Advent romance. I live in a very old (founded 1230) and small ( ca 6600 residents) town ( securitized city rights). We have a castle and several very old houses. There is a railway station and a highway. In December the houses in the old town have little lights at there roofs. This house always looks nice and cozy with the lightened showroom and windows in the dark. Green woodpecker. Our garden seems to be part of it’s area. This guy is daily coming along, looking for ants. It’s restless and nervous, shouting like a loud laughing human... October fox. This was an encounter on my way home very late at night. In October the parent foxes force their children to leave home and search for an own territory. Most of the young foxes are heartbroken and overwhelmed with the new situation. They loose their shyness and come close to humans, desperate looking for companies and food. My monthly planner for goodnotes. The color palette is chosen from ispo.com ( fashion colors winter 20/21).I wanted to represent the grey and foggy atmosphere in a dark and wet month with theses colors. In the Catholic parts of western Germany St.Martin is celebrated on 11/11. Singing children, begging for sweets in the streets...Not spooky, but reminding on the mercy of St. Martin, who gave half of his coat to a beggar.
