voices when they are blatantly ignoring us.

essentially this bill gives every state attorney generals the power to remove anything they deem 'harmful' to kids online. you can see how a state like Texas or Florida would run with that, yes? it also forces you to upload your government ID online to access the internet. the bill will create a 'commission' led by handpicked members of the govt to oversee what is and isn't allowed online. it will lead to mass censorship of anything related to race or LGBT content. in a post-Roe world too? say goodbye to any abortion/sex-related info.

they are doing a shit ton of PR for this, including claiming they are listening to LGBT voices. i mean just look.

two weeks ago, 90+ human rights, LGBT, and tech orgs signed onto an open letter telling Senators NOT to pass this bill. in response, over 230 orgs led by the American Psychological Association signed a letter urging senators to. it's really fucking bad. like i can't sleep because of this. i didn't expect this to happen. we really really need people to speak up.

My name is _, and I strongly urge you to oppose the dangerously misguided KOSA bill from being added to the omnibus spending bill. Bills like this should not be included in spending bills. Over 90 human rights and LGBT organizations have spoken out against this bill.

KOSA gives state attorney generals full power to sue any website if they see it has anything that is “inappropriate for children”'. For the past year, Republicans claimed everything LGBT is “grooming” children and we ended up with a shooting in Colorado and bomb threats sent to hospitals, NO senator should support a bill with vague phrasing like this. Before that, they successful removed books on race due to "CRT". This gives them a pass to do this to the entire internet. KOSA will only lead to more harm towards minorities and LGBT youth across the nation by censoring everything online.

The Heritage Foundation said they will use KOSA to target LGBT kids, specifically trans kids. In a post-Roe world, they will even use KOSA to censor resources on abortion. Anything they dislike will be targeted.

A bill this huge and this impactful should not be added to any spending bill. Even if it was a small bill, it has nothing to do with the omnibus spending bill and shouldn't be added at ALL. It needs more time being discussed. There should be hearings on it as well

We all care about kids mental health. We all want to hold Big Tech accountable, but this is NOT it. This will give Big Tech more power while taking away resources from the most vulnerable children. It is not the solution.

Hi, everyone. I apologize for the lack of activity on this blog. Please know that I haven't abandoned it. I've just been trying to create headers for my fanfics so that they don't look so boring. I've already finished the headers for Pomefiore & am halfway done with the ones for Heartslabyul. Designing stuff can be challenging, especially when you've never done it before.

   It seems that alot of attackers use some tactic to get away with violence. Not many people know how to take care of themselves when faced with such a situation. Everyone should read this especially each n every girl in this world. THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD INFO TO PASS ALONG… FYI - Through a rapist’s eyes! A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts: 1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun! , braid, or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets. 2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women who’s clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing. 3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered. 4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots. 5] Number two is office parking lots/garages. 6] Number three is public restrooms. 7] The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second location where they don’t have to worry about getting caught. 8] If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn’t worth it because it will be time-consuming. 9] These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas,or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands. 10] Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you’re not worth it. ———————————————————————————————————————————- POINTS THAT WE SHOULD REMEMBER: 1] If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: can’t believe it is so cold out here, we’re in for a bad winter. Now that you’ve seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up, you lose appeal as a target.

  2] If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they’d leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would  not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY target. 3] If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent. 4] If someone grabs you, you can’t beat them with strength but you can do it by outsmarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and armpit or in the upper inner thigh - HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts. 5] After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy’s parts it is extremely painful. You might think that you’ll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble, and he’s out of there. 6] When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked audibly. 7] Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don’t dismiss it, go with your instincts. You may feel little silly at the time, but you’d feel much worse if the guy really was trouble. ——————————————————————————————————————————- FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THESE AS WELL …. I know you are smart enough to know these pointers but there will be some, where you will go “hmm I must remember that” After reading forward it to someone you care about, never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in. 1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it. 2. Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans : if a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you…. chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! 3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won’t see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives. 4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping,eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON’T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side,put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.  

5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage: a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. ( DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB) . b. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars. c. Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)  

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot). 7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN! 8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked “for help” into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.
