A cosy point and click adventure game lovingly inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle!
It is the 1920s, and in a sleepy Sussex village, beekeeper and former world's greatest detective Sherlock Holmes is trying to arrange a pleasant clifftop picnic for his lifelong companion Dr Watson. The only problem is that a series of mysteries keep getting in the way!
With a little launch discount!
This is Sidney Paget (as you said)
This is Walter Paget, his older brother
And these are some of Sidney Pagetās illustrations of Sherlock Holmes
So while Sherlock may have some resemblance with Sidney too, his design is said to mostly be based off Pagetās older brother
I think at the end of the day some of his own features probably ended up mixing their way into his drawings even if he technically wanted to base him off Walter lol
why are we letting Sidney pagetās drawings influence us so much. He was literally just drawing himself as Holmes
He just did a shit ton of self portraits man
I just found out that Spock and Sherlock Holmes share a birthday today š§š§
Human Spock my beloved, been meaning to draw him for a bit, dude was pure confusion and stress throughout the whole episode
Made a typo while talking to @lindin-doodles so naturally this exists now
weāll see if my current attempt at the angsty animatic they belong to will work out or if Iāll need to retry it with a different approach lol
I'm too sick to go to school even though today would have been such a fun day because it's the last day before the holidays and I would've brought my Community DVDs to watch them with my English class
So I made various versions of the same Spock meme to cope/lh
TW: mentions of throwing up
(cause I did)
What a collection huh
I'm no elder, but I see it as proof that even androids and humans can't always tell which is which, proving that there's no legitimate difference (except ofc the physical capabilities and such, but even those are hard to notice if you don't know, as we can see with them)
You could put a human and an android in a room and if they're both behaving politely around eachother (and if they can't bring up android related questions), neither of them would know *for sure* whether the other is android or human (also given that the android has deviated and stuff cause if not then ofc that'd be very noticeable)
I think that even though there are of course certain giveaway points that would make it easier to guess which one's which, this case just proves that you don't always know. Even amongst your own kind you can't always recognize everyone as such here, for example because you assumed they weren't; I think this goes to show that whether her daughter was an android or a human didn't matter at all to her, she saw a child in need and decided to take care of her and that fact doesn't change when she finds out Alice is an android either, sure she's surprised but that doesn't make much of a difference in how she sees her
Hi guys :)
I wanted to ask elders of dbh fandom some questions about Kara's storyline, because right now i am watching the let's play and i just got to the moment when they reveal that Alice is an android.
I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID IT? Like, genuinely, i need someone to explain
When i thought earlier about Kara's storyline, i thought about love. About the unconditional love between android and human, about family love (i guees you can also see it in Markus's line but it s really short). And now it all ruined? Now it just "yeah, android can love an android".
No. I dont like it so much. We already see android love: tracy². They are androids, they love eachother. Isn't it an example?
And yeah, i can think about family love between android and android but stiiilllllll.....
ā¼ļø!SPOILERS OF COURSE!ā¼ļø
Firstly: Spock getting Kirk a good book and Bones getting him reading glasses makes me think about them discussing what each of them should get him for his birthday and trying to coordinate it accordingly
Secondly: "You keep missing the target!" No comment, just pure badassery from Kirk (and fear for the people around him)
And now I'm gonna copy and paste the thoughts that I'd typed out about the probably most important scene in this movie right after having watched it:
Mmmmmm Kirk didn't know that Spock was dying, kept thanking/complimenting Scotty for the good work over the intercoms (?)/communicator and actually thought they had made it out and everything was fine and safe now, only to have a distressed McCoy on the comms just a seemingly peaceful moment later, urging Kirk to come there. Now. and Kirk's immediate thought is Spock and so he runs and is absolutely trying/willing to throw open that door to get to Spock before he gets held back and reminded that this would kill everyone else :( And then Spock gets up, straightens his uniform and after just having cowered in the corner with his back turned, walks up to Kirk to speak with him and tell him that he shouldn't grief (oof) and that it was his logical solution to the Kobayashi Maru and that he had never taken it before and as he slides down, pressed against the glass, Kirk follows him closely, most likely trying to stay as close to him as possible for as long as he could
And then Spock takes off his protective glove and tells Kirk to llap and Kirk presses his hand against the glass too and they touch but can't reallyš«
Needless to say, I am excited for The Search For Spock lolš§
Ā āOh yeah Iād totally be able to resist the dark sideā says guy who canāt even resist leaning back on a chair
!BBC SHERLOCK SPOILERS!
(can you hide images on this site in case of spoilers? In this case itās a bit too vague to be seriously concerning I think but stillš§āāļø)
