smiletorn:
A breath of a laugh slips past, despite the priestess’ best efforts to retain a pouting face. Though Isanami is always somewhat of an open book, she had thought that she retained some ability to keep a straight face when she wanted, especially to try and trick people, but alas… some things never change. Perhaps she’s just fine with that too, seeing the teasing smile upon the blonde’s lips.
❛ Fineeee — ❜ The word is drawled out in protest. ❛ You’re right, I wouldn’t. Hmmpphh. I’ll hone my ignoring-Ana-skills then! If I said I was scared of you, then I wouldn’t win! ❜ She huffs, allowing the taller woman to release her smaller body. Smoothing out the wrinkles off her kimono, Isanami tilts her head in curiosity. Still, she gives no hesitation in moving. As soon as the hand is offered, the priestess slips her hand into Ana’s, lacing their fingers together and swinging it playfully.
Wherever the other wanted to go, she’d follow, of course. Still, she can’t help the retort that decides to jab at Ana once more: ❛ What reputation? Far as I know, Ana’s the fluffiest and softest person I ever know. ❜ Letting out another ‘hmph’, Isanami grins shortly after. ❛ Unless Ana wants to compete with certain people for a different reputation. Let’s see… there’s the ‘I’m-Too-Good-For-You’ reputation, and the ‘Everyone-Annoys-Me-So-I-Only-Frown’ reputation…. oh! There’s also the hard to obtain, ‘Imma-Yell-Bad-Words-Every-Other-Second reputation! ❜
A cheeky smile follows. ❛ But eh, I digress. The only Ana I know is this one, even if she tries to scare me. I like winning. It’s fun. ❜ Unspoken would be the question of where they would go, but Isanami has no complaints, therefore, she’ll expect for it to be revealed one way or another.
“Is that truly a skill you want to hone, my dear Isa-chan?” After all – if she learned to ignore Anastasia too well, Ana would be able to sneak up on her with her ninja skills all over again. The cycle would continue forever. “Truly? I thought you’d want to hone your ability to sense me before I arrived~”
Did she need to tease her? Absolutely. Though, once they had their hands interlocked, she could only smile. Squeezing Isanami’s hand reassuringly – and marveling to herself at how warm the simple contact was. As someone who was used to being alone a lot ( even when she was around others . . . ), little things like this could be vaguely overwhelming for her. But, she liked them all the same.
However, as the tiny BRAVE of DARKNESS teases her, Anastasia just smiles & laughs. Fluffiest and softest person she knew? Truly? She wouldn’t argue it. Instead, she just leans against the other slightly – making sure their shoulders touched. “And whose fault would it be, if I’d gained any sort of reputation like that? I’ll have to make the culprit take responsibility for that sort of rumor, you know.” She murmurs – half whispers, in the others ear. However, listening to her describe the others – well, that made her laugh. Startling her a little, honestly. Isanami was so blunt and honest, she could literally imagine some of their faces as the other spoke. “Oh goodness… the more I think of it, the more people fall into those categories.” Even Anastasia could have been in the “frowning” one for the beginning part of returning to the B R A V E S.
However, being around her smaller friend had cured her of that affliction. “Except… that last one. That’s Kamanosuke exclusive, I do believe.”
However – with that, Anastasia was leading her on her little adventure. In fact, Anastasia had come to snatch the priestess into following her: She’d prepared a bit of a bento picnic lunch elsewhere, and? The more they’d come to spend time with one another, the less times Anastasia actually asked before doing anything. She would just snatch up her small DARKNESS friend whenever convenient. “Well, then~” She starts, chuckling a little. “If you like winning, you’re headed down the right path.” She explains, winking once, as she continues to lead them.
It would be a little bit until they arrived. Anastasia had set up near a river, because it was pretty – and? Being a protective Kunoichi, like she was, it was also so she could defend them if something came up last minute. Unlikely, but? She wouldn’t throw them in a situation where they would be defenseless. Isanami meant way to much to her to risk her being abducted again or something along those lines…
A former shinobi from Iga, back before it’s fall, Hattori Hanzou has been working for Ieyasu since a young age. And? Since then, he’s been getting used to his new Lord’s antics. He is grumpy most of the time, however? He has decided to stick around his side... Becoming the head shinobi of the Tokugawa Shinobi, and following his masters orders absolutely.
Having been ordered to help Enju in her escape, Hanzou was very severely injured. Due to that, he’s not much of a shinobi anymore. However: That hasn’t stopped his connections to his former Lord, who keeps insisting that he take land and a title as offered to him... Even though he’d be content to live as a hermit.

This is the verse for the main story line of SDR2.
What started out as a nice little trip – despite being unexpected, especially because she had thought she was about to starter first day at Hope’s Peak Academy, turns rabidly dark. With the appearance of a bear by the name of Monokuma and the announcement that they would be partaking in something called a “Mutual Killing Game.” Sonia is strong minded and strong willed. Being a princess means she is good at keeping a straight face and keeping herself calm, even in times of high stress. However? There is afear prickling at the back of her mind. After all? Who is doing this? Why is this happening? Why do she or any of her classmates have to die? What is the purpose of this cruel game …
Confused, but willing to adapt, the Ultimate Princess has found herself on a “school trip” to a mysterious Island along with the fellow members of her class. It’s confusion. But, as weird as it is… it doesn’t seem like a bad idea. Perhaps this was a good way to get to know everyone! Sonia would feel awfully silly if she didn’t at least give it a chance! Perhaps she could have a wonderful time with her class here, even if getting here… might still confuse her. ( … how does a room fold away and bring you to a beach? She may believe in magic, but… she still can’t put a finger to a spell that could do something like this. )
A member of Yukizome’s class, and always a will participant in showing up to class, from the moment they got their new enthusiastic teacher? She has found herself positively excited or class~ She wanted a true school experience. And she enjoys getting to know those around her. Even if… certain classmates can be a little… “overwhelming” to say the least.
A member of the “Remnant’s of Despair,” Sonia is still just as charismatic and as much of a leader as she has ever been. One of her strongest points, and part of what makes her so terrifying, is as a princess she has military training as well as the charisma to move people - she is a master of mass manipulation, as well as strategic destruction to decrease moral of enemies and so on and so forth. She is also very much willing to take up weapons and lead the charge. She is by no means weak. But she is terrifying.
Spoilers for DR3!
After having awoken from the Neo World Program, she and the remaining survivors had decided to wait for their classmates. They were willing to stick around there and wait for them to revive, regardless of the odds. However? With a little push from their local, artificial, genius? ( Izuru ) They were able to retrive all of them - and managed to pull off a bit of a last minute save for their saviors.
Someone who had moved to the island of Orsus in the recent years – particularly to train herself in the ways of her people, and give her a safe place to study. After all, it wasn’t until recent that she had even known that she was a witch. Her family had been intent to hide it from her, especially given that they considered themselves a strict religious family. And they would not have their daughter ruining that for them… However? Sonia’s natural magic was too strong to be sealed, and when it finally revealed itself, nothing would stop her from figuring out what exactly she was.
It took some time, but eventually she was able to discover that her origin-line tied her to the line of the original “W i t c h ‘ Q u e e n” and that meant she had the potential to grow into that level of power as well. Even to take the title – but? To do so, she would have to survive – because the line had disappeared for ages, and clans were currently warring over the title. And some untrained youth was certainly not going to do anything about the state of things. She needed to survive, which meant? Moving somewhere she could study in peace – until she is able to properly wield her natural talent.
The canon verse for Zach. He’s a killer on the bottom layer of the “hospital” - in charge of the lowest floor. He’s not very smart, but he is passionate and powerful. He can neither read nor write, and his unchecked strength... occasionally gets him into trouble. But, he is honest: and he hates lies with everything he is. . . and so? He’ll never lie himself.

Sometimes Messiah wondered if he had a self-destruct button that just… flipped itself, when he interacted with Titus. He’d honestly approached the other to simply offer him a gift on a holiday, and yet? He couldn’t resist the jab he’d decided to take at him. And yet, it hadn’t been his intention. It’d just slipped out. And before he could apologize – the other spoke.
“So, you’re trying to tell me you earnestly never steal anything just because you want to?” There was doubt thickly laced in his tone. He wasn’t the type of person to just take others at their word. And with this man in specific? ( He could be almost INHUMANLY distrusting. ) A problem he recognized. And one he was attempting to work on . . . especially given who they both worked for. And yet, here he was. Botching another attempt. ‘Genius I may be, and yet? Here I am.’ He cursed himself quietly, allowing the other to take his present, and crossing his own arms in turn. “It seems unlikely.” And here he was just shoveling further mistakes on top of the prior one. Rather then backing down, accepting his mistake for a moment – swallowing his pride and apologizing? Nope.
However, as the other shoves a bouquet against him, he blinks a few times. Confusion alight in his amethyst eyes, and he reaches for the offered gift. WAIT, WHAT? The other had gotten him something as well? Why??? It wasn’t as though the other had any reason to give him anything. ( It wasn’t as though he had a reason to give Titus anything ether, and yet? When he’d seen the box, he’d thought of him… not that he’d say that aloud. )
And despite being flattered, when the other made his comment, his eyebrows knit together a little – and he reaches out a gloved hand to take the others gift. “… I suppose I’ll hold my tongue, then. As you’ve already answered my question.” Messiah somehow doubted that was the absolute truth. But, he’d leave it alone for now. PERHAPS that was just his suspicious side, anyways. “Thank you. You’ve got a good eye.”
Oh look, he was able to say one nice thing.
“… perhaps you’d like to join me? I was going to a reservation I made for dinner.” He’d at least ask – even if he thought the other would likely decline. Though, he couldn’t resist making one more quick jab: “Though, I suppose I’ll have to make a side-trip now, as well. To drop off these flowers. But I suppose you can come along for that as well, if you’d like.”
He wouldn’t wait for an answer. In fact, he would turn on his heel and begin walking away from the THIEF. Why? Because he was starting to wonder what sort of hit he’d make if he just kept talking to the other. T r u l y, he was beginning to wonder if that’s just how he acted around TITUS. If he would, consistently, just attack the other for no reason at all. However: He hoped the other recognized the second part as being… somewhat kind? Messiah liked to keep people out of his private life. So? Up until now, he’d never offered to let anyone come to his house.
Especially not the thief.
They had a NEGATIVE history between the two of them – and it was a matter of T R U S T. Not that he thought he had anything there that the other would be particularly interested in. . .
The youngest Princess in the Kou Empire, Ren Kougyoku aims to be similar to her “sister” Hakuei and become a general princess. She’s even gone so far as to capture a dungeon in hopes of accomplishing this. And? She is rather powerful while wielding her Djinn.
She can seem a little cold and distant at first, however? When it comes down to it, that is a front to try to help her be a little more like her brothers. She can be very insecure and confused when it comes to certain things - however? Her heart it often in the right place. She neither enjoys war nor does she care for senseless violence. However? She will always prioritize protecting her family over all. Judal/Judar included.
Having stepped up to become the next Empress of the Kou Empire, she found herself in a position she’d never really... seen herself in. She’d had dreams of being a General, of supporting her family when they ascended to the throne . . . she hadn’t expected to become the Empress herself.
( under construction! )
Despite being the daughter of Koutoku, she was never discovered to be as such - so? A commoner of the Kou Empire, as well as the daughter of a prostitute, she has dreams of seeing the outside world. Which, it not normal for a citizen of the Kou Empire, let alone a young woman. She wants to see the outside world, she wants... more then this life. And she knows that if she stays here, she has little hope above following in her mothers footsteps.
Perhaps it’s time to travel the world and try her luck.

When the younger of the two of them makes his comment, Gladiolus grins a little and shrugs. The truth was he didn’t understand what was running through the younger two’s minds. They were acting goofy, but? The “SHIELD” recognized it as them probably attempting to do their best to not overwhelm Ignis on his birthday/day off.
“I assume they know that already? But, who knows. Noct might be avoiding you so that he doesn’t accidentally start asking you for things – it’s sort’ve second nature for the king-to-be.” Gladio states, making his way over to his friend and companion. Unloading the mini-hoard next to his blond companion.
The golden-eyed man had picked out a few things for Ignis – various little necessity gifts. Things that would make his life easier, such as a thermos for coffee, a better sewing kit, a new travel set of appliances. The boys? Had gone a little more in the goofy direction. Noct had bought Ignis many cans of E B O N Y, as well as a cook book that claims on the cover to know 50 recipes in which you could use Ebony as an ingredient. Whereas Prompto had picked up a stuffed animal – large, round, and plump. Supposedly it was a bird? And the shutter-bug had said he’d picked it because it “looked like Ignis” but? Honestly, Gladio couldn’t see the resemblance. Nor could he say it looked anything like a bird. But? The boys were goofy.
“It’s not a problem, you know that. You needed a break. Hell, you deserved one. Though, on that note… I ordered a cake for you. It’s gonna be here in a while. But? I figured I’d warn you. So you don’t ruin your appetite.” Oh, the times he’d heard that last phrase himself – it was funny to get to use it himself this time. Though, it was somewhat embarrassing for the Shield to admit he had to order it. Ignis was the only real competent chef amongst them. And it wasn’t like he could serve CUP-of-NOODLES and MUG-CAKES for his companions’ birthday.

❖ ─ ━ ɩɴⅴеႽτɩնατοʀ She already analyzed the situation that she was in as soon they both stopped there. Even though it didn’t look good she wanted to at least try talking to him calmly without all of this, capturing was out of the picture as she likely knows what they are going to do with the Despairs once captured too plus she didn’t have a gun on her only stun weapons of the sorts. ❝Don’t judge me. Just because I’m small doesn’t mean that I’m useless cause I’m not an Ultimate like you, besides I do have a few skills of my own. ❞ Asano recalled back just stating her own thoughts there, it’s true she does know a few small things but that doesn’t mean she’s useless. Seeing that he took a step back as he said what was next did put her on edge though.
Already knowing what his talent does don’t help her ease her mind about it though, she took a quick glance around to see if there was anything that would help her get around with making the ground fall if she did go to him. ❝Tell me, why do you think that my goal is to arrest you then? Let me tell you this since we are alone right now in this dark cave, my own thoughts about you Despairs there is highly different to what my boss is. Also, don’t think I didn’t do my research either I know what I’m up against….So let see if my luck is with me this time. ❞ She simply sighed lightly, this was going to be troublesome but she hoped that luck was on her side today though it was soon she felt a small wisp landed on her shoulder for good luck though. ❝Well, you overlooked one thing I don’t use a gun, I only weapons that stun people. Although I could just throw my high heels at you to make you unconscious. ❞ With that being said though she thought that if she didn’t wear her shoes it would likely improve her chances maybe so she took them off.
SERVANT laughs a little when she says that – “DON’T JUDGE ME.” As though it wasn’t already human nature to judge everyone’s adherent worth. It was funny to hear, though. Especially in this day an age. As society crumbles around you and the only LAWS that matter are created and reinforced with strict punishment.
Not that SOCIETY meant anything to him at this point. He was with the ULTIMATE DESPAIR. Those whom had forced the world into this absolutely trashed state. “Is that so?” There was absolutely no belief in his tone. If the ULTIMATE LUCKY STUDENT – well, former, believed her at all? It didn’t show. If anything, he sounded more amused by her comments then before. But, his eyes still showed little to no interest. A consistent, degrading, look. She was no ULTIMATE.
She was not H O P E.
Nor could she dream to be.
Not in his eyes. Not in this world. So? It was funny to watch her try so hard – it was about the same feeling someone might get from watching POLICE approach the BIG BAD in an action movie. You know they’re going to be slaughtered. To prove the s t r e n g t h of the bad guy, and prove the necessity of the SUPERHERO. “You work in a unit whose specialty is dealing with the tragedies of this current, crumbling world. Or at least, that’s what your uniform suggests. Am I mistaken in believing that that is why you try so hard, little dog?” He asks in a breath – almost sighing out the words, as through frustrated at why she could believe that she has the right to ask him these questions. “… you have different goals then your boss? Alright, interesting, I suppose. But your unity is one of your strengths in this currently chaotic world. If you do not hunt me down to relinquish me to that brute you call your leader, then why are you after me?”
As she comments about his skill, he says nothing. Simply offering her a dead-eyed smile. He had never believed in his ability. LUCK was not H O P E. If anything – his skill was a tragedy. A curse. But, sometimes? It worked for him. He’d find out whether that was the case today or not. “Do you fancy yourself able to save me?” Komaeda asks, half-heartedly.
She was going to try, then. He could see her removing her shoes and making her way closer, bit by bit. He could hear the ground crumbling ever so slightly under each movement. He knew – if she came out here, fully, they would both go crashing down. And yet, here she was trying regardless. “Should I give you a handy cap, Miss? Do you need me to move forward to give you an actual chance?” This was said in mocking – after all: She’d told him not to look down on her. If she asked him to adjust for her – then she’d be admitting that she can’t do it on her own. And yet, he was giving her a chance to prove herself. She was small, light-weight, she had a real chance. So? He’d remain still as they spoke… watching her movements carefully.
