Junhee somehow managed to sneak her wrapped sweet candies into the game, she craved sweets too often these days because of her pregnancy and it was just one of her cravings and somehow whoever changed her clothes into the squid game uniform had left some of her sweets in her pocket. (Probably it was No eul who brought her to the island, she always have sweet spot for babies, kids, or in this case pregnant woman carrying a baby inside her)

Anyway long story short, Junhee gave her remaining candies to her team mates ! 😭 after they win the six legged game, like just out of gratitude, she knew she didn’t have much in this place and that’s all she has but she wanted go give them something, at first they all refused because they said they couldn’t possibly take her sweets but Junhee insisted, so they took it so not to offend her and quickly unwrapped the candies and actually happy that they could eat something sweet for once in this place.

But she miscalculated the remaining of the candy she had, leaving only Gihun without the candy, Junhee felt sorry, she wished she didn’t eat the last one before offering the candy to her team, Gihun only gave her a polite smile saying he’s fine with it Junhee didn’t need to feel bad about something like that.

Even though Gihun said that but deep down he really be craving some sweet too because of his sweet tooth, he used to eat ice cream almost daily, that’s his favorite thing to do, but well he is pleased enough that everyone seems happy with the little gift from Junhee.

Inho who sat beside Gihun has been observing everything silently, he had stalked Gihun for 3 years now to know he wasn’t one to pass on sweet, with his oral fixation he always has something on his mouth to chew, he should have sneaked candies into his uniform, maybe he should do it later and instructed his pink guards to bring some.

Or he could just do it now…

With a candy 🍬 that’s in his mouth, that he only just unwrapped and suck for awhile before Junhee declared that she had no more candy to give to Gihun, so without prompting Inho leaned toward Gihun and close their mouth together.

It happened so fast, Gihun hasn’t even got the time to process it, it end just like that with everyone mouth hang open in surprise and Gihun with a candy in his mouth.

Inho just grin cheekily like he wasn’t just pushing a damn candy into Gihun’s mouth with his tongue.

“I don’t like sweet anyway.” That’s all he says while the other was too stunned to speak a word lol

I don’t think we talk enough about Crowley standing across the street and staring right at Aziraphale as he made the decision to go up to Heaven. It shows he walked out of the bookshop in resignation, not disgust or because he was running away. He stood next to the car and stared, wanting Aziraphale to see him as he made his decision.

Just came to a shocking revelation

If you take one good look at my profile, you don’t even have to scroll far to tell that I absolutely love Gihun. Most of the time though when I talk about it I mention how he’s made crazy stupid decisions in the second season and how I wish he just got on the plane to see his daughter. But, here’s the thing.

Coming from someone who also has divorced parents, and lives with my mom and a stepdad and doesn’t know really know where my bio dad is, if I were Gayeong, I would be able to come to terms with not knowing where he is.

I saw someone mention that Gayeong is in a more stable situation with her mom and stepdad now that her mom and Gihun are divorced, and that’s honestly probably very true. So they’re right, Gihun doesn’t really need to BE there. Gayeong is safer where she is. What irks me though, and i know im not the only person who feels this way, is that when you’re that young and your parents are arguing in front of you and are obviously unhappy with each other, it hurts A LOT to witness it all.

So, my point being, I can understand Gihun opting to stay in Korea and can even slightly understand him ghosting Gayeong. I still don’t know why he would call her, say nothing, and then just wait for her to hang up as that’s just kinda weird regardless, but I can see what his intentions are.

And also, I don’t think Gayeong is hurting as much as we think she is. At least not anymore. It’s absolutely devastating to lose your birth parent in any fashion, but she has a lot more facilities and space in America to get the help she needs to overcome the hurt. As we saw in season one, her stepdad is well off, so surely her therapy bills are being paid for.

On the other side of that coin, I think that’s why Gihun turned around. Maybe he originally was going to go visit, maybe he was going to move to America to keep an eye on her from a distance. But once he knew there were more people about to suffer just as he did, he made one of the hardest decisions a parent could make in a split second by turning around. If my dad did that, I think I’d be proud of him. I’d be hurt at first, but eventually, I’d be happy for him if I knew.

Ways I notice Gi-hun has changed:

- rarely eats. we see him eating all the time before and during the games of season 1, but never saw him eating this season. he is noticeably skinnier

- his facial expressions and moods are only of sadness, distress, and anger. we only see him smile 3 times. no other emotion is seen on his face, unlike how he was before where he was very expressive. he still is, but the range of the emotions are so small.

-he doesn’t move around as much, like every ounce of energy is drained from him

-he has more of a smoking habit

-this man does absolutely no relaxing. you can tell how tense his body and mind is at all times

-he’s learned how to defend himself better

-he has no one, and i mean absolutely no one by his side in those three years between the games. he has jung bae for a little while, but he loses him too.

-there is no light in his eyes anymore

-he doesn’t talk as often as he used to, and when he does it’s pretty monotone compared to how he used to talk

Basically the games sucked every drop of light out of this man and we will never get the old gi hun back. I mourn this loss every day.
