Mod Post: Thank You!

Mod Post: Thank You!

Thank everyone for all the asks they've sent in so far! I've gotten at least 6 asks tonight alone, and am working on posting answers for them. I'm having so much fun you would not believe working on this.

To the anon who sent the super long ask, I love it so much and I can't thank you enough for sending it. The answer will be out in a few days, as I have posts queued to be 3 a day for now so as to not run out of material. I may make it be more if I end up getting more asks.

Thank you all! I love you guys!

Signed, Mod of the Baskervilles

Ryunosuke, what happened with your little aquarium??? Are the little critters alright?? -💖

💖,

Ryunosuke, What Happened With Your Little Aquarium??? Are The Little Critters Alright?? -💖

...I forgot the aquarium.... I know it would have been impossible to bring with me, and there was so much on my mind I simply... forgot.

Ryunosuke, What Happened With Your Little Aquarium??? Are The Little Critters Alright?? -💖

Though, that being said, it really was Susato and Iris who tended to the aquarium. They named the... how did you call them? Critters? Within. They cleaned the tank and found plants to put inside of it.

Ryunosuke, What Happened With Your Little Aquarium??? Are The Little Critters Alright?? -💖

Actually, I feel as though the aquarium is going to be perfectly fine. Perhaps it will thrive now that Iris is responsible for it...

Best, Ryuunosuke Naruhodou

kazuma, picture this: you ask what ryuuno is making for dinner. he says hes already eaten. what do you do

Ribbonroad,

I think the first thing I would do in such a scenario is just silently stare at him and see if he is going to further elaborate. If he says that there is nothing left from the meal, I would raise a judgmental eyebrow at him. He tends to crumble under the weight of a simple look like that.

If he says that he made chicken for dinner, I would simply sleep hungry. If that bothers him, that is fine by me. My life long vendetta for the foul fowl was not helped by my experience on that boat.

If he feels bad about it, I would then of course assure him that it is not his fault and I would have eaten if I wanted to, but some days I am far too exhausted to make food for myself.

Barok, have you ever think about the baskerville family ever since the truth of the professor case has been out in the open

Dear anon,

In truth, I do not think much of my sister-in-laws' family. I knew that she was not overly fond of them, though she did miss them, of course. I do regret that their name has become tied up in all of this mess, as the so-called 'Hound of the Baskervilles' goes down in local legend.

There is one cousin of said family who I am rather fond of, though he has long since distanced himself from his relatives. Perhaps as condolences to their family I could bring some gift to them, or visit their home, but... I feel as though I would be less than welcome.

Haori, how do you feel after everything you've learned about Dr. Watson?

Dear Anon,

I must admit that I was entirely heartbroken when I learned of his death. I was angry and bitter and sad, knowing that a man who had taught me so much and been so kind to me had been killed. It was unfair!

And, regrettably, when Susato-chan came home, she told me all about what she had learned about him. That he had faked evidence, cooperated in a conspiracy to make an innocent man seem guilty... It was so much to deal with. I did not want to talk about it, but it was clear that my best friend needed someone to talk to about it with. So, I listened.

I've been thinking about our conversation for quite some time now. I think there may be a side to everyone's life that we would rather not know. It is hard to share every aspect of one's life, and to express your most shameful experiences. I do not know at heart what kind of man Dr. Watson was. What I do know is that he taught me great things and he was a good teacher. No matter what his character was, that will not change.

mr stronghart: put yourself back in the moment you saw asougi-san rise from the grave in front of that graverobber. imagine now at this time you had the thought that you could pay off the graverobber for his silence. would have still asked jigoku-san to murder his friend yes or no

Ribbonroad, don't be a fool.

As the situation is well and done, I can now describe what precisely was going on that night. There was never a plan to let Asougi out alive. Why would I make such an idiotic mistake? No, the entire thing was a ploy, an attempt to find the damning evidence I knew he was hiding on him. He was far too tricky, though. I should have seen something like that coming.

Jigoku's guilt was an added bonus, but the real intention was just to get Asougi out of the way. As for the graverobber, he was simply collateral damage. It wasn't supposed to be that way. If I could have, I would have gotten him killed too, buried the two men nameless together. That would have been the justice they deserved.

Enoch, would you believe me if I said that one day man would reach the moon using an as of yet unexplored method of propulsion?

Anon.

You bring up a fascinating concept. I have long wondered myself whether it was possible for man to reach the moon, or perhaps even further. I think I may believe that it is possible, though I do not know how long in the future that may be.

It is something that I myself will have to look into. I know that propulsion could theoretically be used to lift something rather than trying to imitate the flapping of wings or, God forbid, Benjamin's inane ramblings on teleportation. That being said... yes. Yes, I will have to look into the science myself.

Thank you for the idea. Enoch Drebber

To Maria- What are your thoughts on pets? Have you ever had one? What kind of pet would you want to have if you could? Signed, Ivy

Ivy,

A gif of Maria Goulloyne/Gorey talking without her mask on.

I find animals to be quite fascinating. They are the ideal companion, and can help quite a bit when trying to discover things about the human anatomy. Did you know that pigs have a remarkably similar...

I've gotten off track. I do that a bit. I'm working on it. I've been told that humans--people, that is--prefer when you stay on the one topic of conversation. It's difficult. This is another reason why animals are fascinating. As they do not understand you, they will not reprimand you for getting off topic. I find this to be quite noble of them.

And, yes. I have a lovely pet rat. She is lighter than even my hair.

I have a question for Knife Juror. You're my favourite Juror, but how do you get away with possessing a knife in court? And what is your profession? Trace.

Trace,

A gif of the knife juror flipping his knife, a nonchalant expression on his face.

I'll have you know that I'm an absolute professional. The knife is just a sign of the work I do, eh? I'm a barber by trade, Aiden is my name, and they said they couldn't find anyone else, so they let me. If they had a problem with me knife, then they should've had a problem with that girl's weird smoke gun.

A gif of the knife juror talking with a thoughtful look on his face.

And... thank you. For the favorite thing. I appreciate that.

Signed, Aiden Richmond (knife juror)

hosonaga-san what is your favorite disguise youve ever utilized on a mission

To Ribbonroad:

I shall have you know that I cannot, will not, be discovered this easily! As I am an incredible master of disguise and could be anyone, anywhere, at any time, it would be utterly foolish for me to admit what my favorite disguise is!

However, that being said, I suppose I could tell you about one of my disguises I have retired.... Hm.

All I will say is that I am quite fond of turtles.
