Tango: Um, by the way, speaking of Jimmy, he contacted me today--I know some of you guys were in his stream today--um. And, uh, he wants to come on to Hermitcraft and play some, uh, Hungry Hermits. So we're gonna try and make that happen, I think. (clears throat) And, uh--we're probably gonna do a stream next week dedicated to just Jimmy and I playing Hungry Hermits, which should be super fun. Um. I'm very very excited about that. And I also said, I'm like, hey man, I've been wanting to contact you anyways, cause I wanna play a game--like, a separate game--just. Jimmy and I. Because I just have so much fun with him. So I wanna really--I wanna find a game that the two of us can play, and, uh, make that happen. I don't know what that's gonna be yet--don't spam me with suggestions or anything right now, but. Just know that I'm also trying to make that happen. Um. Anyways. Yeah, like, at the, uh, the charity event, a couple weeks ago we spent a lot of time together. And it's just like. He's such a great guy, he's such a great guy.

The Hermits keep notes of the things that some can't safely eat for obvious reasons, but perhaps more interesting than that are the things that some Hermits can safely eat but most can't. A few examples:

Ren and Cleo can both safely consume raw meat, but only Cleo can eat it when it's rotten, owing to the fact that she's rotting herself.

Tango can eat redstone with no side-effects. Some others can eat redstone, but they really shouldn't.

Joe can eat any plastic or fabric toy food he likes, so long as he's in Juppet form.

Doc can straight-up eat anything; Jevin can consume anything that's biodegradable (he "eats" by dissolving biomatter with his slime); and Mumbo can eat anything so long as you can somehow convince him that a normal human could eat it.

Pearl can eat dirt. Apparently it goes well with fairy bread.

Scar and Impulse can both eat amethysts and diamonds. Cub could eat gems as a Vex, except for the fact that he's allergic to them when eaten (touching is fine). This annoys him more than he'd like to admit.

Zedaph can eat grass and moss. He once got peckish and took a bite out of Bdubs's cloak. Once.

As for Bdubs himself, he actually just eats sunlight.

a pixel art gif of martyn and mumbo from my stardew valley au. they’re shown in a dark cavern with many stalactites and stalagmites in the background. there is a slime behind one of the stalagmites. martyn is cheerfully leading mumbo forward by the hand, smiling wide with his eyes closed and pickaxe forward as he runs. he has a headlamp on that’s lighting their way and a satchel over his shoulder. mumbo is following behind with his own eyes closed and tilted downwards like he’s somewhat resigned. he has a sword in the hand that isn’t holding onto martyn’s. both characters are bouncing up and down in place. the whole piece has a few purple sparkles over it that twinkle in time with the bouncing.
