That’s The Wrong Sister (Steve Rogers X Reader)

That’s the Wrong Sister (Steve Rogers x reader)

Request: food-books-and-bed said: Can I request a story where the reader was Natasha’s twin and was walking down the street or something and someone needed help and mistook her for Natasha and Steve was watching and he made her join the team she and Steve hookup but he falls for her

Sometimes it was almost a curse to be the twin sister of Natasha Romanoff.  It was definitely a bad choice to live in the same city, where her enemies knew where to find her and where anyone at any time could ask her to save them.  You tried to dress conservatively, hoping to cover your identity as much as possible without being totally hidden from the world.  You still had a life to live, after all.

Tonight was one of those nights that had you wishing that you would have just stayed home.  You could hear a woman screaming from somewhere nearby, but the sound seemed to come from all around you.  Moving to the middle of the street, you looked quickly for any cars before closing your eyes and listening; trying to decide which direction to run, trying to drown out the background noises of the city around you.

“Ma’am?”

“Shh!” you scolded the voice next to you, raising your hand to demand his silence.  You never even opened your eyes to see who it was, running away from him as your senses sorted out which direction the woman’s scream was coming from.  You didn’t hear him follow you either.

When you reached the alley, you stopped at the sight of a man holding a woman against a building with a knife to her throat as he rummaged through her purse.  She was doing her best not to panic, and tried to hold her reaction when she saw you in her peripheral vision as to not give you away.

“Hey,” you called out, stepping into his line of sight, “I think you should let her go before this gets ugly.”

The man pulled his knife away and released her, now turning to you.  She grabbed her bag and ran from the alley, leaving him for you.  “Hey, cutie,” he smirked in a gravelly voice that sounded old and worn, “you’ve got a lot of nerve, scaring off my catch there. You taking her place?”

“I’m here to kick your ass.”

The man spun the knife around in his hand and stepped back to lower himself into a lunge, shooting himself forward at you.  You simply shook your head and sighed, easily grabbing his arm when he attempted to swing the blade at you, firmly twisting and snapping his shoulder from its joint.  He was now lying at your feet, whimpering and begging for you to stop pushing your foot into his chest.  You grabbed his knife and slipped it into your boot, leaning down to capture his gaze.

“At least make it a challenge for me,” you mumbled.  “I’m sure you have a few questions, but I had plans that you so rudely interrupted.” You pulled out your phone and called for police to come pick him up, looking around to see if anyone had been watching.  The alley was dark and you didn’t see anyone, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was there.

Once the sirens grew closer and you could see the lights on the nearby street, you jumped to the nearest fire escape and climbed up until you were out of view, watching the man to be sure he didn’t try to run.  Satisfied with his removal, you jumped to the next building and then the next, lowering yourself to the ground to leave and resume your original plans for the night.

Back at the site of the incident, Steve watched as you disappeared into the darkness.  He stood motionless for several minutes before a dark figure dropped down next to him from above; another witness to your control of the situation.

“Rogers.”

“Murdock.”

“So, who’s that one? These vigilante types are just crawling from the woodwork, huh?”

Steve looked at Matt and sighed loudly, disbelieving what was being said.  “Really?  You mean like you?”

“Hey, this isn’t about me,” Matt said nervously, raising his hands in defeat and slowly backing away. “Okay…so…nice chat, Cap.  I best be on my way.”

Pulling his phone from his pocket, Steve paused for a moment before making the call that could change your life from this day forward.  He slowly dialed, considering his decision before entering the final number, but finally gave in and put the phone to his ear.

“Hey, Nat.  I have a few questions to run by you.  You got a minute?”

~~~
“She doesn’t want to be found, Steve.  I can’t say that I blame her.”
“Okay, but why didn’t you tell me you that you have a sister?  You’re in the same city, and yeah it’s a big city, but there’s always a chance that we would run into her.”  Steve looked up at Natasha across the small café table with a small smirk, taking a drink of his coffee, “I thought she was you.”
“She’s good.  Not as good as me, of course, but she has no problem holding her own.”
“Can you bring her in?”
Natasha sat her cup down on the table with a loud thud and a shocked look on her face as she all but choked on her drink.  “To the team?!  Are you joking?  Cap, I just said, she doesn’t want to be found.  I did say that in English, right?”
“Yeah, you did,” he chuckled.  “But all the same, I think it’s the right thing to do.”  Steve quickly took the last swallow of his coffee and stood to leave, looking down at his teammate, “you in or out?”
“I’m out.”
~~~

The overly enthusiastic and loud banging on your door startled you enough to drop your phone before you could send another reply back to your sister, who had tried to give you a little warning that he was trying to find you; you were surprised that the Captain had arrived so quickly.  You stood to open the door, but had made a firm decision to not let him in.

“Well, I must say you sure didn’t waste any time finding me.  Did she tell you or are you just that resourceful?”

“I prefer to not divulge my methods,” he said, looking down at you with a commanding presence that did anything but put you at ease.  He was more intimidating than you would have imagined after what you had read about him and what Nat had told you.  “May I?” He pushed his way through the door before you could reply, taking full advantage of your stunned silence.

“You know, that’s rude to just force your way into someone’s home.  In fact, I think that’s called trespassing, Captain Rogers.  Not very law abiding for a walking flag.”

Steve looked down at the clothes he was wearing, a pair of jeans and a simple button down shirt, and looked back at you with confusion.  “I’m not even wearing the suit-“

“Can’t escape it, sorry,” you sighed, shutting the door once you decided that he wasn’t about to leave any time soon.  “You just ooze patriotism.”  You took a deep breath and turned to look at him, doing your best to hold your resolve and not take him up on the offer that you knew was coming.  Doing your best to not fall prey to the man that Nat had warned you about only moments ago.  The man that she knew was much too close to your type, and that you would find hard to say no to.  “No thanks, Captain.  I know what you are here to offer, and I don’t want you to waste your time or energy.”

“She told you.”

“She’s my sister.  You think she wouldn’t?”

Steve took a few steps closer with a slight sense of urgency and fear that he would lose any shot to convince you of his plan before you even gave him a chance.  “Okay, but hear me out.  You didn’t break a sweat the other night; you didn’t even look like you were engaged in it.  It was too easy.  You must have skills similar to hers, right?”

“I said no.”

“Natasha told me that you were trained with her, but you stayed behind after she left the Red Room. You stayed on and trained new girls-“

Finished with his lack of respect for your answer, you stepped behind him and twisted his arm back, pushing him into the wall and pressing his face against it.  He didn’t fight back at all, not even pushing back when you held him tighter.

“What part of ‘no’ is Captain America having a hard time with?  Is it the ‘n’ or the ‘o’?  Perhaps it’s a lack of manners that’s the problem?   Do you make it a habit to just barge into someone’s home and spout off until you get your way?  Do you always get your way, Steve?  Is that it?”

You swore you heard him growl; like some strange animalistic noise coming from his throat.  You held your ground, waiting for him to turn the tables on you, planting your feet firmly to keep your leverage against him. “Hmm?  Nothing?  I thought you were more than just a shield, Rogers.”

Those must have been the magic words to spring him into action.  It a flurry of twisting arms and legs, punches and kicks, fingers weaved into hair and hands around throats, it was a matter of seconds before you were pinned to the ground and he was looking down at you.  His hands were like vice grips holding your arms to the floor; you couldn’t so much as even wiggle your fingers.

“Now that we have that out of the way,” Steve panted, “can we get back to business?  You’re skills are impressive, (Y/N).”  The look in his eyes was shifting, and softening slightly, but they were still intense and held your attention with the deepness of the blue in them.  You felt a shift in your interaction, and you could see that he did too.  “Alright…maybe…maybe it would be best if we got off the floor and talked in a more civilized way.”

He finally stood and held his hand out to you to help you up, no longer making the eye contact he had so firmly held seconds ago.  “Alright, talk,” you sighed, straightening out your shirt as you stood.  “You have ten minutes to convince me of every reason why I should go with you.”

~~~
Steve was a very convincing man.  It likely had a lot to do with the fact that you now wanted to let him convince you so you could see more of him.  You had spoken only a handful of words to him, but you listened to him go on and on about how the Avengers were a cohesive team that wanted to protect and make things right.  He was so passionate about what he believed, that you couldn’t help but be convinced, and now here you were, about to meet everyone.
“Just wait here,” he whispered, resting his hand over yours as if it were natural to do so.  When you looked down at it, he pulled away quickly and cleared his throat in embarrassment.  “Um, I’m just gonna see who’s here before you come in.  Looking so much like Nat might be a bit of a shock for them.”
After about five minutes he returned to the front door to bring you in, looking slightly disappointed about something.  “Well, no one’s here right now, but I can give you a tour if you’d like?”  His eyes were filled with anticipation that you would agree to stay, so you quickly took his hand for him to lead the way.
“Alright,” he sighed, looking down at your two hands and your fingers intertwined, seeming a bit uncomfortable at the contact.  “gym first.”
“No,” you said, pulling back against his arm to stop him and keeping your hand in place as you spoke. “You said the tower’s empty, right?”
“Uh…yeah…?”
Being forward wasn’t your strong suit, and you were usually uncomfortable showing guys any interest, but this was no normal guy.  You may never have this opportunity again, so you took the chance, pulling him down for a kiss, wrapping your other hand around his neck.  He responded quickly, pressing his mouth roughly against yours, his tongue searching desperately and dancing with yours.  You lost your breath when he lifted you from the floor, and you had to wrap your legs around him to keep your balance.
The breath was knocked from your chest slightly as he slammed your back into the wall, still kissing you with ferocity and need.  He pulled his head back and began to leave hot kisses down your neck, his warmth leaving goosebumps on your skin.
“This isn’t like me,” you panted.  “I swear…it’s just…that you…”
“I know…but I don’t want to stop myself.”
~~~

You woke the next morning to incessant buzzing from your phone and countless texts from Natasha, undoubtedly worried that she hadn’t heard from you since telling her you were going to meet with Steve.

Did you see the tower last night?

Steve said he convinced you to stop by.

Where are you?

Are you still asleep?  Wake up, already.

Have you heard from Steve?

“God, she’s persistent,” you whispered to yourself, rolling onto your back and rubbing the sleep from your eyes.  “You get to tell her, not me.”

“She’s your sister,” Steve said in a sleepy voice, “I’m not getting in the middle of that.”

“It didn’t seem to bother you last night.”  You sat up and stretched, yawning as your body pulled it’s aching muscles, “alright, then what should I say?”

“Tell her that you didn’t get a tour of the tower because I was too busy taking advantage of her only sister.”

You tapped away at your phone for a few seconds then tossed it on the table next to you.  “Okay.”

Steve’s face went immediately pale and his mouth hung open in shock.  “You didn’t…”

You gave him a mischievous smile and quietly began, “Five…four…three…two…one…”

The furious banging on his door surprised him, jumping at the sound of the angry Russian on the other side.  “Steven Rogers, you seem to have forgotten how many ways there are for me to kill you!”

Love In The Woods Part 2 (It’s Over)

*gif is not mine*

               You sat in your room at the tower, waiting to hear from Bucky. When you got back to the tower, you didn’t want to deal with your father so you went to your room. You took a shower and slipped into one of Bucky’s shirts that you had managed to steal before the whole war started. You tried your best to get a good night’s sleep but without Bucky next to you, you knew that wasn’t going to happen.

               You looked at the clock on your night stand. Three in the morning, again. You got up, got dressed in an army green sundress pairing it with a pair of white open toed heels and made your way to the lab. You decided to carry your heels with you as you made your way to the lab since people were still sleeping. You looked at the monitor as you walked in. You smiled at the fact that you solved equation that you were working on yesterday, all the components were right. Your smile fell when you saw there were two more equations that needed to be solved. You walked over to Bruce’s tea machine and made yourself a cup a tea. You started working on the first equation, spending the next seven hours plugging in components. Solving it at the end of seven hours of work. That was when you heard someone walk into the lab.

               “Hey sweetie.” You recognized that voice as Pepper’s voice. “How’s everything going?”

               “Good, just got another equation solved for dad and now I’m getting ready to start on the next one.”

               “That’s not what I meant, sweetie.” Pepper always was like a mother to you and she always knew when something was different about you.

               You looked from the screen in front of you to her. “I don’t know what you mean Pep.” You tried to play it cool.

               “I know when you’re lying to me. You’re almost as bad as your father.” She placed her hands on her hips.

               You sighed a little, you hated that you haven’t about the baby. “If I tell you, will you promise not to tell dad. I don’t want him to freak out.” Pepper nodded her head. You took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. “I’m pregnant.”

               She didn’t really looked shocked but she couldn’t contain her excitement. She wrapped her arms around you, giving you a huge hug. Tony walked in at that moment with the two usual cups of coffee, setting them down on the table next to you.

               “What’s going on?” Tony looked from Pepper to you, confusion written all over his face.

               “Nothing.” Pepper grabbed one of the coffees from the table before walking out of the lab.

               “What was that all about, (Y/n)?” Tony looked at you still confused.

               “Absolutely nothing, can’t Pep and I get along?” You looked at him, trying to remain as calm as possible.

               Just then the com device on your wrist started to make noises. It was from Bucky. Before Tony could ask you any questions, you practically ran out of the lab. You looked down at the device and it showed that Bucky was here in the building. Little did you know that Tony was hot on your heels. You made it to the elevator before Tony could get in, causing him to get mad.

               You had FRIDAY override every request to enter the elevator from anyone that way you can get to the lobby before Tony. You managed to get there within minutes and once you got there, the scene you saw wasn’t what you had in mind.

               Stepping out of the elevator, you saw Bucky and everyone on Steve’s side of this stupid war surrounded by men armed with automatic rifles. You ran over to Bucky, shoving one of the armed men out of your way as you wrapped your arms around Bucky’s waist.

               “Hey there, Doll.” Bucky kissed the top of your head. “I missed you.”

               “Funny, I don’t remember ever missing you.” Tony walked through the group of armed men. “Hell, I don’t remember telling you to ever come back here.”

               “You didn’t but I did.” You stepped in front of Bucky as Tony started walking towards him.

               “Why would you ever invite this monster into my tower?” Tony was pissed and you knew it but yet you didn’t care.

               “First of all, he is not a monster. Second, I love him and I don’t give a damn about what you have to say about him.” Your confidence grew as Bucky placed his hand on your lower back. “You don’t want to give up on this war, do you? You want Bucky and Steve along with everyone else to sign over their rights to live and protect those who can’t defend themselves.” You looked at Tony, right square in the eyes. “I’m not going to live in a building that no longer feels like a home when the father of my child is not sleeping next to me all because their grandfather wants to let the government control everything he does.” You didn’t give Tony a chance to respond to the fact that you said you were pregnant. You turned to Bucky and wrapped your arms around his waist one more time. “Let’s go Buck. If you are not welcomed in this hell whole, than nether am I.”

               You and Bucky turned around, walking out the door. You saw your motorcycle sitting outside with Pepper standing there waiting for you.

               “How did you know?” You looked at her confused.

               “I know Tony. I’ll talk to him, you go be happy since you are not happy here.” You let go of Bucky and gave Pepper another big hug.

               “Thank you so much Pep. You are truly like a mother to me and I couldn’t have been bless with anyone better.” You let go of Pepper as she handed you your helmet. You took off your com bracelet and handed it to her. “If you need to get a hold of me, this will. It’s connected to the one Bucky wears and only to his. It’s untraceable. It’s something I learned how to make from dad but I perfected his tech.” A big smile spread on her face as she took the device. “Also, tell Nat that I’m sorry for not telling her.”

               You slide your helmet on your head and straddled your bike. “Take care of her, Barnes. If not, you’ll have to deal with me and I’m worse than Tony.” You laughed as you started your bike while you waited for everyone else to be ready to leave. Clint, Wanda, Scott, and Sam climbed into a van while Steve and Bucky had their own bikes. Once everyone was ready you all took off.

 *Tony*

                 Tony practically ran back to the lab, stopping off at the bar on the way. He sat in his lounge chair in the lab with a bottle of scotch in hand as Pepper walked into the lab. He didn’t even look up at her as she walked in.

               “She’s gone.” He took a large swig from the bottle. “My baby girl is gone and I forced her out.”

               “Yes, Tony. She left not because of you but because of what has happened.” Pepper walked over to Tony and took the bottle from him. “She choose to keep her family together.”

               “I was the one who ripped it from her. As a father, how could I do that to her? I practically locked her up here away from him because of my own selfish needs.” He looked up at Pepper, tears ready to fall at any moment. “She was right. I’m not the man I once was.”

               “You may not be but show her that you are willing to fight for her. You may not like who she is with but she is her own being, she has chosen for herself and she is happy.”

               “I’ll show her I’ve changed.”

 *Time skip-5 months later*

                 You sat on the sofa with Wanda siting on your left with Bucky on your right with his human hand on your belly as you two cuddled on the couch. Sam and Steve were called out for something and left Scott, Bucky, and Wanda with you. Scott was in the kitchen making something for everyone to eat since you have been craving waffles and strawberries lately. All while Clint was at his farm.

               “How is little Stephanie doing today, (Y/n)?” Wanda looked over at you as you were curled up into Bucky side.

               “Great, I think she may be into kickboxing since this is the first time today she hasn’t kicked me.” You felt Bucky chuckle beside you. “It’s not funny, Buck. You try being pregnant with a super soldiers baby and see how you like it.” You playfully smacked his leg.

               “Leave her alone, Buck. I’ve seen the little printessa kick and the expression on (Y/n)’s face.” Wanda placed her hand on your leg and rubbed it affectionately. “Plus, (Y/n) has been worried about her father lately.”

               Bucky looked down at you, he felt you tense up when Tony was brought up. He wrapped both of his arms around you.

               “Foods ready, guys!” Scott called from the kitchen. Wanda stood up and helped you up. Your baby bump making it a bit hard to get up. Bucky helped you up from the couch with his hands on your ass.

               “Really, Buck? You have to help out that way.” You look down at him as you stood in front of him.

               “Hell yeah. I love your ass plus I get to be level with little Steph when I do.” You ran your fingers through Bucky’s hair as he kissed your belly while telling Stephanie that he loves her.

               Just then Steve and Sam walk through the door. “Hey (Y/n). There’s someone here who wants to see you.” You looked at both men very confused.

               “Tell them to come in, I’m heading into the kitchen. Scott made some waffles and I can hear them calling for me. Plus little Stephanie is hunger, Steve. You’re gonna tell me to wait to eat and let your god-daughter starve, how dare you.” You cocked an eyebrow at Steve as you fake a hurt expression.

               “Fine go eat.” You knew he couldn’t deny you anything when you told him it was for your baby. “I’ll show him in in a few minutes. Bucky, can I talk to you for a moment.” Bucky nodded, kissed your forehead as he got up off the couch.

               “I’ll be back in a few minutes. Try to save food for everyone.” You smacked Bucky on his right shoulder before he walked out of the room after Steve.

               You walked into the kitchen and made yourself a plate of waffles. You even grabbed a bowl of strawberries along with whip cream and syrup for your waffles. “Thank you soooo much Scottie. You are amazing.”

               “Your welcome (Y/n).” He walked around you and gave you a quick hug.

               You sat at the table and ate your waffles. Even got up a couple more times for more before Steve and Bucky walked into the kitchen followed by someone you haven’t expected, your father.

               “What are you doing here, Tony?” You were one to call him by his name when you were pissed. “Thought you had a war to fight.”

               “I changed my position on everything. I had someone convince me to think of others besides myself. Besides, I had Romanov threaten me every day to end this.”

               You had missed Nat so much over the past five months. You knew she would do anything to keep you safe. “When she found out about you being pregnant and after she saw the footage from the lobby, she practically ran into the lab with a knife trying to kill me.”

               “Well, you know how she is when it comes to me.” You looked at Tony, trying to figure out what he was doing.

               “I have ended this ‘Civil War’ and changed sides on the Accords. Everything is over and the fighting stops. We can be one big happy family again.”

               You got up from your seat as quickly as you could and waddled over to your father, pulling him into a much needed hug.

               “It’s all over”

You did good Chris.

You gave an entire generation a shining star in Steve Rogers. Not only in strength, but in courage. In valor. In getting back up every time you fall, in fighting for what’s right even if everyone is against you. In being kind, being selfless, being determined, being loyal.

It was never about the super speed, strength, and shield for me.

Steve is hope, inspiration, a friend during the darkest of times, a beacon of light when the world is against you. Steve is adjusting in a place you don’t feel like you belong, loving so fiercely you become almost reckless, sorrow so painful it makes you ache, smiling despite it all and holding yourself tall.

Thank you Chris for taking on this role even when it terrified you. Thank you for embodying this character, for not only portraying his ideals, thoughts, and behaviors so perfectly, but for adopting them and working towards being a better man.

I’ll always believe we deserve a more Steve central cap 3. Maybe one day we’ll get that.

But for now, I just wanted to say, Captain America won’t disappear even if Chris is done playing Cap. Even if someone reprises the role, there’s only ever going to be one Cap. Chris is an iconic Steve Rogers. Even if A4 is the last time we see him on screen, he has a place in our hearts that ensures his legacy, his love, his story will always be there.

That little guy from Brooklyn who was too dumb and too brave not to run away from a fight, I’ll follow him forever.

Thank you Chris Evans for being our Captain. Thank you for bringing Steve Rogers to life.

You Did Good Chris.

First Impressions (Young! Loki X Young! Reader)

Words: 1634 Pronouns used: She/Her Warnings: fluff

Your POV “Come along (Y/n), this will be fun!” My mother squealed.

“Odin and Frigga have two boys around your age, now that I think about it.” My father followed up. I sighed and rested my hand against my chin, looking out the window of the carriage. “At least pretend to be excited when we get there.”

Putting on my best smile, I giggled. “Of course, father! Why wouldn’t I be excited?”

“That’s the spirit, dear.” The carriage came to an abrupt stop in front of a large castle. The driver helped us out while his assistant grabbed our luggage and carried it to the front door. A large, burly looking man opened the door and shook my fathers hand.

“Faas! Good to see you!” The man boomed. “And Alva, you still look as beautiful as ever.” (They are your parents)

“Odin, wonderful to see you too.” My father smiled. The two had been friends since childhood, and they hoped you and Odins sons would get along as well. A lady dressed in gold appeared behind him.

“Invite them in, Odin.” She said.

“Hello Frigga!” My mother practically sang. The lady ushered you in, and you gathered in the kitchen.

“Of course, you two know (Y/n).” My mom gushed.

“Oh, we haven’t seen you since you were a babe. If you wish, our sons are in the library.” Frigga smiled.

I thanked her and rushed out of the room, my dress flurrying behind me. I roamed the castle, peeking behind all the doors in attempt to find the library. I passed a room, poking my head in to see two boys. One was sitting in a chair reading, while the other was leaning on the back of the chair.

“Come on brother! Let’s spar!” The blond one whined.

“Thor, I’m trying read.” The black haired one replied.

“But Loki-”

“I’ll spar with you.” You interrupted. The two looked at you in surprise before Thor started to laugh.

“You? You are merely a girl!” Thor chuckled. “But if you really want to go, I’ll go easy.”

He led me to a room with matts on the floor and padded walling. Loki counted down, still engrossed in his book.

“Go.” Thor came towards you at full speed, attempting to take you down. I side stepped, taking his arm and flipping him which took him down for the count.

“I never thought a lady could be so… Manly!” Thor exclaimed. “I am Thor, and this is my brother, Loki. What may we call you?”

“(Y/n). (Y/n (l/n).” I laughed. “Say, could you show me back to the library? It was rather big and I’d love to look at what books you have.” Thors face fell, but he reluctantly led the way, Loki trailing behind us.

I grinned excitedly, thanking Thor before running off to find a book. “Aha!” You exclaimed, twenty minutes later, holding a midgardian book called ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ I began to climb down the extremely tall ladder, but it began to wobble, causing me to loose my footing. “oomph!” Was I dead? No, I couldn’t be. So how…? I opened my eyes and saw Loki holding me bridal style.

“You really should be more careful. You’ll get hurt if you keep being so reckless.” I’m sure in that moment, my face would put a tomato to shame.

“Thanks. Can you, uh, put me down now?” He set me down on the ground gently before going on his way. I found a chair in the room, sitting on it and beginning my book.

“Miss, dinner will be served soon. You’ve been requested by the sons of the household.” I looked up from my book at the maid.

“Of course. Would you mind showing me the way?” I asked.

“Not at all.”

Third person POV

That evening you sat under the covers on the guest bed, reading a book about constellations and midgard with a flash light. A knock on your door could be heard, but you were so caught up in the information that you didn’t hear it. The door creaked open, and a grumpy looking Loki walked in.

“I can see your light from across the hall, would you please go to bed?” He seethed.

You peeked out from under the covers and shone your light on him. “Sorry, but this book is really good!” He walked over and threw back the covers to reveal you and your book.

“You like Midgard?”

“Yes, it fascinates me! The constellations, their methods of buildings. Oh, my favorite era was the 1950’s!” You began to explain.

“Well one day, I’m gonna rule Midgard.” He grinned. “If you want, I’ll let you help me take over.”

“But we barely even know each other!”

“So? I’ll need a queen.”

You stared up at him and laughed. “Yeah, alright!”

The next day, you wandered down to the library with the large book, having agreed to meet Loki there last night. You heard girlish voices and a few deep chuckles coming from inside.

“Oh Thor, you’re so smart! Could you maybe help me with my homework?”

“Yes, me too?” Two girls sat on either side of Thor, pressing their cleavage up against him and looking ‘oh so lost.’ Loki sat across from them, back to you.

“Of course!” Laughed the blond. “I was always taught it is only polite to help ladies.”

You snorted and quietly walked behind Loki, throwing your arms around him.

“Hi Loki! Whatcha reading?”

“Hello princess (Y/n). It’s not of importance.” He shielded his book. You shrugged it off and sat down next to him and took out your book. The girls continued to press themselves onto Thor, and you could practically feel Loki’s annoyance of his brother getting all their attention.

“Loki, how do you say this?” You feigned stupidity. He raised a brow at you, but complied all the same.

“Eccentricity.”

“Right.” You said, bringing a finger to your lip. “And that means…”

“The measure of how an object’s orbit differs from a perfect circle. Eccentricity defines the shape of an object’s orbit.” He described. The girls eyes were now on him, and they whispered to one another. They got up from their current spots and shoved your seat away, sitting next to the black haired god.

“Wow Loki, you’re so smart!” Exclaimed one

“Yes, and handsome, too.” Said the other seductively. The boy began to bask in their attention, now ignoring you.

Looks like your plan worked too well.

Smiling sadly,you got up from the table and left the library, strolling through the gardens and occasionally meeting up with Thor throughout the rest of the day.

That night you slept soundly in your bed. That is, till someone shook you awake.

“What?” You groaned.

“Sh. I need you to come with me.” Loki whispered.

“Wh-”

“Just do it!” You were taken aback, but followed him all the same. He led you through the gardens into an open field where he sat down with a big book.

After a moment, you joined him in the wet grass.

“You said you liked stars, right? Well, that’s the constellation Orion, and that bright orange star is beetle juice. The one shaped like a pot is the Little Dipper, and if you look a little farther, you can see the Big Dipper.” He explained, pointing to each.

“Where’d you learn all this?” You asked, fascinated.

“The book I was reading earlier. Speaking of which, this is for you.” He slid you a large, leather bound book with gold lettering. “It’s all about Midgard and heavenly bodies. Thought you might like it.”

“Thanks!” He stiffened when you hugged him.

“You are very welcome.”

The two of you say like that for hours until you were falling asleep. He picked you up and carried you back to the castle, where he found two guards and his parents standing there.

“If you are going to blame someone, I’ll take it. I forced her out with me.” He explained sturdily. His parents sighed and Odin took the small sleeping girl back to her room. Frigga led Loki back to his.

Her words said, “We aren’t angry,”

But her face said “You’ve disappointed me.”

The boy didn’t sleep easily that night, knowing he was in trouble, and that he may have gotten his friend in trouble as well.

When he woke up the next morning, he found (Y/n) crying in the dining room as her parents punished her for her actions. He decided in order to no longer get her into trouble, he would keep away.

(Y/n) didn’t understand why he stopped talking to her out of the blue, but she did know that when she went home three days later, she was upset when he didn’t see her off.

“He didn’t even say goodbye!” She cried to her mother that evening, clutching her dress. The book he gave her sat on her bedside table, pages already worn from how many times she thumbed through it.

Her mother left the room not too long after, and the girl was alone once again, or so she thought.

“I’m sorry I didn’t see you off. I thought you would be angry with me for getting you in trouble.”

The (h/c) haired girl looked up. “L-Loki?” She sniffed.

“Only a projection, but yes, it’s me.”

(Y/n) began to laugh. “You idiot! Getting in trouble is worth it when you have fun.” She explained.

He threw her a confused look before grinning. “So we can still be friends?”

“Of course! My family and I will be visiting again soon. Could you tell me more about Midgard?” You pleaded.

Loki gave a soft smile. “If you wish, princess.”

Broken Heart- A Peter Parker Imagine

Anonymous Requested: Can you write one where Peter comes to YN’s really hurt and she has to patch him up and make sure he’s safe and no in anymore pain, a few weeks after he tells her he’s Spider-Man and he tries to break up with her but she’s like, No im kinda in love with you, and maybe they end up sleeping together or something? (Doesn’t have to be sexual- preferably not lol)

Broken Heart

A rapid knock at your window awoke you from your slumber. You were so close with Peter that you could tell the difference between his knocks based off of his moods. His usual knock was very playful, but this rapid succession knock let you know that whatever it was was an absolute emergency. You looked over at your clock and it read 2:06 in the morning. What could Peter have done at 2 in the morning? You crawled out of bed and opened up the window, Peter falling in, quite literally. You gasped as you could see your carpet build up blood from Peter.

You rushed over to him, and rolled him over. He winced in pain as he held his arm which had a long cut running down it. “Peter, what happened?” you asked, as you ran to get towels. You applied pressure to the wound and looked up at him to see him looking in concentration. “I got in a really bad biking accident”. You knew that this was a lie because of how long it took for him to come up with that. You let it slide however because he was in enough pain as it was. You bandaged him up and hugged him tightly, thankful that he was ok. “I’m glad you are ok,” you whispered against his chest. “Yeah, me too,” his mind wandering to the truth.

The truth came a few weeks later. You had started to grow distant and Peter knew it was because you felt that he wasn’t being truthful. He knew it was time to come clean. He asked if he could come over to your house, which was unusual since he always just came over unannounced, which is what you liked about him. You knew that something was going to happen, you just didn’t know what. He came in through the window as always, but the look on his face told a different story from the usual face Peter had. “Peter, what’s wrong?” you asked, knowing that he was upset. He just told you to sit down on the bed next time. You sat next to him and slipped your arm through his, but he just slid out of your touch. “[Y/N], I need to be really honest with you,” was all he was able to say. He started to fidget with his hands, which was something he did when he was nervous.

After a few seconds of silence, Peter turned to face you. “There’s no lighter way to put it: I’m Spiderman. I was bit by a radioactive spider and I now try and protect the city. That’s why I came to your house the other week, I had been fighting someone and I got hurt. I’m so sorry”. You gave him a confused look. “Why are you sorry?” He stared in your eyes for a second, almost contemplating his next words when he said, “Because I’m breaking up with you”.

You shook your head and wiped away your tears. “No, you can’t break up with me”. He gave you an estranged look and asked “What do you mean?” You gave him a serious look and said “Because I’m in love with you”. You two had never said those words before, so it took Peter aback for a moment. “[Y/N], I love you too, but I’m doing what’s best for you”. You knew he meant no harm but his words brought rage in you. “You’re doing what’s best for me? If you were doing what’s best for me, you’d ask me. I love you and you love me, you don’t have to worry about keeping me safe. Staying together is what we should do. You can’t fight with a broken heart,” you held onto Peter as if your life depended on it. He held onto you back after a moment, knowing you were right.

Thank you so much for being so supportive! I’m leaving Florida in a few days, so I’ll be much more active! Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Playing House

Author: Mikala

Characters: Clint Barton x Reader

Word Count: 2,500

Warnings: Maybe like one swear word?

Author’s Note: This was also supposed to be a drabble… I am known for going above and beyond. The prompt was “I needed someone… And you were the only one I thought of.” I made up a cousin/family members for Clint. As always in my fics, Clint’s wife and kids do not exist in this. Let me know if you want a smutty Part 2?

Playing House

Makeup scrubbed off, freshly showered, hair pulled up, pajamas on. You bed was calling your name, and as far as you were concerned, nothing was going to pull you away from it. You had just laid down, pulled the covers over your body, and found a comfortable position when you heard your cell phone’s text alert sound go off. You groaned, tempted to ignore it, but it went off twice more almost immediately afterwards. You figured that if it was an emergency, whoever it was would have called you rather than texted… But then again, who would text you three times in a row when it was almost midnight? Your curiosity got the better of you, and you found yourself rolling over to grab your phone from your nightstand. You smiled when you saw the messages were from “Merida.” You had a fierce love for all things Disney, and maybe a little crush on a certain archer friend of yours, so that was what Clint’s number was saved as in your contacts. You quickly scrolled through his most recent texts to you.

EMERGENCY. I NEED YOUR HELP ASAP –Clint

Ok well… It’s not really an emergency but I would appreciate your help –Clint
