Working for MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 TEAM always has its ups and down. There are days when the team does extremely well, and days when things go extremely south; it was how well they learnt and upgraded from their mistakes, that made the team as strong and dominant as it is today. The blood, sweat and tears from hard work and dedication that has given the wanted results.

Today is just like any other day in the paddock where drivers are getting ready for the race here in Singapore. The drivers are in their cars waiting for the green light. The race started and the drivers and defending and overtaking one another, fighting for the top position and hoping to get a pole while pushing each other to perform to the best of their abilities as always.

Unfortunately for George, he made a mistake that caused him to DNF close to the end of the race. The whole Mercedes garage was in shambles as they tried to console a disappointed Russell as they completely ignored the fact that Lewis had gained a pole, crossing the finish line in third place. The whole celebration went on, yet no one from the entire garage came out to congratulate him. The Ferrari and McLaren engineers realized his loneliness and decided to give him a hug. He went onto the podium and celebrated without any support from his team and seeing this caused Toto's wife to become livid at how he was treating his driver that literally made the team what it is today.

Walking into the garage, she stormed straight for Lewis. "Hey schatzi, how are y-" Toto cut himself off after his wife pushed him out the way. "Hi Lew, congratulations on your podium, I'm so happy for you! You did amazing out there!" Y/n cheered on the older man as she gave him a tight hug. "Thank you Mrs. Wolff, I did my best" Lewis blushed at the sudden admiration. "No worries here, you did just great for me and I appreciate it, unlike SOME PEOPLE!" Y/n emphasized as she stared down her husband. "As for you Mr. Wolff, weh di bumboclatt yuh feel like yaah do?! di man a work fi yuh fi how much years now and dis is how yuh treat him? yuh pussyclaat never deserve fi get nuh win den yuh dutty jankrow, move outta mi face man!" Y/n cursed in her native language walking off to the office and slamming the door, which had the whole paddock in silence since they had never heard her speak it before.

The rest of the day went by as no one spotted the previously angry woman until it was time for them to leave, she walked ahead of her husband as they came to a stop in front of the car. "Give me the keys" y/n demanded as Toto passed them over without question, thinking that she just wanted to be the one to drive; therefore was shocked to find that she entered the car and locked him out before starting the car and rolling down the window. "What are you doing leblieng, open the door?" he pleaded but it fell on deaf ears as she replied. "No, you embarrassed me today and you'll pay for it. You are not welcomed into the car and definitely not at home. You will find somewhere else to sleep that ISN'T a hotel or motel until you can apologize" before driving off and leaving him in the parking lot confused and basically homeless. The media had managed to get the footage and the entire F1 community is in chaos trying to figure out what he did wrong.

For a whole week, Toto had to be sleeping inside his office and using the shower in the change room to freshen up as he and other team members, including Lewis and George try to figure out what was to be corrected. Each day, Y/n would show up to the paddock and completely ignore her husband as she interacted with everyone but him, making him sad and almost in tears. "Schatzi, please tell me what I did wrong? I promise to fix it immediately, for whatever reason I've been wrong I'm sorry!" Toto wailed as he fell to his knees in the middle of the paddock where everyone could see the crying man who now looks like a child being scolded. Y/n looked down at the man she called her husband, contemplating before she decided to finally enlighten him. "You have been very wrong for what you did over the weekend. The way you treated Lewis was awful and I am expecting you to apologize. right here. right now." she said in all seriousness as the whole paddock watched on in shock.

"Lewis, I know I didn't congratulate you on your win and it may have seemed like I didn't care due to me addressing the issue with George, but I am really proud of you. you always do your best and aim for the highest and that makes me proud to be your team principal" Toto said, tears pouring down his face in shame that he did such act without realising. "I forgive you Toto, I know that you meant no harm and honestly I might have made the same mistake if I was in your shoes." Lewis responded as y/n motioned for Toto to stand.

Everyone went back to their regular job, of course cameras were still live as the married couple interacted for the first time. "Now you listen here Torger, both drivers are equal and should be treated as such. What happened was George's mistake therefore Lewis shouldn't have had to pay for it. the next time this happens, you will be added to the burial list, you understand me?" Y/n asked getting an immediate reply "yes ma'am. does this mean we are on good terms again? I really want to hug you and come home the end of the day?" Toto asked carefully not to piss her off again in case his punishment wasn't over. Surprisingly Y/n held her arms open for him to walk into, the couple embracing as the crowd awed and cheered at them, glad that Toto was finally in the clear.

Lewis was due for the post race meetings after changing out of his race suit, yet he was no where to be found. Walking around clueless, Y/n search from one end of the Mercedes building to the next as she went through the rooms, searching for the man to no avail.

Asking everyone she walked pass if they had spotted the Britidh driver, everyone responded saying no. At this point Y/n wanted to give up, thinking about to turn back as she thought he had went home when Roscoe came barking from around the corner.

"Hi cute boy, where your daddy?" Y/n asked the excited pup, rubbing him down as he barked happily before walking off, Y/n following him.

Walking back through the halls, Y/n became confused as Roscoe stopped directly in front of her, just staring up at her. Or so she thought as he selectively started barking and jumping while running around her legs only to stop and stare up again.

Confusingly following the puppy's line of vision, she looked up, only to find Lewis smiling down at them through the glass ceiling. "You cheeky bastard. You're late to the meeting!" Y/n yelled up at Lewis as he just laughed at her. "Get down here-" She paused mid sentence as message appeared on her phone screen, alerting her that the meeting had finished.

"You missed the whole meeting just for what reason?, I feel like I'm babysitting" Y/n sighed to herself as she watched Lewis open the glass and jump down. "Hi sweetheart, I'm sorry for hiding. Just didn't want to sit in there today." Lewis sulked as he just wanted to go home.

"You are unbelievable, you could have just asked to go home early instead of hiding up their. I'm surprised your knees didn't pop from how long you squatted." Y/n replied as they laughed loudly on their way to the garage, the ealier argument slowly being forgotten.

The last race of the season, Y/n was anticipating the arrival of the last driver for their post-race interviews. She walked from one end of the booth to the next, memorising the questions she had for him while her one-year-old blabbed in her arms.

Lewis was calming the adrenaline from the race, getting himself ready for his very last interview of the year, knowing that his ex-fiancé, which was an entire secret from everyone, was the person waiting to question him.

Y/n walked with her baby, giving him some gentle kisses before handing him off to her co-worker Jenson who took off with him to God knows where before Lewis arrived. Walking up to the booth, Lewis took his time to give her a short once over and a gentle smile; his face showing emotions of regret.

Going through with the interview, Lewis took his time listening and answering her questions sincerely. Almost finished answering a question, Lewis paused when he felt something or someone was using his legs to stabilise itself, he looks down to notice a baby with surprising features that mirrored his own and wearing his merch, giving him an almost toothless grin.

Smiling at the little one, Lewis picked him up rocking from side to side as he spoke to him. “Hi little guy, where’d you run off from huh? Where’s mommy or daddy?” He asked the toddler that was giggling away from the tickles. The baby slowly calmed down but then started getting fussy when he realised his mommy standing on the other side and so he started whining and wiggling to get free.

“Y/n I can’t find- oh thank God, you found him. Little man you have no idea how much trouble you’d put me in if I didn’t find you.” Jenson said breathlessly as he took the toddler from Lewis’ arms, leaving him puzzled for a moment looking between the two journalists. “You just wanted to see mommy, didn’t you? You can’t just go running off sweet boy, you almost gave uncle a heart attack” Jenson reasoned with the toddler who obviously was not focused on him but was stretching towards his mommy.

A big wail erupted from the now frustrated toddler as tears started pouring from his eyes. “Mama!!” The baby boy cried which knocked Y/n out of her trance as she quickly took him from her co-worker’s hands, thanking him for watching him. Fussing about, the toddler started nestling against her chest which signifies that he was hungry.

“I have one last question for you and then you’re free to go” Y/n said to Lewis as she hushed her baby whose head was now nestled in her neck. “I won’t answer that question unless you answer the one I have for you right now” Lewis countered, which had the on looking fans and co-workers silent as they awaited to hear the question and answer as Y/n nodded in fear, already knowing what the question would be. “Is he mine?” Lewis asked, the entire paddock gasping in shock as no one knew anything about Lewis having any relationships after his famous ex.

Y/n's eyes welled with tears as she nodded her head yes, walking off from the booth not bothering to ask her last question, making her way towards the journalism department. With her baby being breastfed beneath the blanket, Y/n made her way out of the department heading for the car park, when Toto blocked her path. Shifting the blanket, not only Toto but the cameras zoomed in to realise that she was feeding the toddler. “Let’s go to my office for a couple of minutes. I want you to speak with Lewis so that the both of you can have some common ground.” Toto explained as he led the crying young woman to the Mercedes motor home.

Upon entering the office, Lewis immediately rose from his seat to hug Y/n’s shaking form, helping her to sit with the now sleeping toddler. “How did you go through this, and I was unaware of it? Why didn’t you tell me? Is he doing okay health wise? Was there any complications or damage?” Lewis asked in a rush as he took his son from her arms while comforting the emotional woman. “It was fine honestly. I took a year off and asked them to tell you that I transferred to Moto GP and even though I struggled, it wasn’t that bad. The labour pain was brutal, almost broke my pelvis but it was a successful birth” Y/n ranted about her experience. “I never told you because that’s the reason you called it quits. You told me you didn’t want to have children at this time, and you wished that I would take even more of extra precautions, but it was already too late and that’s why I kept fighting to say we should have at least one, yet you broke it off and completely expelled me from anything that wasn't work related. I had no choice because you wouldn’t listen whenever I tried to speak to you before or after work, I had to do what was for me” she furthered, every word planted memories into his head as Lewis started a similar wailing as to the one his son did before, over his mistake.

“I’m sorry Y/n, I’m so sorry! I never meant to hurt you this way. If I had known I would’ve stayed, I would’ve been there helping the entire time, I had no idea what was going on with me back then and I have no excuse so I’m apologising, please let me make it right with you?!” Lewis pleaded as he hugged onto his baby and ex-fiancé. “I’m sorry Lew but I can’t grant you that. I can allow you to be in your son’s life and all, but I can’t date you again. I’m seeing someone who had been there since the beginning after you abandoned me, and I really love him. I can’t just up and leave him now that you’re back” Y/n explained making Lewis even more sad at the thought that another man had been caring for his could have been wife and son if not for his stupid mistake that cost him the woman he always wanted. He understood where she was coming from and accepted his faith.

“Thank you for allowing me to be with my son, I promise you that I’ll always be the best father to him. But can I ask a personal question if you agree?” Lewis timidly said to which Y/n nodded for him to go on with it. “Who is it…The guy you’re dating?” He asked, scared for the answer which knocked the air from his lungs when Y/n answered “Fernando Alonso”.

After the talk and planning for co-parenting, Lewis led Y/n towards the door, phone in hand buzzing off hook as every news outlet had known and started posting articles about the baby by now. Toto stood at the computer with George and Mick as Fernando was allowed in to collect the sleeping toddler. “Nice race Lewis, I know that we’ve always been rivals and all, but I promise you that your son and of course his mother is safe with me. I will never go against any rules that you might have for me regarding your son as long as we both agree to respect each other and our boundaries” Fernando explained reaching out the two men shook hands and hugged before Y/n was led away towards Fernando car. Lewis was now left standing alone as reality hit, noting that he had lost what could have been his family due to his foolish mistakes that he was sure to never make again.

Today I felt very energetic and in the mood to dance. My boyfriend Jude was in our home gym working out with his teammates ona video call, so I thought why not do a tiktok challenge and get his reaction; reason being that I had just hit 8 weeks post partom from giving birth to our son Elliot Bellingham-who was in his nursery sleeping, so I hadn't been feeling my best for a while and somehow needed a bit of validation from my partner.

Picking up the baby monitor, I took my phone and headed to the gym opening the door to find my boyfriend laughing at something that was said. "Y/n! Are you joining us?" Vini asked excitedly I walked pass, squeezing Jude's bicep in the process. "No Vini, sorry. Just getting something done" I responded as I set up my phone to begin.

Choosing the sound, I waited for the countdown and started dancing with Jude in the background looking at me as I did the dip. Spinning as smoothly as possible, I started to twerk- following the routine only to look up and realise that Jude was no longer working out but was admiring me even though he was giving me the side eye. Finishing the dance I unexpectedly heard the cheering of his teammates who had been watching, making me cover my face in embarrassment as I placed the video in my draft seeming that none of my tiktok were never posted online.

Moving towards the exit of the gym, I was stopped by Jude who gently pulled at my wrist. "Babe, you can’t do that" He whined. Looking back at his teammates who were cackling I asked "I can't do what? What's wrong?" He whined and wiggled his hips in response as I finally realised what the problem was. "Oh baby, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to cause that" I tried to console him but to no use as his erection proved to be a solid soldier while his mates were having a field day. "Judeey has risen guys, all hail...Granizooo!!!" They taunted as Vini led them. "Can you help me with this?" He rasped. "I can help you with it after your training is finished" I kissed him on the cheek and exited the room.

Leaving the gym, I headed to go pump some more milk and check up on my infant before going into my bedroom to wait for my boyfriend to return from his job. Entering the room an hour later, Jude quickly pecked my lips and ran off to the shower to rid himself of the sweat on his body. Returning to the room he stalked towards me and dropped his towel; only having to stop as our supposed to be fun time was put to an immediate end before it even started as our baby's cry came through the monitor.

"Uhh, what a day?" Jude requoted the meme as we laughed while he pulled on a pair of boxers and went to nursery, returning with our son with a warm bottle of milk in his mouth. With our backs against the headboard and the calm of our now burped and sleeping baby nestled between us, we were reminded that we had the best life could offer anyone and we love it.

The day that everyone had been waiting for has finally arrived. Lewis’ birthday was celebrated a couple of days before; therefore the entire paddock was still on a high waiting for the Mercedes team principal and his partner’s celebration.

Walking into the house, the eruption of cheers and confetti's popping, startled the couple as they jumped back in surprise. “Happy Birthday!!” The team screamed, Lewis and George running up and spraying them in champagne, leaving them drenched. The music started and screams echoed through the house as everyone pulled a partner to the dance floor.

Throughout the night, food was being ate, dance battles going for rounds, conversation flowing, and drunken devotions made, and various pictures taken,the night was seen to be well spent.

The night coming to an end with the final dance, starring the birthday lady and gentleman. The song started off as everyone gathered around. “It’s our birthday schatzi” Toto whispered silently for her ears only. “I know old guy, let’s enjoy the time” his partner joked in response. “I want to, but I’m scared that Lewis will put on a song that I don't have the rhythm for” he stressed, visibly tensing.

Just as predicted, Lewis switched the song to a more intimate and soul combining song named ‘Tender’ by Patrice Robert as this made Toto's heart leap. “Just follow my lead using your hips as you feel my movements and follow along” she whispered softly to his ears as he slowly relaxed, paying close attention to the beat.

Stabilising himself, Toto made the effort to move along in meeting her at each whine and dip, synchronising into the perfect Caribbean dance routine to the Haitian song as the crowd around them cheered and screamed whenever he would perfectly execute a move.

As the song came to an end, everyone clapped, chanting for the couple to kiss. “C’mon, don’t ruin your party old man, just kiss the girl!!" Lewis shouted over the mic as Toto pulled his wife into a passionate, earthshaking kiss.

The party finally came to an end as everyone once again wished the birthday couple a happy birthday on their way through the exit. Almost two hours later, the house was finally cleaned, both Toto and his wife showered; now cuddled up in bed as they wished each other a happy birthday before falling out in a deep slumber.

Y/n and Jude's schedules finally collided and so they both had the day off and decided to spend it lazily roaming around Madrid to soak up the sun, sight see and to overall catch up and spend some quality time together.

Jude had already gotten himself dressed in a a simple full Nike sweat suit and was waiting for his girlfriend to get ready so that they could start their adventure, when he received a message from one of his teammates with 'tea' of what happened after he left the training centre the day before.

Eager to share the gossip with his partner, Jude rose from his seat on the coach in their bedroom and walked into their dressing room talking aloud while typing on his phone. "Babe, could you believe that Cami almost got jumped cause he was talking smack yesterday in the locker room" he laughed onto the open room as Y/n shook her head at her boyfriend amusement. "Trust me honey, its very believable when you idiots seem to most of the time forget the term sense of danger" She teased him lightly, which had him lifting his head to respond only to be stunned.

"Sweetheart?.... That’s what you're wearing on our day out today?" Jude asked mesmerised as she nodded at him through the mirror, not sure of what to think if his reaction. Slowly turning Jude turned his phone off and beckoned the significantly shorter girl towards him. "Can you give me a spin, darling?" He asked providing his hand causing the young girl to blush as placed her largely smaller hand in his and spun as he stepped back to admire the view.

"Darling, oh my God you are stunning!" Jude exclaimed as he now shifted on his feet, fighting the urge to cancel the day outside to spend the day showing her how much he appreciates her in their bedroom. "Thank you, you look very handsome" Y/n blushed while shying away from her lover.

They continued on with Jude now helping Y/n to finish getting dressed then did a few checks around locking up the house before heading out on to start their day's list of adventures.

The Interview: Lewis Hamilton x Black! Reader

It was time for the press conferences and so the drivers shuffled in unwillingly since they all hated this part of their job. Everyone took their seat and away went the questions. They had been twenty minutes into the conference when a beautiful young black woman raised her hand to ask a question. Lewis noticed her and immediately started smiling as he remembered her.

“Hey, I remember you! You were at the club on Friday!” He exclaimed in excitement as the lady’s eyes went wide at his declaration. “Lewis don’t say that here, you’re ruining my reputation” The woman countered as she blushed profusely causing Lewis to smile at her. She gathered herself and went on with her job. “Hi, my name is Y/n L/n and I have a question for Lewis” She said nervously as everyone kept staring at her. “I wanted to ask how do you feel now that you’ve extended your contract with Mercedes instead of going off with Ferrari? You had given everyone quite a scare when they found out about the contract” Y/n explained as Lewis listened attentively; something the other driver and reporters along with fans have noticed. “First off I want to say that I hope you’re doing well and taking care of your stability and to answer your question, I feel great. When I got the Ferrari contract I honestly didn’t consider signing with them so the document was just on my desk in my home office up until the last meeting, I decided that since no other team reached out and I loved my current team, I would stay here at Mercedes” Lewis answered her question fully. “Thank you Sir Lewis for answering and yes I am well and my stability is as stable as it can be” Y/n answered as Lewis but the inside of his cheeks, watching as she walked back to her seat.

The press conference went on for almost another hour when someone finally addressed the elephant in the room. A male reporter walked up to the mic asking. “Sir Lewis, you mentioned earlier that you had met Ms. Y/n at the club this past Friday and you seem really happy about that. Please don’t take this in a way of disrespect but I would love to know what could have possibly happened for you to actually perk up the you did when you recognized her?” The reporter asked making Lewis smile as he held his head down, meanwhile the other female reporters were giving the poor girl nasty side eyes and the unoccupied male reporters were either winking at her or admiring her beauty as they awaited Lewis’ response. “What happened was that I had gotten the chance to dance with the lovely woman as we were both abandoned by our friends that night” Lewis recalled shyly to which the everyone awed at him.

After the interview had finished everyone packed up to leave, yet Lewis stayed behind as he realized that Y/n had went to the restroom, so he carefully packed up her bag and waited for her. The woman was surprized to see the 7x World Champion waiting for her as she headed back to her desk.

“Hi Lewis, shouldn’t you be heading back to the hotel?” She asked curiously as to why he was still there. “Yes, I should be but since I wasn’t sure if I would see you around until next week, I decided to ask you before you went missing” Lewis explained as she nodded for him to continue. “Y/n ever since I met you that night in the club, I’ve become more attracted to you with each passing day. I’ve always admired you from afar and for me to get this close to you I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Will you please consider going on a date with me whenever you’re free? It doesn’t have to be out in the public we could eat in and have a movie night or we could do some fun board games or even skincare cause I know you like that” he pleaded as he watched her think. “Ok, I’m up for it, we can do it tonight seeming that we are staying in the same hotel, you have my number that you didn’t use earlier so now you can text me your room number and I’ll be there at 7pm” Y/n said as she patted his chest softly before making her way to the garage.

Lewis looked on in amazement, smiling wide and feeling like a high school boy who just spoke to his crush as he ran excitedly to his car to get prepared for his date.

The night is very cold as the time was approaching Christmas, so everyone had to be covered up to keep warm. Lewis was able to be at home during the week to spend some time with Y/n and his daughter, Leah Hamilton; however he had to leave for the last few races of the season. The little Hamilton was very sad that her daddy was leaving again, but promised to still cheer for him while he was on the track.

It was a couple of minutes after 8pm when Lewis returned back to the apartment that was given to him for his stay while in Barcelona as he had some extra things to go over. He decided that since he was lonely from leaving Roscoe at home, he would call to speak with his family. Lewis retrieved the telephone from his pocket and clicked on his Y/n's number to start the facetime; however after a the call was answered he was surprised to see his daughter instead of his wife. "Hi daddy, how are you?!" Asked the fully-energized toddler. "Hi baby, daddy's doing great. How are you and where is mommy?" Lewis asked confused to why his wife was nowhere in sight. "Mommy went to the kitchen to clean up the dishes. Should I give her the phone?" The smart baby asked as her father nodded his head yes.

Little footsteps could be heard until a voice broke out "Leah, you can't be running on the tiles with socks. You'll fall and hurt yourself" Y/n softly spoke to her daughter as she lifts her onto the counter. "Sorry mommy, daddy is on the phone and he wanted to see you" the toddler explains as she showed her mommy the phone. "Hi babe, you look tired. Why are you out in the cold?" Y/n questioned her husband. "Yeah, I'm a bit tired. Just got back from the track and thought I'd check in to see how my beautiful family is doing" Lewis answered causing Y/n to blush. "Well Sir Lewis, if I must have you know, your family is doing quite fine just sad because we miss you being here with us" She replied making a smile appear on his face.

"Daddy, when are you coming home?" Leah asked sadly as she took the phone from her mother's hand. "Why are you asking pumpkin?" Lewis asked suspiciously as she had never asked that particular question before. "I just wanna see you. You go away very quickly after coming home and we don't have enough time for bedtime stories or cuddles anymore cause you are never at home. Daddy, do you love me?" The toddler asked on the verge of tears, shocking both parents as the baby had never mentioned feeling this way before. "Of course I love you Lele, you're my daughter. As you know I have to work to be able to take care you and mommy so I'm away a lot which is why when I'm at home, I try to spend as much time with you as possible. Please don't doubt my love for you my baby. I love you with all my life" Lewis explained as his heart was breaking at the words he heard.

"Tell you what, daddy doesn't have work tomorrow so how about you both stay on the phone until you fall asleep. He can read you a bedtime story and you both can talk about your day at school and your drawings yeah?" Y/n suggested making the toddler become excited. Throughout the time, Leah showed her daddy some pictures she drew and painted in class as they spoke about the meanings behind them, then they talked about her new teddy that grandpa Anthony gave her and what she named it. Eventually things winded down as Leah was put into her crib with the phone because Lewis wanted to speak with his baby before she fell asleep. "Leah, I want to let you know that I love you very much and I know it's hard for you to understand now that I'm away most of the time but I promise you that you and your mommy are always on my mind. I wish I could take you with me everywhere I go but that is impossible due to you having school. I want you to know that no matter where in the world I am from home, my heart is always with you. Daddy will always be here ok?" He asked as he daughter nodded her head in response. They moved onto the bedtime story where Lewis read until Leah fell asleep when Y/n came to get the phone.

"She really needed that talk." Y/n said as she walked towards her bedroom. "Yeah I know. I'll be coming home on a three hours flight tomorrow for the Christmas break. So we'll be spending a lot of ime together with her alright?" Lewis responded as Y/n became excited to have her husband back home. "Yeah, I'll make sure to keep the secret. Being the ex-wife and mother to the twins of Jimmy Uso, otherwise known as Jonathan Fatu, has never been easy. Y/n and Jonathan met during their time in High School and dated until they were 22 years old when they found out that they were expecting, they got married in a courtroom per her request which made Jon's family hate her even more since they had already thought she wasn't right for him. They ended up staying married for five more years before Jonathan met Trinity through his mom and aunts, and he officially started dating in secret with his family knowing yet no one told Y/n as they wanted her to be hurt if she was to catch them. A few months went by until Y/n caught them in their matrimonial home committing adultery. That was officially the end of their marriage after it was explained that his family was the one who set them up to date and he fell in love with her.

Today is yet another birthday for the twins and so Y/n had to deal with being around her toxic ex-in-laws. The party had already started and everyone had now gathered around to watch the kids blow out their candles and cut their cakes. Once that was done, both parents stood behind their kids for a group picture that obviously no one wanted copies of and so only Y/n was given one. The party continued on as the kids and their cousins went playing, eating while others were busy petting the animals from the petting zoo. A bit of an argument was going on as Y/n sat at the table with all the other adults, yet she paid it no mind and continued to listen to the music coming from her AirPods.

The mumbling which was actually yelling continued for a few more minutes until it suddenly went quiet after someone seemed to have mentioned something horrific about her; causing Y/n to look up to find all eyes on her, the one pair sticking out the most was her ex-husband's who looked at her with tears in his eyes as he walked slowly towards her. "Get up" Jonathon calmly ordered her, as he pulled her away from the crowd and into the house upstairs into a private room. "Jon what's wrong? You're scaring me" Y/n tried finding out the problem but was met with silence as Jon sat down on the bed and began to cry. "What happened while I was in the road?" he asked finally breaking the silence. "Do you want the truth?" Y/n asked softly in which Jon nodded for her to continue.

"While you were gone, your family never helped me. I was left on my own to study, work, take care of the house and the kids. They never visited me unless it was to get something and when they did show up, they'd abuse me verbally, mentally and physically yet I said nothing as I wanted to keep the peace with your family. I struggled a lot but made it work though many of the times, I was on the verge of giving up. Then came the disappointment of having eight different miscarriages while you were away. Throughout the years of you being on the road while we were married, you'd come home and we'd get down, I managed to get pregnant eight times but ended up losing them all before I got the chance to tell you, with two of them being the result of your mom and aunts ganging me because they didn't want me to go full term. The kids knew, your mom, wife and aunts know because they found me in pain a couple of times, but no one else has ever been aware. I screamed and wailed in pain while in the hospital, begging for them to call you but they'd just hit me in the pelvic area making it worse. I didn't say anything because they threatened me not to" Y/n explained to her now ex-husband who was not only silently crying but was also infuriated as his palms were now fists.

Jonathon said nothing as he got up and made his way towards his bag on the chair in the living room, taking out a file and walking straight into the backyard towards his family. "Jadian, Jayla? Let's go." he called out to his kids before turning to his wife Trinity. "Please note that since I've given you this envelope, we are now completely divorced, due to our marriage being void from me not signing my previous divorce papers; it means that I am still married to Y/n and as for my so-called mom and aunts, don't expect to see me, my kids or y/n at any future family gatherings as what you've done is completely unforgivable and I will not tolerate such evil." he spat at them with venom before hugging his brothers and cousins, taking his kids and heading to the car to settle them in.

Jonathan then made his way back into the house, going up to the room he left his wife in to find her crying to herself. "Hey mamas whatchu crying for?" he asked as he brought her into a hug. "I just feel like I failed everyone. I couldn't keep my family together, I was only able to give birth once during my pregnancies and so I couldn't give you the big family that you desired" Y/n cried into his shirt, frustrated with herself. "Y/n I want you to listen to me, you did not fail anyone, our family was never apart cause even though I was with her my heart was and still is with you. It was my fault for listening to my family and breaking us like that, but I promise you it won't happen again. We'll leave here and go back to Tampa where I bought us a new home and we'll never see them again." he comforted her as they made their way to the car, where they drove off to their new chapter leaving all the negative behind.
