riddle isn’t that insanely smart kid who’s on the debate team with you. for whatever reason it is, whether it be his dream goals or because his mother set certain precedents for him to achieve, he does everything scarily well on everything. you never knew him too well, just well enough to get your team pass competitions, but you wanted to know him better. he was always invited to the post win parties, but almost never wanted to actually take part in them, making up excuses for himself to not attend. just as you were leaving the auditorium to walk towards the buses, you caught up with riddle, gently tugging his arm to get his attention. it shouldn’t have made him blush the way he did. you practically begged him to join you for the party being held at one of the other member’s homes and he reluctantly agreed. he thought it was worth it for the way you smiled. “ i see… well, i suppose, i could accompany you… but of course ! it’s for the sake of sportsmanship ! ”

cater isn’t that social media star of your school. you are his friend. not the kind of friend who just kept him in good graces for the sake of clout, but instead the friend who could see through all of his happy captions. you were always there for him, but you didn’t know if you’d be there forever. graduation was steadily approaching and you grew solemn at the thought of you both losing that connection you had. you blamed it on school, but the reality was that time simply didn’t think that the two of you would be going down the same path. and then the night before graduation came. he was on your bed, painting his nails for the next day and you were engrossed in your books. that was until he looked at you and spoke about his worries of your drifting. the dam broke and you cried about how you didn’t want to lose him to others who’d never know him the way you did. his words reassured you, “ we’re gonna be close all the way till we’re old. who else is gonna be able to get the perfect pictures for me ? ”

deuce isn’t that cute guy who sits next to you during the lectures. he’s always so focused on his work, unless he’s asking you for extra help. his brows are usually furrowed, his bottom lip pushed outwards slightly, and his eyes filled with a sense of urgency. so, you’d lean over and explain the lesson to him in simpler terms. your whispers would kiss his cheeks and paint them peach, and he’d pray you wouldn’t notice. you help caused his grades to raise, so he thought to seek you for extra help outside of school. he told you that he’d pay for your help, but you refused his money and decided that payment would be best through a date. if only you had known how much his heart burst at the thought. over the week, he studied with you at your home and on the weekend, he took you on a lovely date to a nearby creek. you sat beside him, feeding the ducks as they came close to the both of you. “ i really like these ducks. i used to come here a lot when i was younger and even named a duck at some point. ”

ace isn’t that total asshole that you’ve been friends with forever. you went to preschool, high school and now college together. in college, you began to notice a shift in his character. he was trying to climb up a social hierarchy, one that you would never fit in. you never said anything about it, just turning his invites down, since you actually cared about your grades. or so you would say. in reality, it was hard for you to watch ace lose himself in the presence of people who’d never met his heart. he missed out on your birthday, just so that he could go and hang out with people who could care less about his well-being. you went to your dorm and cried and cried till your throat ached. ace only realized how badly he messed up, half-way through the hangout. when he did realize, he left immediately, going out and buying all the things he knew you liked before barging into your home with three bags in each hand. “ i’m such an asshole and i should’ve listened to you. i fucked up , but i still want to hangout with you tonight. ”

trey isn’t that student who also works at a nearby bakery. he’s pretty well-known around the campus, but not in the super popular way, but in the reliable way. he’s always been the type of student who’d just give the answers or extra notes when someone asked. he also made the most horrible april fool’s jokes when the time came, but other than that, you never had an opinion of him. that was until the day you came into the bakery, just five minutes before closing, tears streaming down your cheeks and books in your arms. you had the worst day ever, as you called it after you explained that your partner cheated on you, and that you were failing in a class because of an absence that you forgot to call in. he decided that it would be fine to close the bakery later that night. soon enough, you found yourself frequenting often, either to study with trey or even just to chat with him while he works. “ hmm ? i don’t mind you visiting all the time. just like the first time i told you , the doors are opened to you all the time. ”

Oooh you're so right, Riddle and Epel do deserve a lot of respect for their hard work!! I think the other guys at spelldrive club might have made fun of Epel the first time he went to pratice only for him to prove his height means nothing and he's just as determined as them! now for Riddle, the problem was the horses since they can be hard to handle, depending on it's personality, but I'm sure he did the best possible job and his horse respects him a lot!!

LMAO I GET U, I think it's pretty clear I'm not athletic as well, couldn't even imagine doing all the things I put reader through (actually, I've only ever played basketball before on pe classes, the rest I had to do a lot of research so it was very insteresting to write!)

oh yes, i remember that exact scene and song!! though, i first knew the song from a random memory of my pre-k years lol. the pre-k i went to taught us basic french for some reason, and they taught us the "Alouette" song early on. but as a four-year-old, it didn't really register in my head exactly what the song had meant (like many nursery and children's songs), so you can imagine the shock future me had when i found out what the song was truly saying 💀 the poor bird

tbh, even when I was a little kid at the age that you're still expected to like kids shows I was made fun of by some classmates because they were more "mature" and that was just a "silly cartoon for little kids", but the point is: I was a little kid!! let me enjoy those things!! even today I really like cartoons, I love animation, even if it's "for little kids".

maybe that's the neurodivergency talking as well, but there's just something about them, you know? perhaps I like the simplicity or the heartfelt messages of love and friendship, maybe even the nostalgia, or I just want to give my child self something that she can enjoy without being ashamed of it.

MLP is such a nice show, the characters are all very different and have nice designs, the story is cute and manages to pass on messages that are important, be it for children or an older audience. a few days ago I was actually rewatching the Equestria Girls movies to remember how they were, since I used to LOVE them when I was little! (the songs still slaps)

I really like shows like Gravity Falls and The Owl House, that may be considered childish simply for the fact that they are animated. even if it's intended for a younger audience, they are so well made they capture the attention of anyone watching!! I also love to watch any new animation movies that comes out, since they are usually so cool! even old ones, as this past vacation I had a disney movie marathon and enjoyed getting to see the stories with new eyes, still remembering how I watched them as a kid!

people who judge other's interests are just so rude without a reason. why does me enjoying something I like a lot bothers you so much you couldn't stay quiet? I don't care if it's "cringe" or whatever, just let people enjoy things in peace!! there's something so beautiful in being able to find happiness in little things and I love when someone starts talking about something they like, since you can feel their passion and they eyes light up and they get excited, it's very cool!

even sometimes when something is not for kids, people might make fun of you for it? for example: animes have a reputation of being for kids since they kind of are very exaggerated, be it in fights or just anything really, and they are animated. that doesn't mean it's only for kids! there are some anime that I wouldn't reccomend for a kid to watch, since there might be some heavy topics in them. honestly, people just like to find a reason to make fun of others sometimes because their lives are getting boring without it and they couldn't find anything better to do with their time. (I garantee you, as someone with a very busy life, I couldn't care less if one of my friends enjoys watching kids shows or playing with dolls or doing whatever, as long as they aren't hurting anyone then they're good in my books).

so, in conclusion, even when people might judge you for it, I don't think you should stop doing the things you enjoy! be unapologetically happy! at the end of the day, they won't get any satisfaction from making fun of you, but you'll still be happy with the things you like. especially if you find other people that share your interests! what others say doesn't really matter, your life is yours and only yours to judge, and there are already so many problems out there, there's no need to create problems that don't really exist, you know? liking something "childish" isn't a problem and it shouldn't be a problem, so just enjoy what you like without feeling ashamed for it!

OH ALSO the end of the halloween event was so much fun!! in my totally not super biased opinion Octavinelle slayed the most <3 but Heartslabyul and Diasomnia did so well too... Pomefiore and Ignihyde had me rolling lmao, Scarabia made me so proud of Kalim and Savanaclaw were little shits it was so funny. the ending was so sweet, I loved to see them interacting like that !!

if you manage to attract Jade's affection, you must be quite something. I think he'd like someone who's curious and, like his brother, someone that doesn't stay stagnant and complacent, but is always looking ways to improve and to change! it helps to keep things far from boring! also, he'd like someone who listens to his interests and is willing to indulge him from time to time, even if they themselves don't actively take part in them. he'll gladly listen to them talking abt their interests in exchange! perhaps while they share some tea and the newest mushroom dish he's created...

hmmm, noticing that Jade has a crush would be quite hard, seeing as he's naturally more discreet. I think he'd talk more with his crush, not that he'd become a chatter box, mind you, but he'd be happy to share his interests with them and, depending on how far their trust relationship is, he might be willing to share a bit about himself, too. he'd be very curious and attentive to what they like and make sure to remember it, either so he can bring up in conversation later or so he can buy/make it for them. he'd be very teasing, but it's just that he likes the banter! having someone that can keep up with his light hearted jabs and throw back some equally as good can be very entertaining! I also think he'd like someone that can indulge him with some more serious topics of conversation that might require some more brain stimulation. if they can offer him new perspectives on things, he'd be delighted!

I think he's very atunned with his feelings and would notice if he's got a crush on someone, tho at first he'd proceed like normal just to see how things play out and to observe a bit more his own reactions, as well as theirs to check if it might be reciprocated. he might want to try to spend more time with them even with his busy schedule, convincing them to visit the lounge or to take a walk with him at the botanical garden. he miiight make some flirty remarks here and there or some more casual touches if he's got suspicions of them liking him back, but it would be nothing too remarkable and still subtle. he'd also act more like a gentleman/butler type around them and do little service acts (for free!! mostly). he might get a bit protective, if anyone is giving them trouble, all they need to do is say it to him and he'll take care of it :)

and if you manage to fluster him?? HE'S IN DEEP. take him by surprise, be with heartfelt gestures and words or a bold move forward, and he'll be so enthusiastic. he'll love to see what other unexpected things you'll do next!

I think Jade might also like some more domestic settings? while he enjoys his daily entertainment and healthy dose of chaos, getting some time to sit back and just have a quiet and peaceful moment with his love can be equally enjoyable. getting used to each other's presence and routines, doing little things for them and knowing each other in and out! just the intimacy and trust involved...
