Handler week Final Day

(Sorry I’m a little behind I had some personal issues)

They sent a card to Reggie on the last day of Handler week. This is what it said

(Already done with them) Great. Pheonix: Everything looks normal, so I shouldn’t get worked up. But why then is there is strange, abnormal feeling in my gut. He sounds like who he says he is, but I still have my doubts. (Grabs the lighter) Guess there’s only One way To find out. (Pheonix takes the lighter and burns the agency logo. The logo easily burns and reveals that they aren’t in the agency. A loud, long series of maniacal laughter comes from Handler as his voice converts to another familiar one. John Juniper’s)

Pheonix (speaking sarcastically): Great performance.

Juniper (Speaking in a smug tone while taking off his mimic mask): I try.

Juniper (Singing) You caught me, clever Agent. Color me impressed. but don’t think you already won For I already arranged your death (The laser cage surrounds Pheonix) Ever since I met you, taking your life has been my passion. Take your final bow cause it’s Lights! Camera! Action!

He's heard those words ever since he was a little kid. The people around him always told him how he needed to be a "big boy", and big boys never cry.

He didn't cry when he scraped his knee on the slide. He didn't cry when he got his first failling grade. He didn't cry when things went badly in his life. He was sure his tear glands weren't even working at this point.

He never cries. He's a big boy. Big boys don't cry.

So why does he feel his cheeks wet when he sees you dressed in white?

Why does he feel like breaking down into tears while you make your way to the altar, smile radiant as ever and holding a big, pretty flower bouquet?

Why does he keep blinking his eyes as you approach him and link your hands with his? And why is his vision getting blurred when he realized you were soon to share the same last name?

It then dawned on him.

He wasn't a boy. He wasn't a big boy, either. He was a man.

And when the priest finally says: "You may kiss the bride" and he finally lets the tears fall freely as your mouths get closer, he realized he learned something today.

Boys don't cry, but men do.

And he was a man. Your man. And he would gladly cry in front of the whole world if it meant keeping that title.
