Faking something, whether a symptom, identity or behaviour, is a conscious decision. You can’t unknowingly fake something.
And on top of that, if you were faking something and it was causing you distress or other problems, you could just stop.
If you have to ask yourself ‘am I faking this’ you’re not.
Please remember that almost everyone around you is traumatized. I didn’t understand this when I was younger. I wondered why people acted so strangely and irrationally. Maybe all children wonder this. The author Robert Anton Wilson said (paraphrasing), “We have never seen a completely sane adult human.” No one makes it out of this life alive. It’s not their fault. Mercy, kindness, forgiving — these are what makes one human. They are other names for love. People break in the strangest of ways.

It speaks to kind of society we live in where it’s generally assumed that unity is achieved through domination only.
Boys who are sex-repulsed/don’t enjoy sex/are too uncomfortable to have sex - you’re doing an amazing job at coping in a society that associates your maleness with having strong sexual desires. You are valid, you are loveable, you are not ‘weird’ for not fitting into the stereotype of men wanting sex all time.

Was just informed by my mom that I do in fact have ADHD and the reason I thought I didn’t was because ever since I was seven whenever I got super energetic my mom would have me go chop wood so now when I’m feeling The ADHD I go chop wood and I thought it was just some sort of routine I started when I was little and wanted to blow off steam
Not sure how this works. I'll figure things out as I go. But for now, I hope what I have isn't difficult to navigate.
