Have everyone on your trip turn off their phones. Use written directions or a burner phone. Do not use burner phone to open any personal apps. Dispose of after trip.

Only use cash while purchasing ANYTHING on your trip.

Take “vacation” photos to post later. Be cautious of geo-tags/only post screenshots of the original photos.

Some people might say this is being extra or overly precautious, but this really is the reality we are facing. People have been imprisoned with murder charges in certain states- some for literal miscarriages. If you are a person that ends up in this situation, the state can and will use your data against you as evidence in court. Do not leave a paper trail. If they want to treat us like criminals, we’re gonna move like criminals.

Gun violence is a fucking daily reality for those of us that live with it. I know that we joke about how “America loves its guns” and how we all have active shooter drills now. But that…shouldn’t be a laughing matter!? This isn’t funny??!! Just a few nights ago, I heard gunshots outside my apartment. And last month or so, I was staying in the lab late at night, and security had to lock down the building because there was an active shooter inside my department building which is normally locked by keycard access at night. I spent 4 hours hiding inside my office until security gave me the all clear to go home. 

And the thing is, I still cannot imagine the terror these poor CHILDREN went through. I was so angry about Sandy Hook 10 years ago, and I’m fucking furious now. Because the thing is, there’s a certain sect of people (read: Republicans & the NRA) who are just stonewalling everything that we’re trying to do to pass sensible gun legislation. 

I need to bring 500 different documents to prove my identity to the DMV so I can get a driver’s license…and that’s for a car, whose main function is to get me around places, but has the potential to harm people if handled irresponsibly. And for SOME GODAWFUL REASON we don’t seem to have the same standards for obtaining guns??? WHOSE MAIN FUNCTION IS TO LITERALLY KILL PEOPLE?

Someone explain this to me.

Hi everyone… I usually don’t make posts like this, but I am desperate and worried as all hell.

As you may know, I’m Abby, a 21 year old with my own house.

I didn’t really think about it at first, but it’s all set in with me now that I’m on my own and I’m seeing that $15 an hour from one job and $9 and hour from my other isn’t paying my $728 monthly mortgage, $200 insurance, $70 power bill, $68 water bill and $52 phone bill.

I’ve done everything I could think of, starting by getting a third job but my mental health took a nosedive due to my bpd so I quit that one. Then I sold clothes, sold pictures, sold art, nothing really worked.

So if you could give tips on what to do, that would be amazing.

I have a dog and a cat and live by myself and really need help.

I have a month left worth of money in my savings and half of that in my checking right now and I HATE asking for help but I really need it. I even have an amazon wishlist for the essentials attached to my linktree.
