The doctor tries positive reinforcement
Switching between these every day
i ran a (proper) 5k today, and i think running is becoming really, really important for my mental health. the adhd-and-whatever-else cocktail in my brain makes me feel like life is passing me by, like i’m unable to function at the same pace as other people. i constantly tell myself: i’m going to do this, i’m starting that, i’m going to paint today, i’m going to finish [x]. but after a while, you get burned out from lying to yourself, from spending yet another day doing nothing to move forward. somehow, though, running has been the one thing i’ve stuck with. i’ve hated it at times. i’ve run in the fucking rain. the path has been flooded and icy. but it’s the one promise i’ve made to myself in the past year that i haven’t let myself down on, and that feels really good for my brain.

more stobotnik for you all!
Is there something you planned to do before you got trapped in the endless tumblr scroll?
Are you yelling at yourself to get up and do the thing, but you can’t, because you’re trapped in the endless tumblr scroll?
Consider this your save point.
Put tumblr down, stand up, stretch, and go do the thing you planned to do. Future you will be incredibly grateful.
House & Wilson should make out reblog if you agree
I really don't understand how "without getting kudos or comments a fanfiction author is going to assume that people who clicked their fic didn't like it" became a controversial take.
I don't know why some people think an author should imagine, or guess that people who click their fic enjoyed it it when nobody is telling them that.
If you're re-reading a fic constantly, or leaving it up in your tab so that it re-loads every day for a hundred days the author is not going to know that unless you tell them. They'd love to hear it. It would make their day.
And if you don't tell them you liked their fic, there's no reason for them to assume you did.
its not funny but i do think about it a lot
HELL YEAH THE NICE GUYSSS
There's many similarities to the 2007 film, 3:10 to Yuma, and Red Dead Redemption 2!
So if you love Westerns, cowboys, hot guys, potential for fanfiction in a movie, and a beautiful short story, you might want to watch 3:10 to Yuma!
Here are the similarities between 3:10 to Yuma and RDR 2!
Charlie Prince (3:10 to Yuma), he's an outlaw, he's loyal, and? He's a bit too much like Micah. Hell sometimes they sound like each other!
Ben Wade (3:10 to Yuma): He's an outlaw with a heart, the leader of the gang who goes from being fully of himself and not caring for his gang or anyone for that fact, to developing a friendship with a broke rancher which possibly changed his mindset! I'd say he's similar to Dutch Van Der Linde and Arthur Morgan. Plus he draws.
I know this post is a bit of a stretch but I just need more people to watch and talk about 3:10 to Yuma.
My interests: 3:10 to Yuma(2007), Unhinged, The Exorcism (2024), and more!
