the one on the top left was my first attempt lol so ignore that, but yeah, Pike's already a horse guy so cowboy-ifying him seemed like the logical choice🫡

We've been designing fonts in art class and the words we'd write with 6 of our letters didn't have to make any sense so I used my chance to make a Sherlock & Co. reference🫡

Tried to imitate his handwriting a little but I may have just ended up writing in regular cursive🥸 I haven't written in cursive in a while though so that was interesting 🧍

Love this guy, Jayce Talis they could never make me hate you, dude is trying what he can with very little to zero actual guidance in the political position he was pushed into I hope I can get a better understanding on his character and the circumstances on my rewatch cause I was crocheting on my first watch and probably didn't catch some things lol

I just listened to the first episode of Sherlock & Co. again and Stamford doesn't warn him here either😭

Though the difference is that John instantly knew that this wasn't gonna be normal because the first time he sees Sherlock he is bleeding. On a treadmill. Because he's doing an experiment on himself. So while Stammo hasn't warned him here either, at least John could throw out his expectations of any normal conversation himself, before being "mouth-doxxed" as @valhallassoundbox put it, since that's a much less normal start to meeting someone than the person just innocently asking for someone's phone lmao

Buuut Stammo still let John walk into this room unprepared for what Sherlock was up to, although to be fair he couldn't have known that *that* was gonna be what Sherlock was doing either, but he probably knew that there was a chance it was gonna be something like that

I just find it funny how Stamford seemingly did NOT mention to John that Sherlock would know everything about him the moment he’d walk in there. He did not know that he was instantly gonna be able to tell him everything about himself as if he had just finished copy and pasting a Wikipedia article about Watson directly into his verbal drive

Instead of warning him Stamford was just like “Can’t wait to see your reaction, it’s better when you experience it first-hand without spoilers lmao” and decided to let John walk into that room completely unprepared for what he was in for lol

John thought this was gonna be a relatively normal conversation

I’ve finally found the magical formula to actually find the Star Trek animations on YT that I wanted, because apparently “fan animation Star Trek” wasn’t cutting it and I could have spent years searching for proper animatics there when all I needed to add to the equation was the little word “music”, because for some reason the algorithm was like “nope, that’s not a fan animation, it’s a music fan animation, of course you’re gonna get completely different Star Trek videos after the few other animations we can offer instead of something with a very similar name to what you’ve been searching for” lol I’m glad I’ve got that sorted out now/lh
