i feel like shit
who up thinking about dead poets society and the fact that you'll never experience it because instead of being born an east coast boy in the 1950's, you're a west coast girl in the 2020's and you've never been to boarding school and yet you feel a deep connection to the film because you too have unsupportive parents and dreams of theatre and poetry and art
is having crushes on boys real?
cause I genuinely thought it was a bit. like....idk growing up a closet lesbian with parents who hate each other made me think that heterosexual love wasn't real but you deal with it anyway cause that's life. come to find out that some women are obsessed with their boyfriends like...for real...
an angelic silence
i cherish loneliness
i cling to it like apron strings
i crave it amidst the hurricane of company
the click of a lock, a clatter of limbs
a breath
and an angelic silence takes hold
everything cast in a buttery light of magma
and for a moment the screeching stops
and i'm not anything anymore
him and this song kill me btw but whatever
parasite
we cling to traditions, making love to the ghosts of the past
to the institutions that cradle us, though the bassinet is bramble, we will always manage to sleep
the independent woman is a fairytale, as is the independent man, wished away after midnight
like a dream too hazy to remember, it's an idea we can smell but not taste
Do you have any pets? And what's your favourite painting(s)?
I have a cat named Finnick (after the hunger games character lol) and we have a family dog, Kirby.
My favorite painting is probably the last supper? I'm not super educated when it comes to art, I wish I was. However I am FASCINATED by the crucifixion and everything leading up to it, despite not being super religious anymore. For a less grim answer I've always liked Degas' ballerinas.
personally i think gender is useless and we should all live without it
