Being part of the Legends was something you loved. You loved getting to save the day—no matter the time period—and you had some great teammates that were really like family to you. You were somewhat young so most of them definitely worried, maybe a little too much, for your safety but you spent your whole life using your telekinesis to get out of danger and it was no different. 

But sometimes things did get rough. 

You were laying on your bed, staring up at the blank ceiling as you recalled your latest mission. You only remembered so much.

You didn’t know what year it was exactly but the androids you were fighting were advanced enough to frighten you. You had just taken one out when other had knocked you to the floor. “Hey!” You exclaimed, propping yourself up on your elbows.

You jutted out a hand, intending to send the android flying back but it didn’t happen. Your telekinesis had faltered and you were helpless. You glanced to your side and saw most of your teammates struggling like you. 

You scrambled back, panic beginning to take over when you heard Sara call out, “Run for it!” 

Your memory was foggy after that point. From what you could remember, you had gotten knocked out. You just remembered waking up in the med bay and that was it.

You blinked the memory away, trying to do the same with your panicked feelings. After a few minutes, it seemed useless and you were just feeled with dread. You got to your feet and shuffled out of your room.

Sara had told you if you never needed anything to come to her and now seemed like as good a time as any. You peered into her room, knocking softly against the doorframe. “Y/N?” she asked, looking up from the book she’d been reading.

“We need to talk,” you sighed, rubbing your forearm, “well, can we? I guess?”

Sara looked at you worriedly. “What’s the matter, sweetie?” she asked as she moved aside so she wasn’t laying out on her bed anymore.

You stepped further in, taking seat down beside her. “I couldn’t relax. I was going to take a nap but, that wasn’t working,” you explained to her with a lackluster shrug.

“Gideon checked you out, you should be fine.”

“I am, I just...keeping thinking about our last mission,” you sighed. “Those androids and my powers malfunctioning and I was just so panicked! I froze! I was helpless, and they were getting closer and-“

“Hey, hey, calm down.” Sara cooed, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder as you had begun to hyperventilate. “They can’t hurt you anymore.”

“It’s not even that, I just...don’t want them to happen again. My powers have always been so uncontrollable yet I’ve always relied on them. What happens if they act like that again or somehow I lose them? Even temporarily?” You were visibly stressed and Sara could tell as she comfortingly rubbed your back, hoping to help calm you.

“You’re not alone you know. We may be a little dysfunctional-“ You chuckled lightly. “But we’re here for you and don’t think for a second we wouldn’t be there to help you.”

“Still I just-“

“You know, training you to fight is something I can do,” Sara announced, causing you to shoot her a glance. “Maybe it’d be useful.”

“You mean I could be a badass like THE Sara Lance?” You questioned, laughing ever so slightly. Sara playfully rolled her eyes just as you both heard the sound of someone knocking on the doorframe of the room.

“Is everything alright?” Ray asked, probably having heard you both from down the hall. You nodded slowly, giving him a smile.

“This is girl talk, so leave,” Sara told him, prompting him to quickly take the hint and head off, apologizing as he went. You both laughed it off before Sara extended the blanket she had at the edge of her bed out towards you. “Here, take my blanket.” You raised an eyebrow. “You can sleep here tonight, maybe it’ll help keep you calm. I’ve got a book to read anyway.”

You smiled in response as she got to her feet and flopped down into an open desk chair she had, reopening her book. She gave you a nod as you stretched out on her bed, pulling the blanket it over you and letting out a somewhat content sigh.

You still felt anxious about it all but less so. Sara was right. You were apart of a team and if Sara was going to teach you how to fight, things wouldn’t be so bad.

Plus her blanket was really soft.

i’m so sick of getting to top 2 in fortnite and losing bc the other person is a good builder and gets the jump on me so i lose.. like can they make a mode where building is disabled so we can just have actual fights bc the building is so fucking annoying at this point, there’s so many times where i’ve fucked someone up and they’ve managed to escape via building like mad, bandage and shield themselves and then turn around and kill me all bc i’m not good at building (and i’ve practiced a ton but some ppl are just insanely good at building and never seem to run out of mats??) UGH

poor bucky, my smol brainwashed babe. sigh. BUT, you help him feel normal and he honestly can’t get enough of being around you. 

tbh, even if you guys are just sat on the couch while your favorite movie played (you insisted he watch it) and you were just sketching beside him, he absolutely loved it. (you totally draw him at some point and it’s just so nice?? he loves it??)

you’re always trying to introduce him to new things—lots of things are new to him—and you recommend plenty of books. he’s going to read them all. don’t even test him.

a lot of times you’ll get heated over a book and harry will just let you rant to him about it and he loves those moments because, for once, he’s not worried about possible impending doom. he’s just worrying about you and whatever your favorite characters got into. 

harry and girls is such a subject. does?? he?? know?? what?? he’s?? doing?? no, especially around you. he gets flustered x10 around you, but somehow he did manage to ask you out. what a cutie.

you also go to all of his quidditch matches. they’re fun to watch and you have to support your supportive boyfriend I mean- 

he wants you to do whatever you want in life, like an artist?? did you mean the best artist in the world?? he will display all of the art ever on the walls of your house, nothing can stop him! because he loves and supports you!

it’s difficult being sam’s girlfriend i mean, he doesn’t have the best track record but like, it’s fINE

sam’s worried about you most days because you’re not a hunter but you’re also a force to be reckoned with so it balances out. plus, nothing’s ever going to hurt you anyway, sam won’t let that happen

you help him and dean out quite a bit. you’re almost an even better researcher than sam (dean makes sure to point it out just because sam gets a little offended considering dean just sort of makes fun of him for his researching) 

you also keep a sketchbook of most of the things you guys encounter. it’s like a visual record and it definitely helps identify what they’re hunting sometimes

you and sam are constantly recommending each other books and it’s certainly the cutest thing (aside from an adorable height difference that he enjoys teasing you about)

welp, this guy needs some serious love. poor brainwashed metal man. and you happen to be a witch, less so like wanda or strange. like you’re legitimately like a witch from like charmed. 

gosh you just want to help this man! he’s troubled and has a whole metal arm. you have empathy and every so often you can just calm his thoughts. his mind never stops for a few moments they do and he couldn’t thank you more.

around you, he feels normal. he just wants to be around you constantly. you don’t freeze up around him or treat him differently. you suggest movie nights to watch movies he wouldn’t have seen or sometimes it’ll be early in the morning and he can’t sleep so you’re on the couch, munching cereal and watching cartoons with him

he loves it. you joke with him, teach him how to cook—he’s not great though, sorry buck—and play video games. he’s not great either. technology is a little hard for him but he appreciates you helping him, he appreciates yOu.

You knew it was late. The way the crescent moon peered through the trees and the empty streets were a dead give away. The town was quiet, even for Beacon Hills. Especially for Beacon Hills, actually.

You walked along the sidewalk, the sleeves of your maroon hoodie acting as the only thing barring you against the cold late autumn wind. When you spotted his house, you let out a sigh of relief and bounded up the porch steps.

For a moment, as your hand hovered before the front door, you contemplated turning around and walking away. Perhaps Scott would be more open to letting you stay over but you didn’t know where he lived and it was already late enough.

You knocked against the front door, rubbing your arms as you tried to ignore the cold. When the door edged open and you saw Liam peek out, you gave him a soft appreciative smile. “Y/N?” He asked, clearly confused.

“Liam, hey!” you greeted cheerily, well as cheery as you could be. “I need a place to stay.” Liam looked at you confused for a moment, but it was two a.m and he definitely didn’t have to energy to reject you.

He side stepped, allowing you to enter his house. You smiled thankfully as you stepped inside, gazing about the warm house. “Can I ask why?”

You pondered his question for a moment. It was a long story but you trusted Liam and he did ask. “Well,” you began, “I thought I had found a lead...on my mom’s killer.” Liam, tired as he may be, continued listening. “I was out, like, all day following it. When I got home, about an hour ago, I ran into my dad. He yelled at me for looking into it, saying ‘the past is the past’ and I argued back, of course. Things got intense and he told me to get out.”

You glanced away from Liam, not interested in seeing his reaction as you looked about the house. His parents weren’t around so you could only assume they were probably asleep. “Uh, sorry...that that, uh, happened.” Liam definitely didn’t know what to say to you but you didn’t blame him. You offered a smile in response. “You can stay in my room, just don’t be loud? I don’t think I’m allowed to have you over...at two a.m.”

“Probably not,” you mused as Liam led the way to his room. You trotted after him, almost immediately collapsing onto his bed once you saw it in your line of sight. “Ah. Comfort.”

“Yeah, okay,” Liam sighed softly to himself as he sat down at his desk. He wiped his tired eyes as he watched you toss and turn onto his bed for a moment, before going still. Presumably, you were falling asleep. Liam spun around in his desk chair for a moment, contemplating whether or not he should get up.

The only reason he even answered the door was because he had been in the kitchen to get a drink of water. Now he had you in his room and no water. He leant his elbow on the arm of his chair, resting his head in his hand as he too drifted off.

Liam was startled awake by sounds coming from the kitchen. His eyes darted to his empty bed and the wide open bedroom door. Instinctively, he scrambled to his feet and dashed into the kitchen to find you sat on the kitchen counter.

A package of chocolate chips was laid beside you and a large bottle of vodka in your hands as you stared at Liam like a deer caught in headlights. Liam’s eyes went wide as he whipped his head toward the clock and back at you. “It’s six o’clock!” He yelled in a hushed tone.

“Yes, it is!” You yelled back, mimicking his tone. You shook your head as you began to unscrew the lid to the vodka. But Liam snatched it from your hands before you could finish. “Hey!” You exclaimed with a pout.

“It’s six o’clock in the morning, you’re not having vodka!” Liam scolded you as he adjusted the cap and went to put it back where his parents had kept it. You stuck your tongue out at him as you grabbed the cookies. Liam, once again, took them from your grasp.

You gasped aloud. “I could punch you right now,” you hissed as you hopped off the counter and reached out for them but Liam stepped away before you could. “I haven’t eaten like anything, all day! Besides cereal!”

“Can you be quiet?!” Liam asked desperately, glancing down the hall fearfully. He didn’t want his parents to wake up to find you in the kitchen, that wouldn’t go well for sure. You narrowed your eyes at him as you crossed your arms over your chest, waiting for the return of the chocolate chips. “Wha-what are you even doing out here? You were sleeping.”

You scoffed, “I haven’t slept in ages.” Suddenly your tone went from childish to something much more cynical and dark. Liam looked at you with evident concern. “Not since I’ve begun looking into my mom’s death anyway. The cops never found anything. You can’t tell me that’s not weird.”

“Well yeah, but Y/N-“

“I know she was killed for a reason and I’m willing to bet it had something to do with the supernatural. I just need to figure out how,” you explained with a small shrug. Liam looked over you for a moment before jutting the cookies out toward you. Your eyes lit up. “Are you letting me have them?!” Liam’s eyes widened. “Quiet. Right,” you smiled, lowering your tone as you trotted down the hall back to Liam’s room.

Liam followed you, shutting the door behind you both. You took a seat on the edge of his bed, happily munching on the cookies. “You’re going to have to be out of here by noon. My step-dad will be at work and my mom has to go shopping and-“

“Sorry for stealing your bed, by the way,” you cut him off. “I ended up just stealing your bed and I didn’t even sleep. I tried and then I was just on my phone for...four hours? Wow, sorry,” you muttered apologetically as you extended the cookie package out to him. “Cookie?”

“Oh, thanks.” Liam took a cookie as he spun around in his chair for a moment. “Maybe Scott and Stiles could...look into your mom’s murder? I’m not saying they could do a lot but Stiles is always kind of ready to solve a mystery and if it’s the supernatural-“ Liam trailed off, noticing the grin you were giving him. “W-what?”

“You’re sweet,” you told him, almost not noticing the blush on his cheeks once you had said that.

“Well, I just...Y/N...you’re getting crumbs all over my bed.”
