Yes, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, a bbc ghosts/ghost files cross over is something we need. Shane would do his thing of telling the ghosts to attack him and Julian would actually do it

I know we had a ghost hunters episode of BBC Ghosts but I would deeply love to see a cross over with Ghost Files. I think Shane would have the best time in that house and Ryan...well would be Ryan but with Kitty and Robin following him around.

One of my biggest questions about ghosts is the rules around their memories, cause the ghosts seem to remember thing that they probably shouldn’t, like Humphrey remembers what shoes Thomas’s cousin wear and that he was writing 2 letters and Robin remembers a lot of details about his death day even though it happened thousands of years ago. Robins memories could be explained by the fact that it was the day he died and that’s a significant thing but for Humphrey Thomas’s death was just another day, he probably didn’t even find out Thomas was a ghost for a day or 2. So did the ghosts get unnatural memories after death? And if so then Robin remembers almost everything he’s witnessed in his thousands of year of existence, having that many memories must be exhausting but that opposite is even worse, slowly forgetting everything about your life but still just being their gaining new memories as the old ones fade away

With people saying that Captain is a n@zi it’s important to mention that The Captain is canonically a gay man and that thousands of gay men were murdered by the n@zis during the holocaust

Reasons why headcanoning havers as a German spy is bad

-number 1: we have little to no information on him, so whilst sexuality and gender headcanons are fine, it has pretty much no basis apart from “oh he left the captain” which could have been because he was in love with the captain.

-number 2: that implies that he condones the gen0cide of millions of people, a reminder that a german spy is a n@zi. How the actual fuck is headcanoning someone as a literal n@zi not inherently problematic?!

-number 3: the captain would have had to approve havers’ transfer, it’s how the army worked back then and still works now, say we didnt have the knowledge that he never suspected any of his unit, would he let havers go if he was suspicious of him? No, of course not, from the little we know about the captain he wouldn’t risk his country like that.

-number 4: if your reason is for the angsty edits you can make, DO YOU FUCKING KNOW HOW INSENSITIVE THAT IS? People fucking died. Millions of Jews and Romani people were murdered. It was a gen0cide. That reason for the headcanon is called romanticising it. Romanticise school, not gen0cide.

-number 5: even if his last name has german origins, it is also a British last name. Additionally it would make more sense for a potential spy to be a private or other lower rank.

-number 6: the captain is the only gay character that is confirmed. That would be extremely tragic especially since it would likely bring a new wave of fans there for that arc of the story (this was inspired by a tiktok)

23rd is the blessed day. the beloved day. the incredibly haunted day. so many ghosts so little time.

I would like an episode of BBC ghosts that is just narrated by Cap like he’s talking to his pillow. I think that would be very good.

The whole episode is from his perspective recapping his day and going over his schedule. He would allude to his backstory but would never be explicit about details. And we would get some insight into his relationship with the others from his POV. Then it would end with a “Good night, old thing”.

the first episodes of bbc ghosts and watchers ghost files both coming out on september 23rd might just be enough to get me through this first month of school

Havers survived the war. And obviously Captain did, too. And so they are both heading to Button House for clearing stuff up, etc. So Captain is already there and Havers is on his way.

But again, Captain's heart. It hurts again.

He's so excited to see Havers again, though. But he's starting to feel unwell, so he collapses onto a chair. Then Havers walks in.

They smile at each other, can't believe they are seeing each other again. Then William's face changes as he looks worriedly at the Captain, whose own face contorts in pain.

'Captain! Teddy!'

Havers runs over to hold the Captain's arm, terrified as he watches him struggle to catch a breath.

'William... You're here...'

Havers slowly lowers Captain onto the floor, gently cradling his head.

'You're alright, Teddy, it's okay'

'William... Oughh!' The Captain is clutching his chest.

'Will, I'm afraid.... 'm afraid I might be... leaving... you...'

'Teddy, no, you'll be okay, just stay with me...'

'I'm sorry... I love you, always have. I'm, aghh, I'm sorry I didn't stop you from leaving. I'm sorry I didn't go with you...

'Teddy, I love you so' Havers heaved a sob. 'I'm so sorry I left you. Please don't go now, please'

Havers cradled the Captain to his chest, whispering words of love and promises, made far too late.

i absolutely dont mind, im obsessed with lieutenant havers and i can and i will talk about him forever

i have a ton of very little headcanons about him that like... don't matter at all. for example i think his favorite season is summer, his favorite color is green, and his birthday is february 14th (because that would be very cute.) i also just feel like he knows how to play the piano

i think that havers was in love with the captain as well, but unlike the captain he actually realized that he was in love with cap, but didn't say anything just because of. yknow. it being the 40s.

i also think his name was william. which a lot of people do and a lot of people forget its not canon! his name is even listed as william on his wiki page. but we all have to remember that it technically isnt canonical (even though i definitely believe the letter that said william was a love letter intended for havers. but, alas, not canon.)

i also think he's gay. ive seen quite a few interpretations that he's bi which are obviously valid but i dont personally get that vibe from him

for the trans headcanon. godspeed soldier. people who give characters trans headcanons are stronger than any marine
