I realised now as to the reason why izana's and Mikey's meeting happened how it happened. As kids , they both went on bike rides with shin , looking over the river and eating snacks. So when the met , they had the same meeting, like actual brothers. This scene mimcs the memory of them with shinichiro 💔

"what's your favourite horror movie?" I don't know? Maybe the fact that izana realised that he was about the lose the person he cared the most about and didn't even hesitate to sacrifice himself? And that warm smile he gave in the end?

Specifically the haitani brothers , kakucho and manjirou . The haitani brothers have their tats on the front of their neck , like a collar or a mark , representing their loyalty towards izana and his memories rather than bonten. Kakucho has his mark on his chest right above his heart , because of his geniune adoration towards izana and how izana had more or less saved him . Manjirou or "mikey" has his mark on the back of his neck , also more like a collar but this time , it's him chained to the past and the past memories..

Why.

Emma died thinking Draken didn't love her back.

Izana wanted to shape Mikey into Shinichiro but he ended up shaping Mikey into himself.

Kakucho lost his beloved people twice-his parents and Izana-and both times, he was the only one who survived.

Izana doesn't have a grave because he has no family and relatives. Kakucho probably doesn't know where Izana REALLY is buried.

Mikey and Kazutora end up destroying something they loved the most.

Ryusei had to watch Kojiro getting physically and domestically abused and unable to do anything.

Baji stabbed himself because he didn't want Kazutora to blame himself and Mikey to kill Kazutora but forgive him.

In the manga, Izana's last words were "I'm beyond saving, huh?" but in the anime his last word was "Emma.."

Money in Japan is "Okane" but is heard as "Akane". Hence, everytime Koko mentions money, it feels like he's mentioning Akane. "I've always lived for MONEY" he said. But it sounded as "I've always lived for Akane."

Kazutora was having breakdowns in the juvie. He would be screaming, sweating and trembling while completely zoning out and disconnected from reality.

Even if Kazutora shifted blame to Mikey, he was still feeling horrible guilt.

Draken told Kazutora that he was one of his, still part of his crew, but then we see Draken saying that he wanted to kill Kazutora.

Kazutora's hair went white because of the stress and trauma in juvie, that's why he dyed his hair blonde.

Based on this I would like to point out my point of me thinking that mori displays certain characteristics of a pedo with how he refers to the child form of elise as his wife. And I have also stated that most of his moments can be interpreted as fatherly moments. And yes I did a summary of his book to understand it a bit better before I wrote my theory

I actually love how Kōyō's right eye is specifically covered and not her left because the right eye is mostly believed to be "good" or to represent "Heaven." While the left eye is to represent the "devil" or "hell." This is again connected to connected to Kōyō's beliefs on the world itself. When we see the panel of when Kōyō was much younger, she had both eyes visible, but in present timeline and overall after the death of the older man she attempted to escape with, her right eye is covered. This is actually to show how Kōyō can't see anything but darkness now. She has covered the good part of herself and has accepted the darkness and cruelty of the mafia. She had both eyes present when she was younger because she had the chance of being in the light. But now, that chance is gone, and she is stuck in the dark, refusing to come out. We can also see that she almost always has her right hand covered, again, symbolising how she has become the darkness in a way. The right hand is considered holy, and the fact that she often covers it is such an interesting detail.

This also greatly reforms there whole "siblings -in -everything but- not -blood" as currently chuuya is walking the same path as kōyō did once just in a different way, chuuya's path started out different from kōyō but I can see him covering his right eye again if he becomes the next pm boss . The same path different shoes.

Similarly chuuya also is sporting a similar hair style by covering his right eye or the "good" , "heavenly" because he refuses to believe in the good of the people after the deaths of the flags of his friends 

This also makes chuuya seem more similar to verlaine as he is literally having the same hairstyle as him , showing his possible sway to his older brothers words and actions

I don't wanna think this because he's also wearing a scarf 🧣 so that could hint at him being the next port mafia boss and while that's going to drive him deeper down this shit hole of darkness or wtv it's going to somehow be a better ending than him dying.

Also he isn't like a mentor of the mc or someone super close so asagiri might just actually off him
