Lost Landscape

Brazilian architect Luiz Eduardo Lupatini created a visual musing about the nature of human use of building materials.

He placed his conceptual design “Lost Landscape” at the heart of a quarry which would inspire individuals to confront their preconceived ideas about consumption. There is a notable interplay with positive and negative space as well as the presence of both industrial and natural textures. Monolithic concrete walls and entrances would allow people to navigate the extraction site as if it were a system of naturally occurring caves. Night Train to Lisbon movie will be offering audience the chance to see a finely done drama motion picture which can hope to be enriched with drama element from beginning to end. There are many viewers who are interested in seeing dramas and their wish for such a motion picture will be delivered with this latest one. As a project it is still in pre production which means viewers will have to wait for a while if they are interested in having the first hand experience of the motion picture. Audience which will be attracted to theaters are promised a fine theatrical venture.

LM Guest House Desai Chia Architecture

Located on a rolling farm property in upstate New York, the LM Guest House celebrates the beauty of the surrounding landscape– sweeping views through an all-glass facade magnify the spacious, open feel of the living areas.The home employs several sustainable design strategies including geothermal heating and cooling, radiant floors, motorized solar shading, photovoltaic panels, and rainwater harvesting.

The open living and sleeping areas flow around a compact slatted wood core that disguises the mechanical, storage, and bathing spaces. Two sleeping couchettes with built-in bunk beds provide efficient accommodations for additional weekend guests. Natural white oak wood detailing provides warmth and texture throughout the home. The high-performance glass facade was prefabricated off site, shipped in one container, and erected in two days. An innovative steel frame structure allows the roof to cantilever dramatically over the open living areas and bedroom.
