Hey guys! 

I just reached 100 followers, so let me introduce myself!

I’m Anna! I’m 24, I was born and raised in New England, and continue to make it my home to this day. I have two beloved cats, a puppy who rules my world, and a fiance I can’t wait to marry this October. My favorite poets include Sylvia Plath, e. e. cummings, and Allen Ginsberg. I have dreams of publishing a few small collections of poetry I have on the back-burner, some still in progress. Fingers crossed something happens with those in the near future! 

To my followers, I want to thank each and every one of you for following my writing journey and supporting me along the way. It means so much to me when you like, reblog, or message me your comments, compliments, and critiques! You make my world go ‘round! :) Many of you are on similar journeys and reading each new poem from such talented writers and poets is an amazing inspiration and motivation for me to keep writing. Stuffed Animal Massacre

Here and there one can find

Little puffy streams that spill through the carpet

An indication of seams split, an unknown victim,

Soft piles of proof, a give away

Leading velvet trails twisting toward the culprit

Who is sitting almost expectantly by the window

With a face

Of audacity, or guilt, perhaps both

Beaming from puppy eyes

A single string still dangling from quivering lips

As if to engrave the point
