š¬ Just a Small Update, and a Big Thank You
Dear friends, kind hearts, and everyone who has stood with us,
When I first opened my heart to the world and shared our story, I never imagined the amount of love and solidarity we would receive. Thanks to your incredible support, weāve now reached $12,837āa milestone that brings real light to some very dark days.
From the deepest corners of my heart, thank you.
As many of you know, Iāve lost 25 of my loved ones during this devastating war. That grief lives with me every single day. Itās in the silence that once held laughter, in the empty spaces where we once gathered as a family.
But through your help, Iāve also felt something else: hope. And that hope is priceless.
ā21/Oct/2023 Before It Reached Us: The Day Our Neighborās House Was Destroyedā A quiet moment of fear, filmed just before everything changed.
ā22/Oct/2023 The Morning After: Our Family Home in Ruinsā This is what was left behind after the bombing of our home.
Despite everything, weāre still here. Still surviving. Still hoping.
But things have only gotten harder.
The war has returned, more brutal than beforeāand for over a month now, Gaza has been completely sealed off. No food is coming in. No medical supplies. No aid. No trade. No one is allowed to leave, and no one is allowed to enter.
Weāre trapped.
š We live with the fear of tomorrow, every single day. Airstrikes, drones, and the uncertainty of what might happen next. šØāš©āš§ Our family is forever changedāwe havenāt just lost people; weāve lost pieces of ourselves. š Basic needs go unmetāeven clean water feels like a luxury now. Medicines, if they exist at all, are unreachable.
And yetā¦
Your support reminds us that weāre not forgotten. It reminds us that someone, somewhere, is still listening. That someone still cares. That weāre not completely alone in this.
Every message. Every share. Every dollar. It tells us: Youāre walking this road with us. And that gives us the strength to keep going.
If youāve already donatedāthank you beyond words. If you can share our story again, it could reach someone who can help.
Even $5 means warmth, comfort, and a chance to breathe a little easier.
This isnāt just about reaching a fundraising goal. Itās about surviving war with dignity. Itās about believing in tomorrow. Itās about making sure my daughter grows up knowing that the world did not look away.
Thank you for your kindness, patience, and belief in our humanity. Youāve helped me find my voiceāand I will use it to keep hope alive.
Thereās something I need to sayāsomething thatās been on my heart for some time.
When I first began sharing our story, I didnāt know what the right way was. I was scared, grieving, and trying to protect my family in any way I could. I reached out to many people, hoping someone, anyone, would see us. In that process, I now realize I may have overstepped, and I might have made some feel overwhelmed.
If that happened, I am truly sorry.
Please believe me when I say it was never out of disregard or pushiness. It came from a place of fearāfear of being forgotten, fear of not being able to keep my family safe, fear of watching everything I love slip away in silence.
Iām learning as I go. Iāve slowed down. Iām more mindful now, trying to share our journey in a way that feels respectful of the space and hearts of those listening.
If my words ever came at the wrong time, or in the wrong way, I hope you can understand where they came fromāand I hope you can forgive me.
Thank you for seeing past my mistakes. Thank you for still being here. It means more than I can ever explain.
With love and endless gratitude, Mosab and family ā„ļø
Hello, I'm Asmaa from Gaza.
I was born in 1991.
I'm a girl from a family of seven boys and six girls, and I'm the youngest.
My mother and I live in a house left to us by my father. I studied at university and graduated with a degree in basic education.
I worked in a private job and received a salary that covered my expenses as much as possible.
We were happy until the war came.
The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.
Here, hell began for us in Gaza. I lost my job and became unemployed. My mother owns nothing, and I own nothing now.
My mother was displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. It was months of longing for my mother and siblings.
My brothers, Mahmoud, and Ashraf stayed behind.
We cried several times because I live in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, a border area close to the army.
During the displacement on June 27, 2024, we left the house and raced down the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the lightning strike. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape. Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers. I lost my beloved son Mahmoud. Ashraf Mahmoud left no children. As for Ashraf, he left behind his sons who are grieving, and my mother is in pain because they departed to God without saying goodbye, without a kiss on their forehead, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house had been severely damaged by demolition and stones that had fallen from their places, which used to shelter us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out tarpaulins that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Our suffering is great, but with your help, we may reach a better life and a dignified life. May God bless you all.

Hello, my name is Iman, a mother of five children, the oldest is 15 years old and the youngest is two. I live with my family in northern Gaza. Our life has turned into a battlefield. We lost our home and were forced to flee and escape with our lives. We have been displaced eight times, moving from one school to another, and we are now living a life of homelessness and hunger. Even clean water is unavailable šš. My children are suffering from starvation and malnutrition, going to bed hungry every day. I cry for my little daughter, who is two years old, when she asks for milk, which we don't have, and her frail body survives only on flour and stale bread. She has been deprived of everything. My children long for vegetables, meat, and fruit, which we haven't had in 11 months since the war began. Our bodies have been worn down, our bones are brittle, and my son Mohamed's chest bones are now protruding along with his spine. His body is covered in scabies due to a lack of cleanliness and the absence of medicine. Our bodies are swollen from the intense heat as we live with 40 people crammed into a small classroom filled with displaced people. My children have been deprived of education, even though they are all excellent students. On top of everything, there's constant bombing, fear, and hunger every day š„ŗ. This is why I am reaching out, as I have no income to provide for their basic needs as we try to rebuild our lives
Your donations will be the lifeline for my children, offering them a chance to survive and live through these difficult and harsh conditions. Even a very small contribution will make a difference in their lives. Every dollar counts in helping them through this crisis. Please, join in lending a helping hand during this tough and challenging time.
We are in northern Gaza, bodies without life, starvation is killing us, from the youngest to the oldest. We need your support, even if it's something
If you see this, please reblog!! While donating would be preferable, sharing this with others who can donate can also help greatly if you are not able to donate yourself.
My name is Adham, I'm 20 years old, and I'm from Gaza City. I dreamed of a happy life, completing my studies, and getting a job, but the war turned this dream into something impossible šš. We lived through this massacre in all its painful details, and we're still in pain š. We were very happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the southern Gaza Strip. After we fixed a small room in our destroyed house to live in and start over, unfortunately the war returned stronger than before š. Now, we have no shelter and no source of income. We exhausted all our savings during the war. I know that I started my campaign very late, but that's because there is no other way to help my family š. I am completely confident and optimistic that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these difficult circumstances š.
I know that the feeling of starting from scratch is painful and frustrating, but I hope to receive any amount for my family š„ŗš.
Even a small donation would have a great impact on us š„ŗ. May God bless you, my friend š„°ā¤ļø.
