I am Mayson Hamada. I will tell you my story. Imagine this: It was a night like any other night. My children laugh at the house, and our hearts were beating with love and hope. We were going out with our friends and spent a fun time with my family, but suddenly the earth was shaken under our feet 💥💣, and we heard a thunder -like voice. . . Then silence. scary. it's all over! 😱💔 The shells exploded everywhere, the walls of our house collapsed over our heads 🏠💣, and the deaf sounds mixed with the screams of my children 😢😢. We crawled from under the rubble with exhausted bodies and terrifying hearts, we run between smoke and debris in search of safety 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Our house, which was full of life, is now a pile of ash. 💔

We live in a dilapidated and worn-out tent that is not suitable for winter or summer. 💔

Now we live in a very high cost of living.

There is no money to buy anything, and there is no work because of the war and the difficulty of the situation. I hope you will support me and my family until this difficult war ends.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage gives me a feeling of nostalgia for a time I never lived.

It also lowkey made me realize I have free will and can wake up and completely change who I am one random Tuesday. Like, the way I dress, the amount of crap I put up with. Obviously I’ll keep the good stuff, but I’m tired of living for other people. Imma just be me.

sad little lis things that break my heart but that nobody talks about in no specific order :

• the way Max rushes to Kate and tries to reach out to her when she jumps if you don’t manage to save her

• the way Chloe leans into Max’s kiss for a second just before you save Arcadia Bay

• how excited and happy Max is when she thinks she fixed everything in the timeline where she wins the Everyday Heroes contest

• the way Chloe’s voice breaks when she says “dad?” in BtS when she finds his car in the junkyard

• Max’s diary. (the way she thinks of herself so lowly, the way she’s so homesick throughout the whole game, the way she misses Chloe even when they’re together, the way she’s so nostalgic of something she’s lost forever, the way she tries so hard to be a good person even when she makes mistakes—)

• the way Max just knows when Chloe hands her the picture

• Victoria when you make fun of her

• Rachel’s doe watching from afar when Max and Chloe find her body

• how different William and David are

• Joyce’s character

• (and her relationship with Chloe)

• the way Max and Chloe look at each other for a split second after Max kisses Chloe and she pulls away. there’s nothing concretely sad about it but whenever I see this scene it just hurts.

Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family and my siblings - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯

, no electricity, no schools

, no cooking gas

, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤

. Our house was completely destroyed

. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living

, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble.

Imagine:

We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times,

and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us?
