Thinking about how "You really are amazing!" from Teru to Mob in the broccoli fight is about disconnect. About Mob succeeding where Teru failed (giving Teru yet another reason to idolize him). He views Mob as incorruptible, so there will always be an uncrossable distance between them.

But then "You really are amazing" from Dimple to Mob at the end of divine tree is about connection! It's about understanding! He gets Mob more in that scene than he ever has before bc his godly powers gave them a shared experience. He knows Mob is fallable and as a result knows how hard he's working not to fail, and Dimple's desire to emulate that work for Mob's sake gives the scene such a gentle intimacy.

The admiration isn't the problem. The problem is that at this point Teru sees Mob as a deific figure, while Dimple sees Mob as a friend.

I really liked how this one turned out, so I'll indulge myself in some rambling hehe

First of all, I was thinking about making a normal cake, but Teru seems to deserve more than JUST a cake... Then I had the BRILLIANT idea of making a Swiss roll, which is still a great dessert but stands out for the occasion (birthday, I mean) !

So for more details on this sweet, it has chocolate dough, the filling (orange part) It's filled with passion fruit, it's citrusy but sweet, and the little pieces of fruit in the middle are mango !! Let's say that the whipped cream and cherry on top were Teruki's own whim, but come on, he deserves it !!!

I have wanted to draw Teru wearing some peak Tokyo street fashion for awhile and found an amazing ref with a mustard suit and white boots and I knew IT WAS THE ONE.

Teru would be a man of fine suits. I also keep putting him in a mustard suits. I did that in my ageswap fic. I just think he would look fire.

Most fashionable man alive.

I LOVED making this one! It seriously got me out of the artblock abyss SO fast urghh

I think the clothes already give it away but the design is based on the fight against Shimazaki n s2! I love that fight, so when I thought about portraying Teru's side in it I got a little carried away by the thought that he's practically my age and was saving the world from self-centered terrorists

I wanted a scared, afraid, terrified Teruki... That's what I wanted to portray, the FEAR of losing and knowing (or maybe not) the consequences of his failure! It was tense, and he couldn't win alone (in fact I think that deep down, deep down he was never content with not having killed that blind man).

So if at any point you expressed that you liked the expressiveness or movement or anything like that in the drawing, THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me know because it makes me happy that the message got across ^^
