I've got my HP Mini back!! The power surge knocked out the adapter and my HP ran out of power. I've gone through a week using Akid's laptop. Don't get me wrong, using the VAIO was fun but nothing beats the mobility of my HP.
My birthday is coming up in 10 days time! I can't wait! Hehe. But I don't know what to ask for my birthday. If I ask for a bicycle, I'll only use it for about a year then its off to college. A car would be far too expensive and Mama and Abah are adamant I get a license first. Bummer but I understand their motives. A DSLR camera? I don't want to ask for something that expensive and potentially sensitive.
Guess I'll find out or at least get something when my birthday comes. I can't wait.

And all finals are a wrap! I'm a full 2-days late I apologize. Less than 24 hours after my exam I was in NYC! Roses are of the genus Rosa in the family Rosaceae. White roses are often used to represent purity, innocence, sympathy, and spirituality. They were also once a symbol of true love before being usurped by the red rose. (at Dalhousie University)

My dad woke me up for Sahur and Akid kept waving the flashlight everywhere. The moving light can be very harsh to the eyes of someone who just woke up. Had cereal and several glasses of water for Sahur. Anyway, today marks the 52nd year of Malaysia's Independence. Malaysia has had its ups and downs. Um, I'm not sure what to say. I'm not the most patriotic person there is. Maybe its because Malaysia isn't my birth-country. Maybe it's because the mentality of most -- not all, MOST -- Malaysian's bugs me. I don't know. Maybe its everything rolled into one. But I'll still say Malaysia is a beautiful country. The holiday destinations in Malaysia are the best. And not just the well-known or popular ones either. For the traveler who takes the less beaten path, there are still many gems to be found. During the last 'summer break', I had a great time visiting historical sites with my dad. It was a lot of fun. The urban destinations -- KL in particular -- is no less impressive. The Petronas Twin Towers never fails to impress everyone who stands in its shadow. Be it tourist or citizen. I raise my hat up to Tun Dr Mahathir for doing an amazing job in modernizing Malaysia and putting it on the map. If Liyana were to find this she'd be nagging me for months saying she's found the Malaysian in me. I'd appreciate it so much if you didn't tell her, D. Thank you. I'd rather she stumble across this and delay her 'discovery' of the Malaysian in me
